Wow first it was Samsung bendable smartphone, now Lenovo want you to bend your smart phone around your wrist, instead of tucking it away in your pocket or bag.

YouTube personality Meghan McCarthy showed off the flexible smartphone during during Lenovo's Tech World conference earlier this month, taking a pretty standard-looking smartphone and bending it around her wrist like a slap bracelet.

She then proceeded to take a tablet and bend it right in half to show how a tablet could also be comfortably used to take a phone call with bendable technology.

Lenovo SVP and CTO Peter Hortensius told the audience that the technology not only has a bendable screen, but also bendable hardware components like motherboards and batteries.

Lenovo did not announce any names or potential release dates for its new flexible electronics, although Hortensius mentioned that McCarthy should be careful with them because "they cost a little bit more than your average phone or tablet right now."

This is the latest of many Chinese companies cashing in on Big brands name by producing fake product in thier name.


The fake portable gas stoves engraved with Apple logo and "iphone" brand name, was recently discovered only after the single burner stoves were deemed unsafe and seized by Chinese police in Wuhan, according to the Chinese tech website M.I.C. Gadget.

Police found 681 stoves sporting Apple's logo and brand in two warehouses. The stoves had the half eaten apple graphic and "iphone" printed in white on a green background just below the burner. Also, the fake Apple stove was labeled an "Apple China Limited.

Have you ever wondered or dream of having Android operating system on your personal computer. Do you even know that if Android support comes to our desktop it would be useful, and could bring with it better touch support, countless Internet of Things applications and official streaming applications to make an extra cheap streaming device.

Well, thanks to these three ex-Googlers who founded Jide Technology as you can now run Android OS on any PC and all you will need is a flash drive and a few minutes of your time to get started.


What you will need:

The version of Android you will be running is a desktop-optimized fork of Android-x86 called Remix OS.

Before you get started, you will need to download the latest version of Remix OS from Jide. It works on most computers (including Macs), and all you really need to get it up and running is a USB 3.0 flash drive with at least 8GB of storage.

You will also need a program that can write the ISO to the storage drive. UNetbootin is one of the best tools around for the job. It's completely free of charge and works with Linux, Mac and Windows.

Installing and booting Remix OS

After you've downloaded the latest version of Remix OS and installed UNetbootin on your computer, setup and installation is pretty straightforward.

Insert the USB drive and format it to FAT32.
Extract the Remix OS ZIP you downloaded and locate the ISO.
Run UNetbootin and select the Diskimage radio button.
Choose ISO in the dropdown menu.
Paste the path to the Remix OS ISO in the field or use the browse button to locate the file.
In the Drive dropdown, make sure you've selected the correct USB drive.
Click OK.
UNetbootin will begin installing the image on the storage drive, which will take several minutes. Once it's finished, insert the USB drive into the computer you want to boot to Remix OS. From this point, instructions vary a bit between Mac and various PC models.

For Mac:

1. Power down the computer.
2. Once the computer has fully shutdown, hold option and press the power button to boot into Startup Manager.
3. Use the keyboard or mouse to select the Windows drive and press enter (or click) and wait for the system to boot.

For Windows:

1. Power down the computer.
2. The first time you do this, you will need to boot into BIOS. Refer to this chart to find how to boot your PC into the BIOS/UEFI (usually F2, F10 or Delete).
3. Disable Secure Boot under the Boot or Security tabs.
4. Optionally, in the Boot tab, you can change the boot priority by highlighting a drive and using the + or - keys to change the order in which drives boot. Doing so means the computer can boot straight to a flash drive if it's installed, otherwise it will boot normally.
5. In the Save & Exit tab, select the USB drive which you installed Remix OS on to boot from and press Enter.

A hacker from the group Anonymous has broken into pro-Isis twitter accounts and filled them with gay pride messages and pornography in the wake of the Orlando night club shooting.

Phrases such as “make love not war” and “I’m gay and I’m proud” appeared on the Isis profiles.
The accounts were hacked in response to the Orlando shootings.

On June 12, Omar Mateen attacked gay nightclub Pulse, which was the worst mass shooting in America’s history. The attack left 49 people dead, and dozens more injured.

Anonymous, a loose network of international “hactivists”, has previously declared war on Isis, promising to shut down their social media channels.
The Anonymous hacker and twitter user ‘WauchulaGhost’ appears to be behind the hackings. He claimed responsibility and posted screenshots of them.

His real identity remains hidden, but in a phone interview with the Washington Post he said: “My goal waking up in the morning [is to] see messages from Daesh, telling me they’re going to kill me or cut my head off. The madder they get, the happier I get.”
The hacked twitter accounts later appeared to have been suspended, fulfilling Anonymous’ aim of shutting down Isis propaganda sites.

