Pls I need Bs cos nothing disturbs like labour and brith.im so anxious im seriously having some mixed feelings I use 2 hospitals dont know yet where to use 4 delivery.im an inexperienced mom my ist ttime. I strongly want to push my baby but heard labour pain is unbearable im contemplating cs.pls I need advice.

There are lots of BS on this thread.....Vaginal delivery & CS.

Ditch the mixed feelings and focus on "safe" delivery.

Same God that put the baby there always provide strength to go through labour successfully, all you have to do is hold on. Either vaginal delivery or CS is painful but not unbearable.

What's important is mother & baby alive and well.

Chizzy86 dont take all that scan date stuff serious biko! My last scan brought my due date back to November 1! na so I happy come announce am here wetin be today? 17th still no baby

At my last anc I accosted the sonogram guy asking him why did he tell me I will deliver November 1st?
He just looked at me and said " I am not God nah" na him I use vex reply am say since you know you are not God why didnt you write in the edd space as due in Gods time? the guy was speechless.

One has to be careful of intakes of food & drink while preggie....Throw back to when I was pregnant { I bi plenty people senior for here so show some respect and Holla }....I was feeling very hot one afternoon which I was 19wks preggie and a friend brought this ice chilled power horse to the house, if u see the way I gulp the whole can....Mehnnnn d feeling was heavenly and refreshing. Then came the night and horror began. I started having irritation in my throat and restlessness in my tummy with woozy feeling. I couldn't feel myself at all and unfortunately I was d only one at home. Had to drag myself to the loo, deep my hands in my throat and force myself to vomit everything I ate for the day, sat under the shower for a while and manage to sleep off but not before asking Google the effect of power horse on a pregnant woman.....Lol and behold it was raw posion as the content was totally unfit for a preggie. When I gist DH later the next day he just said "If I slap u now dem go say I dey maltreat small pikin wei I adopt as my own".

Tammyloreoluwa...I ate lots of EKO when I was pregnant sha. The craving dey always start for midnight but I didn't over eat it tho'. Yes they said it sticks to d baby at birth. The nurses had to use 2bottles of oliver oil to clean my baby first as against 1bottle they normally use.

@tycocepts, anxiety cld affect milk production adversely, so pls relax. Its very impt dat u eat well and tk plenty fluids.

Anxiety stopped since my boy popped o! The eating well is what I will have to concentrate on.

@tyconcepts, keep putting baby to the right breast, the more he sucks the more the production. Don't be tempted to keep giving the left. Need i say you have to eat well. Well, when baby starts emptying your breast patapata nobody will tell u to eat up. Also up your fluid intake esply in this dry season. All the best

I was facing same. The lactational consultant suggested breastpump and so far it's been helping.
But before the breastpump tell ur hubby to suck it ( u might need to get a bowl for him to spit in) It will pain u.... But it's worth it

Got a breast pump already tho' haven't used it, now that u mentioned it I will start with it. DH already dey give booby chance since LO arrived, e no wan taste breast milk at all so to tell him to suck go hard o!

@tyconcepts, the trick is eat well, rest well and take lots of fluid. Lack or inadequacy of any of the 3 can affect your milk factory .

HELP!!!

My boobies are not lactating well enough to feed my PC especially the right booby.

I don drink pap, palm wine and use hot water massage the boobies yet am not impressed with the milk production.

Someone should plz suggest something to help out fast joooooooor!

NB : My appetite has been a mess since delivery, as in I even forget to eat sef and that's unusual for me. I eat well before and during preggie.
