Just a paltry 20k?

When someone was in my DM offering 90k to 120k?
nitigriti:
Now I understand why someone offered me #20,000 each for my inactive Bolt and Uber accounts.

Of course, I didn't take the offer.
Please who is giving you guys the offer? I need to auction my taxify account.

In all everybody is right after all, we are here to share our experience.
Just that he's over hyping this Uber Job, just ask about the job he will tell you the job is very good that even his audio female drivers are doing well.
He have become Nairaland Uber consultant according to my man, funny enough I learnt he doesn't even know how to change gear.
grin
I never used to believe that there were trolls on the internet not until when I witnessed him.
He is so keen about protecting his investment by coming up with different monikers. Audio Rich man that won't invest where he got his money.
The peanut he is getting from the USA that gets multiplied when he comes to Nigeria is what making him to feel he has arrived.

Una no know say na strategy for his car, oil sales and rentals for the gullible and naive drivers. He likes to rant and argue in his shady biz favour!
I now know why he is protecting his business by saying you have to slave before you can be a master, forgetting this driving work is about slave to slave as long as you keep driving.
He doesn't want to end up driving his cars himself and that is if he can handle a steering.
His case is just like the rich that keep deceiving the poor in the north so that they can keep seeing them to use.

I don't blame all these small boys from the betting thread that feel they can talk to everyone online, the money you won from merrybet is what making you talk to your elders that make you think you are mates. Is that not you on your profile picture?

Expected as usual, and your little brain never told you their is always protests against ehailing apps everywhere. If so why?
If it's that favourable why are they protesting?
Why are you not telling them to quit?
Oga borrow yourself sense oooo, like someone mentioned the other time we always complain about the situation of the country.
So that means we all should be asked to leave and look for another country abi?

You always compare Uber drivers with government workers, are they truly better than these government workers?
They train their kids in school up to university level, some even build house and did other stuffs.
How many of them sleep outside like outcasts, as if they don't have house and families to go to?
They also have retirement plans in some cases and have access to loans, HMO s and the rest.
What does Uber driver have? Nothing, not even insurance of any sort.
If anything happen they will deny you and say you were not working on the app when it happened.
Besides their is kinda stable, Uber driver may not have a car to drive tomorrow what becomes his fate, u go just dey talk choo choo choo.
Na only get the thread, u sabi everything.
You guys even called people that liked angryigbomans comments fools and idiots as if that makes you better.
Mtchew
Don't mind that one that talks like he knows all. What he fails to understand is things are going his way doesn't means those driving are beneath him, as no condition is permanent. I was an employer of at least 12 staff but situation changed.
This work should be a survival job to a next phase not to be done as a career as you will end up USELESS few years to come. They keep saying that save, save, save, but they forgot you can only save when you have extra. That is why this job is good for the young with lesser responsibilities.
I don't know what his problem is by asking people not to drive if they are not ok with Uber.

It is only the naive and gullible ones that will fall for your tactics. You created a group yesterday but claimed to give tutorials on the group by 8pm Saturday.
This first image made me to call you out that this is a scam. How come someone is already making payment for what you haven't explained about. And this has been the same tactics you lots use to deceive the naive ones.
You ejected me thinking that will stop me from exposing you but this second and third images should show mean something to you.

Can you imagine a destination trip from Maryland to victoria island with that traffic on 3MB comes out at 2300 naira on a 25% commission despite fare review but taxify would pay me between 2800 -3000 naira on 20%.
Now this is the mistake I pointed out, you neglected the fact that Uber displays after commission deduction but taxify displays you money PLUS THEIR MONEY lipsrsealed.
Uber charges 11/min, base/200, km/60
Taxify charges 10/min, base/200, km/65.
Now tell me how you can get a difference of hundreds using the same trip as a case study. Taxify's Km is only higher by N5 which 20km can only give you N100 extra.
Now tell me which one would you rather chose?
Moreover, Uber patronage is more on the island, that's why i usually blow empty to ikoyi sometime before I could get a trip. The 3% is fantastic but not everyone would be lucky to do 20 trips before Wednesday of a new week.
I am only making you to understand more about this work. I knew when you started and I knew about your ford devil.
I also work from the mainland, starting from Ipaja. You don't have to blow to island to get trips, driving towards surulere, onike, yaba, unilag is your best bet. And lastly, there is no platform that is prone to short trips while luck decides your day.