John George Haigh also known as "The Vampire Killer", born on 24 July 1909, who is also refered to as the Acid Bath Murderer, was an English serial killer in the 1940s. He's famous for battering his victims to death or shooting them before proceeding to drink some of their blood and to make the crime undetected he dispose of the bodies of his victim in acid and watch the body dissolved, before forging papers to be able to sell the victims possessions and collect substantial sums of money.


His Victims:

After Haigh was freed from jail in 1943 for fraud, he met his former employer Donald McSwan, who became his first victim at a pub. McSwan introduced Haigh to his parents, Donald snr and Amy, who mentioned that they had invested in property. On 6 September 1944, McSwan disappeared. Haigh later admitted hitting him over the head after luring him into a basement which he use as a workshop. He then put McSwan's body into a 40-gallon drum and tipped concentrated sulphuric acid on to it. Two days later he returned to find the body had become sludge, which he poured down a manhole.

He told McSwan's parents, Donald snr and Amy, that their son had gone into hiding to avoid being called up for military service. Haigh then took over McSwan's house and when Donald and Amy became curious as to why their son had not returned as the war was coming to an end, he murdered them too – on 2 July 1945, he lured them to the same basement where he killed Donald and disposed of them.

Haigh stole McSwan's pension cheques, sold their properties – stealing about £8,000 – and moved into the Onslow Court Hotel in Kensington. By the summer of 1947, Haigh, a gambler, was running short of money. To solve his financial troubles, he found another young couple to kill and rob: Dr Archibald Henderson and his wife, Rose, whom he murdered after feigning interest in a house they were selling.

He rented a small workshop at 2 Leopold Road, Crawley, Sussex, and moved acid and drums there from Gloucester Road. Haigh was also known to have stayed at Crawley's George Hotel on several occasions. On 12 February 1948, he drove Henderson to Crawley, on the pretext of showing him an invention. When they arrived Haigh shot Henderson in the head with a revolver he had earlier stolen from the doctor’s house. He then lured Mrs Henderson to the workshop, claiming her husband had fallen ill, and shot her also.

After disposing of the Hendersons' bodies in oil drums filled with acid, he forged a letter from them and sold all of their possessions for £8,000 (except their dog and motor car, which he kept).

Haigh Last Victim:

Haigh's next and last victim was Olive Durand-Deacon, 69, the wealthy widow of solicitor John Durand-Deacon and a fellow resident at the Onslow Court Hotel. She mentioned to Haigh, by then calling himself an engineer, an idea that she had for artificial fingernails. He invited her down to the Leopold Road workshop on 18 February 1949, and once inside he shot her in the back of the neck with a .38 calibre Webley revolver, stripped her of her valuables, including a Persian lamb coat, and put her into the acid bath. Two days later Durand-Deacon’s friend, Constance Lane, reported her missing.

Detectives soon discovered Haigh’s record of theft and fraud and searched the workshop. Police not only found Haigh’s attaché case containing a dry cleaner’s receipt for Mrs. Durand-Deacon’s coat, but also papers referring to the Hendersons and McSwans. Further investigation of the sludge at the workshop by the pathologist Keith Simpson revealed three human gallstones and part of a denture which was later identified by Mrs Durand-Deacon's dentist during the trial and conviction.

Questioned by Detective Inspector Albert Webb, Haigh asked him "Tell me, frankly, what are the chances of anybody being released from Broadmoor?" (a high security psychiatric hospital). The inspector said he could not discuss that sort of thing, so Haigh replied "Well, if I told you the truth, you would not believe me. It sounds too fantastic to believe."

Haigh then confessed that he had killed not only Durand-Deacon, the McSwans and Hendersons, but also three other people: a young man called Max, a girl from Eastbourne and a woman from Hammersmith. These claims could not be substantiated.

A new product launched by LELO, a Swedish intimacy company has been dubbed “the Apple of the pleasure product industry,” HEX condoms represent one of the first major advances in condom technology since the reservoir tip was added almost 70 years ago.

LELO engineers spent seven years developing their new condom, driven by one crucial discovery: it didn’t require new materials but an upgraded structure.


“The challenge was to make something radically different with a material already approved for condom use," Filip Sedec, LELO founder and inventor of LELO HEX, told Mashable. "We did this because people need to be having great, safe sex today, not ten years from now.”

Why hexagons? It turns out this six-sided shape is among the most durable under pressure and seep-resistant, as represented in nature.

“There’s a reason why honeycombs are the shape they are, and why snake scales move the way they do. It’s because hexagons are strong, symmetrical, and tessellate perfectly," Sedec explained. "They’re one of nature’s go-to shapes for anything needing to be at once lightweight, and incredibly strong. That’s why the structure of Graphene – the thinnest, strongest material we know of today is ... you guessed it, hexagonal.”

Unlike others on the market, HEX condoms feature a honeycomb hexagonal lattice. Each HEX condom integrates 350 small hexagons through its latex surface, resulting in effective performance.

