ah! Good luck my bros. It's good to have international backups!! So your final take on this - should she go with confidence to meet the consular officer for interview in Oct. (if they submit now)? OR should she slow down submitting and RE-write waec nov/dec and delay submitting till January with likelihood of dieing from anxiety? if you were in her shoes, which will you do from your heart? Which is safest? I appreciate your posts and agree that in any case it will be good to have English to set the records straight for the future, but give me one (1) decision now. Don't rush, just think through - All your life-line are gone... lol Remember, she has a University Degree!!
She shld summit the form nw, an let her write d nov/dec exam I̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ orda 4 her to ve her english I̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ waec..
for does of u going for interview, pls do nt parnick cuz if u do ur body language will change u can even say wat u dnt knw,ok now for a example i had a friend who won dv lottery sme years back,on is form he wrote dat is date of birth was 1987,and is birth certificate shows 1987 but wen he was asked by the co is date of birth he parnicked and said 1980 and he was refused visa cuz of dat, what do u think is de reason for de lottery.america is a great nation today cuz it was build by immigrant,so dey need more people who will add to de economy nd development of dat great country america so wen interviewed talk like u knw wat u are doing be bold as if u are de only hope dey need, let ur body language tell dat u hve alot to add to dat country and also talk like u have idears dat will move de country to dat next level
True talk// Gbam |
...whenever there is an argument I draw the x,y axis and always meet at a point(trying to help one another). While helping others we ought to avoid stepping on other's nerve.I got motivated by the Cape- Verdans,Mexicans and the Brazilians immigrant;they dont only help themselves to secure A visa but also help in settling down (accommodation,work,transportation..)and that is why they are all over the place. The problem with some of us is Pride;trying to impress people with little or no information at hand, trying to gather allies rather than making friends. Some also like to spark up conflicts by kissing people's A S S, this will take us no where, let us forget about the Pass and move on.Let us learn to say "sorry" rather than playing pranks covering an old wound with with new cloths. I am just thinking..
adesojiaderemi u said it all... Let 4get abt the past n face the present... Gbam |
jidex001: My broda, dis agent are so so wicked. You no they have all his information and they won't want to release it and they might have even signed agreement already. And dis guy might end up paying up to a million naira. I feel @ dis point if he involves police or lawyer (You know how our nigeria police behave) he might lose out because the agent has already got 350k and they can afford to run away and he will lose.U don't nid to call KCC.. That mean u are going to complicate d the issue... Jst follow junkerhill advice... |

Abimbola80: Hallo my people, I got to the embassy around 8:25am with my family. I was called to the queue around 9:15, did all document verification and straight to the other building. On getting there, I paid $1,320 for 4pple at window 22 and submit all my original docs and photocopy for window 19 with Int passport. I was in the front row looking at the 3cos. It was only the CO in window 14 (Young boy) that was nice, d CO in window 13 is too harsh and heartless, just they ask unnecessary question. Cos I was tired and hungry, I prayed for God's favour to have a stress-free experience. To be candid, favour beckon at exactly 12:32, the guy at window 14 called me and my family. This is my experience:Congratulation to ur family.... |

The US Department of Homeland Security released information about the number of people who became US citizens in the year 2012. There has been an increase in numbers since the previous fiscal year. In 2012, 757,434 people became naturalized citizens of the United States as compared to 694,193 in 2011. Naturalization is the process by which a green card holder in the United States becomes a US citizen. The green card holder has to meet several eligibility criteria before qualifying to apply. The applicant has to be at least 18 years old, should have had the green card for 5 years (3 in case of marriage to a US citizen), should meet the continuous residence, physical presence and state stay requirements, should have good moral character and should be willing to take the Oath of Allegiance. There are observations that, in the year 2012, there may have been slightly more people who applied for naturalization considering that it was the election year. Being able to vote is a right granted to only US citizens. A lot of people applied for naturalization for the sole reason of being able to cast their vote during the Presidential elections. Green card holders are better known as lawful permanent residents of the United States. The lawful permanent resident status comes with rights and responsibilities.Green card ( http:// www.usagreencardlottery.org/ holders can live in the US permanently. They can work here without the need for any work permit. They are also allowed to invest in property, start businesses, join certain branches of the Armed forces, have access to certain tuition and health benefits and those who meet the eligibility requirements can also apply for US citizenship. There are several ways in which a person can get a US green card ( http:// www.usagreencardlottery.org/ . People within the US can get green cards through an adjustment of status. People from outside can get green cards through family sponsorship. Adjustment of status happens when people are within the country in different statuses – through employment, through marriage, through investment and trade, and through humanitarian circumstances. In the year 2012, 1,031,631 became lawful permanent residents of the United States. 547,559 green cards were issued through adjustment of status and 484,072 were given to new arrivals. Things to note: A majority of green cards were given to people from Mexico, China and India. Mexico, Philippines, India, Dominican Republic and China were the countries of birth of a majority of the people who became naturalized citizens. |
Good day House, To God be the Glory! Interview appointment was 10am today and it was successful; After going through all security checks and making necessary payments, we were called at window 20 to submit only 1 passport photograph, 1 photocopy and original of only birth certificates for 5 of us and marriage certificate. The guy at window 20 never even demanded for our academic credentials, and we wondered why? We waited until our ticket number beeped! CO: Good afternoon US: Good afternoon CO: How are you? US: We are fine thank you, and you? He replied: very good CO: Please do your thumb prints on the machine - we both did that CO: Please raise your right hands and promise to ..... CO: To my wife, you are the principal applicant..... my wife answered yes US: We remained standing with the kids for the interview. I was not asked to go and sit down with the kids INTERVIEW PROPER CO: What's is your highest educational qualification My wife: Answered CO: Do you have any document for this My wife: She presents Original and 1 photocopy CO: Do you have WAEC? My wife: Yes, and presents her Original WAEC and 1 photocopy CO: Everything is good, pulls out white paper and hands over to us! To all members of this great forum, we remain eternally grateful. God bless you in your dreams! Note: We had 2 birth certificates; the NPC, and the normal birth certificate for myself and my wife. The man at windows 20 looked at both, but choose the NPC. He remarked : your NPC certificate is a certified one (authenticated), and I said yes. We prepared so hard; asked ourselves questions and even carried 2 big albums for courtship, introduction and wedding, but CO never asked us to present any album and only asked us 2 questions during the interview proper as highlighted above. We can clearly see God's favor and hands in our interview. GENERAL ADVICE TO ALL: Please, let's not forget our God when we get to the U.S. When things are rosy, let's learn to hold on to God at such times more than when we encounter problems.
Congratulation to u n ur family.... |
