PETERiCHY: Nigeria’s currency, the naira dipped to 423 against the dollar at the parallel market on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 after the National Bureau of Statistics announced an official recession in the economy.
The naira opened at 418/$1 on the day, but slipped to 423 after the NBS announced the worst economic recession in 29 years.
http://www.thetrentonline.com/gets-worse-naira-tumbles/
We foresee the economic recession over 12 moon's ago and out of God's love we kept raising RED FLAGS, even suggested the way out but they tag us pessimists and unpatriotic citizen, now the reality has set in.
While most are seeing a casting down some of us are seing a lifting up.
That's why the good old book says MY PEOPLE PERISH DUE TO LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.
I will never pity anyone on this forum that saw my warning on the bad state of the nigeria economy and my plead to safeguard their fund against the economic drought that will hit the system by invest in dollar right from when it was still trading 235 mid-last yr.
Some of us are actually having the best moment of our lives and heaven and earth will vindicate me that I really tried my best to save alot of souls via my countless warnings.
*ThE OcToPuS* The truth will always prevail. I just hope that the Govt will halt the continued slide |

Nulasco: True fact. After spending over £12000 for Masters still you wouldnt be allow for PSW. I know people doing their second Msc in uk just hoping things would work out. The all come home looking for jobs. I don't know why people still go to uk for study and think they can stay after to work. Have never encountered a Germany, Australia, Usa or canada graduate coming back to nigeria not to talk of lookin for job so far he/she graduate with a good result and a relevant degree there's always opportunity that can't be said with Uk graduates. If u lookin for greener pasture abroad after study dont go to uk. I know of people who did master's in USA who came back to naija looking for job o |

Chikebrain: Just reading this thread and it's been quite informative. I put some huge spare cash in fixed deposit only to be told that TB is better. I spoke with my bank (Access bank) and they gave me 13.5% on TB. I'd like the gurus in the house to put me right by answering below questions 1. For primary bids, can I speak with my bank on the percentage I want. 2. When is the next bid date 3. So percentage can I bid with 4. Is it wise to leave bidding to my account officer
Thanks as I impatiently wait for your response 1.yes u can bid but be careful on the rate coz u may loose out 2. Next bud date is September 1 so u send in your bid d day before 3. Consult people. Follow this thread. Be open 4. The choice is yours. |

Chukzyfcb: with the way most of y'all comments here, I am forced to think that you guys trade stock on a weekly basis. I always used to think that stock investment was something to be done for a long time say at least a year. I am a novice tho and i want to ask. if truly certain people here buy and sell stocks almost on a daily basis, how do you do it without boring your broker ? I believe your broker will be contacted every now and then to buy and sell on your behalf since its an active bizness for you, that must be a very tiring and cumbersome process for newbies to emulate. isn't it? People trade online. |

[quote author=talktrue1 post=48623461]@feelamong Pls, I did my treasury bill yesterday at diamond bank at 14% for 119 days But the info am getting here talks about 91 days and 182 days. I dont know how they come about 119days someone should please enlighten me
NB: I didn't know about the TB before. I went for a fixed deposit and the officer told me to go for TB for 119days at 14% since its far better than Fixed deposit.[/quote
The TBills sold you were from the secondary market. You can only buy from the primary market through auctions on the bidding dates, the next being September 1 2016 |

overcomer123: The dumb headed account officer is tellin me 13 percent, of which i called the fidelity guys and they say 14 i will go with the 14. I just hope i dont incur to much cost transferring across banks. What is the tenor? Sometimes tenor comes to play. |

overcomer123: @ feelamong can you guide me on the way t go abt it on the secondary market, cos i just think my account officer is playing some games with me.
Are the rate negotiable to?
if yes how?
What are my chances of getting 14 percent? I use Access bank and one can buy in the secondary market (if you have an account with them). U consult for the rate through live chat and then send an instruction on online through customercare to debit your account with them accordingly. (Even atimes you can be asked to drop the letter at any nearest access bank) I have done |

Triplee2: REALLY FUNNY. But I bet to believe we are here to talk serious business no investing and money making from the stock market and not play around. For mi i have sold of 97% of my shares in UCAP, FBNH and Oando. Am putting my money in NTB for 180days at 18% would be back when it matures in Feb 2017. I would advice all newbies to follow suit cos this market is not in a good state presently. It's nice in a way, but remember that even TB rates are expected to rise above 20% in the coming weeks. In addition why not go to the agricultural sector where u have returns of between 20 to 30% available |

rebekah2011: What is the nature of your transaction? Are you trying to make a withdrawal from your account? Did you sell a stock? Have you factored the T+3 before requesting for your cash. Please before you raise an alert like this, it will be nice to detail your experience with them. I do not work for them. I have had nice experience transacting with them so far. I agree with you, Morgan Capital is ok. |

honestpoju: You really misunderstood me, and too quick to jump into conclusion. Was that what I told you? With due respect that was the implication of your action. I asked for you and your guarantor to sign a legally binding document to protect me in case of default and since then no response. What am I expected to think. That's the summary of the issue and you know it. |

People just want loans without conditions. How can u give a loan without agreement or a back up in case of default. I'm disappointed that you were not prepared to sign to a legally binding document. GOD help us all |

But the E7450 still achieves between 7/8 hours. Yea, on Windows 10 my laptop still goes for about 7 hours too |

Lexusgs430: I have 2 Dell laptops, the M2800 really suffered from battery drain on Windows 10. The E7450 did not suffer from battery drain on Windows 10. So I think it's the luck of the draw My Windows 10 is working well on Inspiron 5547. The battery is performing excellently on it also. That's my experience o |