The extremely thin hexagonal panels also flex and mold to the wearer. It's more forgiving of friction and stress, preventing the latex from tearing, LELO claims. Even when repeatedly poked with a needle, the taut HEX doesn’t rip.

Sometimes around June 2015, Google started its Android Secuirity Rewards program, awarding money to researcher finding vulnerabilities in Android as well as Nexus phones and tablets.

Google recently shared the results of the program on its blog, and it can be considered a success, both for Google and the researchers involved.


So far, Google has paid more than $550,000 to 82 individuals who found more than 250 qualifying vulnerability reports, Google's Android Security Program Manager Quan To wrote.

The top researcher, identified by Google as @heisecode, is actually making a decent living finding Android bugs; he won a total of $75,750 for 26 vulnerability reports.

He'll get an even bigger enticement to continue searching for bugs in Google's mobile OS, as Google is increasing the awards for reports filled after June 1, 2016.

According to Mashable, From now on, researchers who submit "high-quality" vulnerability reports with proof of concept will receive 33 percent more. High-quality vulnerability reports with a proof of concept, a CTS Test or a patch will get 50 percent more. Also, a "remote or proximal kernel exploit" will now earn $30,000 instead of $20,000, while a "remote exploit chain or exploits leading to TrustZone or Verified Boot compromise" will be rewarded with $50,000 instead of $30,000.

Finding buried treasure is everyones dream but for Jack Conway, a turf cutter from Emlagh bog in County Mesth, Ireland, his find is a bit weird. He was chopping turf at the bog when he came across a 22-pound chunk of butter at the beginning of June.

Researchers at the Cavan Museum estimated it to be more than 2,000 years old and believe:

‘Theoretically the stuff is still edible, but we wouldn’t say it’s advisable’


Bog butter is just that: butter made from cow’s milk that’s been buried in a bog, though, after thousands of years, it often has the consistency of cheese.

No one is sure exactly why the butter was buried in bogs - some think it was sometimes an offering to the gods - but evidence strongly suggests it was a method of preservation.

Most bog butter doesn’t contain salt, which was often used as a means of preserving food before modern refrigeration. The bogs, which are essentially cold-water swamps, and their native peat do a fine job keeping food fresh. A University of Michigan researcher found that meat left in a bog for two years was just as preserved as meat kept in his freezer, the University Record reported in 1995.

Forest officials in Gujarat state in india have arrested about 18 lions over the past two months and were now being kept in separate cages so they can test the lions' prints and ecrement in an attempt to identify a man eater among them suspected of killing three people.

Six attacks on humans have been reported recently near the sanctuary, the only habitat of the Asiatic lion.


"We think we have pinpointed the guilty lion, but we are still awaiting the results of nine more animals," he said.

Wildlife expert Ruchi Dave told the BBC that the "tests" involved studying the pug marks and faecal matter of the lions.

"The officials are also studying the animals' behaviour. Man eating lions usually get aggressive at the sight of a human being," she said.

Another wildlife expert Revtubha Raizada said the man-eating lion would be caged for the rest of its life, as it was too unsafe to release it back into the wild.

Some experts feel that the thriving lion population in Gir forest is to blame for the "unusual" behaviour by the lions.
Govind Patel, the former chief wildlife warden of Gujarat, told the Indian Express newspaper that Gir could accommodate only 270 lions, forcing some prides to settle outside the boundaries of the sanctuary.

The "guilty lion" will be kept in a zoo for life while the others will be released back into the Gir sanctuary, the officials told BBC Hindi.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the supreme leader of the Islamic States (ISIS) and head of its Caliphate, has been reportedly killed in a U.S led airstrike in Syria.

According to reports from multiple sources Al-Baghdadi, 44, born Ibrahim Awwad Ali Muhammad al-Badri al-Samarrai was injured in an airstrike on Friday and later died from his wounds. There has been no official statement from the U.S. government about these developments. According to several sections of the Arabic media, al-Baghdadi was killed in the de facto capital of the Islamic State, the city of Raqqa. He was accompanied by several commanders of ISIS at the time of the airstrike, several of whom are either injured or killed.

The much anticipated Samsung foldable smartphone now has a name. The mystery smartphone which was first reported in September 2015 is the Galaxy X.

The mystery smartphone codenamed "Project valley" is reported to come with an iris scanner, meaning users will have the ability to encrypt and unlock the phone with their eyes.


Samsung’s foldable phone would be a huge technological marvel, this reason of this is simply because it’s not going to be foldable like a flip device neither will it have two separate screens. The Galaxy X would be bendable; the display would “actually” be foldable without damages. Now that's some great development in mobile gadgets and technology.

A report by ChristianDaily says the Samsung has filed a patent for this device and it includes a fingerprint scanner.
