My Oga, i did 13 trips yesterday though they were short trips and grossed 10k, i was pissed off because my darling Taxify usually gives me long trips, with just 4 or 5 trips, i would have made that amount.
So today i have done another 7 trips, fares better than yesterday, that's 20 trips already.
Will i get a notification about the reduced commission (3 %) or Sundays don't count for a new week trip count? or should i write them to ask how its done?

Driver claimed the road was bad by rejecting your trip. You didn't think of requesting another ride but decided to report him. Is it Uber that repairs his vehicle or you think the token that Uber charges you is enough to maintain the vehicles on Lagos roads?
And you may likely be the kind of rider that rates a driver low due to absorber noise but won't think that it's not the driver's fault but the road.
And what do you think Uber will do the driver for rejecting your trip?
Any rider that says anyhow will hear anyhow from me if he dares threaten me by reporting. PEOPLE WERE SURVIVING WITHOUT UBER AND THEY WILL STILL SURVIVE WHEN THEY STOP UBER.

Bro no be fight, rental was once 35 and same was said concerning those who were doing 30. You can't fight it, it's not a matter of being a good investor. It started from 60 to 50 to 40 and so forth in fact like I said a lot of people realized it was not what they thought and it's still happening

Hi guys...pls kindly help encourage someone here o. I tried to use google map to locate FAGBA around Ifako. The google map was just taking me round and around Allen, Ikeja like Mumu. sedI hated myself cause I just thought to myself If I had lifted a rider and I got confuseed as I did today, the rider wont take it easy with me o. this is one of the reasons I find it hard to venture into this biz myself as a driver. Pls someone help how do I conquer this issue of road mapping. google don fail me many times. google has led me to one-way before. I quickly reversed as one of the street boys advised me to turn back. Some days are like that brother, that today is slow does not mean tomorrow will be...furthermore, you can also ask for positioning techniques from the experienced hands. I spoke to ogunvic and Romeo personally before I started driving and learnt a lot from the thread.. I didn't stay in the same place for more than 30 mins...

But basically some days are slower than others but your gross at the end of the week or month is what matters.

Truth is the business is OK for drivers with appropriate rental esp if the car is yours. But as someone rightly said, the work labour is not commensurate with the pay. Fares are ridiculously cheap..this revenue could have easily been doubled with the right fare..driving tells on the body but puts food on the table regardless.

When I was driving I target trips becos in my small mind 10 trips equalled 10k base...of course iz not always d case as you could make more or less in trips but drivers should focus on trips turnover..if you start early in a day you should make it...tho iz tough iz not the toughest job vis a vis pay..ask labourers
