smoothsailor: in addition to the up suggestion i av been thinking of the same and a friend from USA called me and told me i can go to airport myself and go to delta or united airline counter and told them i want to book a flight to USA and explain to them i don't have much that i want standby ticket. it is always sheduled to be after boarding, the remaining seats un-booked will be given at reduced price

jidex001: My broda, dis agent are so so wicked. You no they have all his information and they won't want to release it and they might have even signed agreement already. And dis guy might end up paying up to a million naira. I feel @ dis point if he involves police or lawyer (You know how our nigeria police behave) he might lose out because the agent has already got 350k and they can afford to run away and he will lose.

Now they are requesting for anoda 100k. I am very sure they won't release the information because they agreed on 800k.

My advise to him he should just stop paying and how sure is he that all dis are not even scam.

That why I said he should call KCC, KCC have being in charge of DV for many year and they must have heard a case like this. Let him just hear what they will tell him.

U don't nid to call KCC.. That mean u are going to complicate d the issue... Jst follow junkerhill advice...

Landed sunday night at the George Bush Airport aboard Qatar airways after 8 hrs stop over in doha, went through the immigration, stopped for a check on my baggade and have my dried meat ( tinko ) , ginger and knoor chicken trashed by the airport screening officials, i was advice before leaving Naija to take red cab home since my host will nto be available to pick me at the airport but i saved $46 by taking a shuttle bus for $34 ( after an intenet search for cheaper shuttle at Doha ) instead of red cab for $80 to my destination ( naija brain ? ).

I am home trying to learn the ropes, gone out sevarally using the metro bus card with effective use of the navigation on my ipad. Its a nice environment here in houston and i am hoping to enjoy every bit of it.

In the meantime, i opened an account with Bank of America already and started spending from the account.......waiting arround for my GC and SSN. I have got some job offers awaiting my documentation.

Abimbola80: Hallo my people, I got to the embassy around 8:25am with my family. I was called to the queue around 9:15, did all document verification and straight to the other building. On getting there, I paid $1,320 for 4pple at window 22 and submit all my original docs and photocopy for window 19 with Int passport. I was in the front row looking at the 3cos. It was only the CO in window 14 (Young boy) that was nice, d CO in window 13 is too harsh and heartless, just they ask unnecessary question. Cos I was tired and hungry, I prayed for God's favour to have a stress-free experience. To be candid, favour beckon at exactly 12:32, the guy at window 14 called me and my family. This is my experience:
CO: Are you....
Me: Yes
Co: do you swear to say d truth?
me: yes. Then sign the form
Co: what is your highest qualification
me: MBA
co: what is your project topic?
me: Comparative adv in small and medium scale coy in lagos....
co:What is your first degree course?
me: AAAAAAAA
Co: which state do u serve, year and your PPA?
me: Sokoto
Co: bring out white paper and circle the address
In less than 4minutes, this wonderful guy gave me d visa without stress.
I want to show him my documents, but he said i shld keep them.

To be candid, it was God. I had an interesting and wonderful experience. Thanks for your
supports and prayers. This house is too wonderful, let's keep the flag flying.

Naturalization is the process by which a green card

naturalization considering that it was the election

during the Presidential elections.
Green card holders are better known as lawful
permanent residents of the United States. The
lawful permanent resident status comes with rights
and responsibilities.Green card ( http://

the US permanently. They can work here without the
need for any work permit. They are also allowed to
invest in property, start businesses, join certain
branches of the Armed forces, have access to

I shocked and started remembering all the informations and advise I tapped from my E-family. Immdiately one female CO open window 16 and called B402. I'm crazy, becos she was tough. I hope in God for the best. B402 interview last for 30 mins. Guess what? My number beeped at window 14 a looking handsome man.

Note: We had 2 birth certificates; the NPC, and the normal birth certificate for myself and my wife. The man at windows 20 looked at both, but choose the NPC. He remarked : your NPC certificate is a certified one (authenticated), and I said yes.
We prepared so hard; asked ourselves questions and even carried 2 big albums for courtship, introduction and wedding, but CO never asked us to present any album and only asked us 2 questions during the interview proper as highlighted above. We can clearly see God's favor and hands in our interview.
GENERAL ADVICE TO ALL: Please, let's not forget our God when we get to the U.S. When things are rosy, let's learn to hold on to God at such times more than when we encounter problems.[/quote]Congratulation to u n ur family....
