Good evening,
Just want to find out if anyone had done evaluations with ICES and / or WES? if anyone has any idea on processing times from when originals are gotten and verifications are done.

horlorbah:
Good morning house, I just checked my IELTS result now, I had 8,6.5,7.5,7.5 in LRWS and a band average of 7.5.
Is this a good result for Express entry or do I have to apply for remark?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by tysaxmalomo: 6:11pm On Oct 02, 2019
Good evening everyone, just wanted to confirm if the requirements for WAEC by WES has been stopped... I was informed that it was stopped about 2 weeks ago and if you check on their website for documents for Nigerians for evaluation it is also no longer there.

Just want to find out if anyone here has had any experience on that recently.

Thanks

I thought I was the only one yet to get results
Highly doubt that...... Every result i've seen has been from MOD.

Haven't seen any BC ielts scores...... I guess someone said some indians had received scores though..... Don't know how correct that is.

Seems BC has issues.........

Was expecting an email to at least inform of the reason for the lack of results. No email, no result, no correspondence of any sort.

And yet professionalism is expected?

It is well.

Thesis based admission result is usually out after securing a supervisor. If I may ask, did you communicate with a potential supervisor at the said department before applying?
The law faculty said it wasn't compulsory seeing as I would have to present my thesis proposal in the first 6 months when it (supervisors) would be determined. I think each department has their own rules as to supervision

There is a very big difference between FACT and OPINION

When someone says something and even drop cic link for more info to it you are still arguing? NA wa o

The some of the so called seasoned professionals are in the forum too, I will rather drop a question here an get different Pop's than take straight up what the professional thinks

All the professionals I knw where dumbfounded when this issue of fund export came up, the best bet was coming here to learn from 1st hand experience

We all know there are agents and immigration lawyers everywhere so why join the forum in the first place?

Baba a lot of lawyers and agents DEY this forum

YThere is even a possibility that visa officers view the forum

I heard something about USA visa officers being on nairaland sometime ago not sure but there's Atleast a slight chance

Facts will always supercede opinion no matter whose opinion it is even if NA Albert Einstein

Thank you all
To your bolded , yes the USA study thread has the US Visa officers come in to answer questions sometimes and infact the USA VO's have a thread on natural and itself

CanadianNurse:
I know it might be a Refusal... I have my reason for asking that question!

Since he linked his application that means he submitted by paper route
And for it to be showing "the additional documents you submitted are being reviewed" for someone who submitted by paper then that means he provided additional documents upon request by CIC after his submission
Therefore I'm asking to know what type of document he provided! The reason for Refusal might come from there!

So @tobyharwe am not mocking you, that question is really useful help us answer it
I understand how you might come to the conclusion but while I was applying online , the point of upload for your letter of explanation was headed as additional documents, and it is this point you also upload any other thing you want to upload that has no provision in the other upload points, so the additional documents may just be the Sop and other documents that fall under the additional documents category in the eyes of the embassy not necessarily request for new information

I never said he is wrong...
I already know about this, I have early been told by someone, but I just wanted to try, and moreover the Embassy never said if you send them mails when your application has not passed the normal processing time, that the will deny you Visa..

He made it seem like my Visa has already been denied because of my 1 sentence email grin

"Hello,. I'm......... With reference/application no.........
I haven't yet received any mail with regards to a Medical tests, kindly advise!
Thanks"

He came up too aggressive and pessimistic.
We are all very fragile this stage, small things can trigger me...
I overreacted though!!
You claim to know the rules and to be a Christian and yet when simple rules are laid out in front of you,, you, flout it and come here and state spewing belief nonesense, it's just common sense please... If u look at all my posts I said may, no embassy likes t when u seem too desperate, but if you feel sending the embassy multiple emails as regards your medicals barely 4 weeks to your Application by all means please continue and keep using Christian living as the basis

Oga carry your pessimistic mind and stay in your lane...
Which kind talk be dis angry

Even if you want to advise or air your opinion, there are more diplomatic and polished ways to do it..

That's how people like you (not necessarily you) were telling me not to apply for a Masters degree, because I didn't have a high CGPA, but guess what, I didn't listen to your kind...

I applied for a Masters and I got it..
Man made Rules don't always apply, I'm a Christian, good things always come my way.