Your reply doesn't even have anything to do with my post. Did I ever argue your earning here with you or argued bolt's 25% is better than uber's 3%/20%?

Anyway, peace.

Good luck and more earnings sir.

My elders local man has come again. I woke up early as i used to for a destination trip to the island but God pass taxify. Now, I found my way to the int'l airport with a trip and i was given a card to the parking lot. My app is on again hoping for a destination trip to the island.
Any advise on the pick up?
Can I go and help the rider with their luggage to the parking lot if I eventually get one?
Or should i move out?
Elders, make una advise me, na only 700 naira i don do since morning and my Egbon cooladex and luxurydriver talk say airport trip sweet, i no want make this one pass me by
Still at the airport? See you in about 50mins

Try not to stay too long there, you will only be reimbursed for 1hour fee if you eventually get a trip.
And also note that it's best you start your trip in the car lot else no payment for you.( Maybe)

Add Mile 2 to the list. Reject that area at night. Don't let anyone guilt trip you with"drivers shouldn't cherry pick or cancel trips". It is your car and life at stake here, not uber's. Uber still continues despite this young man's death, no kobo will be paid to the guy's family or owner of the car.
Bro I know you are still wasting your precious time working on 20% thinking it's better than the 25%. I am only advising you for enlightenment sake since 25% down to 3% is the lesser evil at the moment.
Now I have till Sunday to make more while you are still on 20%. Meanwhile, I have GROSSED 28,000 going by the way taxify deceives drivers by displaying gross instead of net (thinking you are earning more). Follow the train while it's still available.
Meanwhile I didn't earn much last week because I was dis-organised when 30 trips notification came.

Hmmm! This can only happen by this time of the day with the help of almighty surge.
Abeg let me take my car for repairs as earlier planned.
Chai! Inside life.
Uber made me to lose the zeal to work after getting the 30 trips notification on Monday, I am just on 3% service fee yet worked with Uber alone. It's well.

Now this is when Uber will lose some drivers and end up losing trips/riders(riders will have to wait longer cos of fewer drivers online at the moment and the impatient ones will use the alternative).
We are stylishly back to the era of 25% and drivers will continue to groan in pains for the there is nothing they can do(no union).

Someone shared earlier that you need to be in places where you can get short trips and hope for fewer long trips.

Now this is the motivation up there.
Tunlapapa my man! Bless you brother.
Abeg take time rest, eat and light some oven for house grin. You deserve it brother
It was the other person that motivated me as I never really bothered. The reason is just that the more I drive, the more repairs I make on the vehicle.
This is what I intend doing tomorrow on the vehicle but it has been an impending fault but high usage during the week brought it beyond manage.

Actually this is #114,061.66 gross for the week.
Job well done, sir!
You can't really calculate it that way since 65k of that net was on 3% service fee. That's the good about Uber over taxify AT THE MOMENT (non is dependable)

Which car do you drive and did you calculate the fuel cost?? If yes what was the fuel cost??
The best part, I was already on 3% net at 20k net.
I didn't calculate fuel cost cos it was just as if I was working for myself since the commission was insignificant.

The hustle is real, nice one man with the way u are going u can gross 100k on uber alone this week.

Bolt/Taxify be shocking riders these days with the fare. grin
Now this is where I draw the curtains. Your post motivated me chase 100k but I couldn't cos of too much waiting time on Saturday and I never worked beyond 6pm daily.
