Thanks Costa for also bringing in the maximum bonus points. How lovely it would have been if you had taken the armband. Eriksen, Debuchy and Dier, your turns. cool

Make una see as goals dey flow for Goodison. Naismith for don make sense as a starter in place of Rooney, man! shocked Abeg make una nack Costa maximum bonus jo. Except Costa and Naismith, no other strikers have impressed me that much yet to consider bringing in. Still watching for now.

nitlad: Dream Team member Duff dey waste for my bench, meanwhile basket Coloccini dey field for me. . . smh
Same here. Sacrificed Clyne again today. huh It still baffles me how Fab cops all the points while more-forward guys like Hazard just stand by. It's puzzling!

By the way, I think Mata's days behind the strikers are numbered. Or is it just me? huh

mencade5: fpl captain is now a big problem. I miss suarez. I miss his 4 goals and an assist in a single match, i miss his hatrick in a single match, i miss getting a whooping 44 points from suarez alone.

Haaaaaaa.....who will save our captaincy every week? Who?

Last monday yaya brought just 2 points as my captain. Today nko, rooney is bringing 4. I don die!

Rooney thunder fire you ooo. What a waste of captaincy hand band.

Wildcard loading...
No be small. I still pity my Liverpool for letting the guy go, with all his issues. When people now talk about the Reds qualifying alongside Madrid in their UCL group, I find it rather hard to share the optimism. I mean Suarez is gone! Can Sturridge and Balo fill the void? huh But he's with my favourite club now and that's something to cheer me up a bit.

ladywriter: If you must give a sample article, use the samples you have already and if the employer demands for a sample on his topic, write 100 WORDS for him. If he is not satisfied with that, then let him/her go.
Na my style be that! But I think I am at a stage now where they rarely ask for free samples. I can only remember 1-2 of such this year.

Although he's in my team, I hope Costa's injury helps Hazard to massive points haul from now. grin

nitlad: How come Lloris with a clean sheet and a victory gets just 6 points same as Krul who didn't win? angry
Ever heard of extra points for winning? A goalkeeper can only get points for cleansheet and saves as well as bonus points for impressive performance. After these, no think am. cool

polymathic: Yea... Fake pple, don't know why our dailies shld allow those dubious pple use 'em to advertise their illicit biz...
It's capitalism at work. The dailies only care about making their money while trying at the same time to protect their image by adding a "disclaimer."

It's likely you've seen one of their ads of a "London company now open in Lagos" in some national dailies, telling you to come buy T.M. and Hawes & Curtis shirts for N700 and suits for N850. Awesome! You'd say. grin cheesy Not so fast. Better tread with caution and don't believe all you are told. My two kobo.

OAM4J: "This is why we get brutal" - Professor Killer

The manager of Brutallion F.C; Proffessor Ikupawon Killer stormed angrily at Pariolodo B.C reporter when asked if he has a new recovery strategy following his poor start of the season. "This why we get brutal and people start complaining that we show no mercy and take no prisoner...when you ask me questions like this", he said. "Yes I have a strategy and it is a simple one; recruit new dangerous players and send all opponents that come our ways to sudden death like we did to Ipukulu Marines or give them an unrecoverable defeat like we gave to AvantGarde last season. We barely managed to defeat The Godfathers last weekend, thanks to late strike from Fikusewa Costa and Apayan Fabregas". He further stated that he has been generously given 4 weeks by the club owner Rtd. General Fikusire to get back to the top or face a firing squad. "No! no! no! I really cannot afford that, cos I love this game too much", he said.

When asked about his next F.A encounter with Librans F.C he said; "Libran F.C is an average team with no serious ambition, they have not changed their manager despite their average performance for years. Notwithstanding, we are not taking anything for granted because we cannot afford a defeat from them, their manager can afford a defeat with no consequence, but I cant. As much as I love to be gentle with teams managed by ladies, and Reema is a fine lady, we are still Brutallion"
Professor Killer, easy. Mercy, please. grin cheesy

mhuyil: Funny there's not 100% winning style. I feel Wildcard is best utilised when some teams will play twice in a gameweek. Then, you can load your team with players that will earn you 2game points in a gameweek.

It is almost totally wrong to use it after gameweek1.
I for say.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2014/2015 by U1(m): 8:07am On Aug 23, 2014
Ibime: Bros, watch your team lemme watch mine. Ibimes style is unique. I have always played WC in the first week and Terminators is yet to finish above Ipukulu
Proofs? Not always. More than once you have played it week 2 or 3. But I also understand desperate times require desperate steps. grin

Standard007: bros na my first time nah, instead of to pick players I go do auto complete. And besides na nw I undastand d game well. Ready to whip some peoples ass including urs.......... grin grin grin
It's pardonable in your own case. But for veterans like Ibime and A40, huh? huh I still think game week 1 is insufficient to judge players you want to keep long term. Some players could turn out to be one-hit wonder.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2014/2015 by U1(m): 12:43pm On Aug 21, 2014
Standard007: pleaseeeeeeee, help me out am having almost d same problem but mine is 36 points!!!!! Tanx, I can't loose my points like that.
Una go soon tire. This one wey una dey fling wildcards left, right and center. I'm even surprised Ibime appears to be on the same track after only week 1! I won't be surprised if una don throw in the towel by January.

I guess he's simply telling you to request for code from Mukinatu to join the Nairaland leagues.

By the way, I wonder if the mobile site will be up this season, sadly. It usually didn't take this long to be up in the past.

Lol i no want double registration so the new code is for new people unlike last year wey both leagues contain the same teams.
Bongoman, let me know when you don settle. I'm in the mood to teach some people fantasy football management in your head to head. grin