That doesn't mean, I don't put great effort into achieving things, as the Bible says "faith without work is meaningless
"

I got admitted, and I believe I will get my Visa...

I know I will get my Visa, unless God doesn't approve, and I know HE does!!!
Bookmark this my comment, save it for reference.

This is not bragging, I know who I am cool
First off don't be so uncouth, I said may and if you check their website it is stated that you should not send a mail except if your processing time has been exceeded, for someone who claims to believe in God, I expect following the rules should be something you are supposed to know about. And should be pretty easy for you to follow and about getting admission with a low cgpa believe u me if you don't meet the their minimum requirements you wouldn't have been admitted. So, please if you wanna be self righteous without thinking right then go ahead and stop throwing tantrums like a little child who had his candy stolen.......

Many times o.. Like 3x
First one was around 1st week of this month, I just sent a mail on Monday.
Just getting an automated response.
You may never get a response seeing as the only time you are encouraged to send a mail is if your application has exceeded processing time, or if they request for documents, so if you keep on mailing them, you may just end up putting a lot of spotlight on your application which may or may not be good, cos coming across as desperate, may also act negatively to your application

Good day house, I just signed up on this forum after I was told about it by a good friend. I wanna say a big thank you to everyone for the great job you're all doing here. We'll, I already submitted my application on the 2nd of this month with medical but I haven't received any update yet. Please guys is that a course to worry because I can't sleep well ooooo honestly. God bless. BSc by the way... Thank you
No cause to worry, some applied since March and haven't heard anything, I applied 2 May and upfront medicals too and I haven't heard anything, the truth is you need to find activities to do to take your mind off it. For me I read other study threads and I just might learn one or two things for the future from there, coupled with the office workload I have..... Biko, having nothing to do after applying for Visa is a very serious matter o. The suspense can be very difficult to handle, but all in all, God alone has the final answers

thanks dear but please not to disturb you, can you list some unis in the cold region?
also how high is the employment opportunities and cost of living there?
Check Saskatchewan, check Newfoundland check Manitoba, and Google the schools in those regions. Like I said employment opportunities depends on the person, . Cost of living is OK relative to some other places.

Lankyannie:
Have managed to research on schools in Canada and I found out that Canada is way too expensive than America. I want to study there but the tuition fees and cost of living is too expensive, schools I researched are:
Douglas college

university of manitoba

university of Alberta

dalhousie university(this one is more than expensive ni and the employment opportunities is low)

Grant macEwan university

memorial university of Newfoundland(its too popular and the offer sharp courses but very expensive)

Brandon university

university of Toronto

Georgian college(mainly art courses)

Seneca College

please from this list of universities, I want to know the one that offers either nursing, public health, prosthesis and orthopedic for undergraduates and also the one with low tuition fee, low cost of living and high employment opportunity. help a sister out biko.
ps: I want to be able to work and school at the same time.
First off, if you did your research well, you'd know that tuition in Canada is actually cheaper than the USA, story for another day, as regards like tuition schools,

Umanitoba

Usaskatchewan

Memorial uni

Uwinnipeg

Basically check the cold areas in Canada, their tuition is almost always cheaper compared. All study permitted above nine months usually allow work as a student 20hrs a week during school and 40/week in the summer, job after school is strictly on your own ability

For the programme you'd need to research these schools and pick out your choice, no one can do that for you.

Good day Austinpee.
I guess my issue perhaps might be close to the above problem. Presently am a graduate of university of Nigeria nsukka ,business management. I have also managed a hotel and have a vast ict knowledge as i was network administrator and hardware engineer for over 3 years. But then I applied for an undergraduate course in Canada with admission offered to me already. But reading through this it feels my application for study permit will be denied since i have a degree in Nigeria already. Presently I have not applied for the study permit but my aim is to avoid any reasons for visa denials. Please advise on what's best to do regarding the application. Thanks.
Try and give full details u applied for undergraduate admission to what course huh The truth is going for a second bachelors is not frowned upon really, inasmuch as you can explain to the VO clearly and u equivocally how the degree would be of benefit to you, either at your current job or in any venture.

My question is, why not a Master's degree in your proposed course of study huh Anyways till you give complete and full info, no one can give you complete and detailed advice
