Liability: you don already give up? This is already week 7. You can be the eventual winner of this league.
Remove this bolton wanderers mindset from yourself jor. Liability, wetin you dey yarn na? We are not talking about liability here o, we dey yarn asset. Bolton Wanderers or not, it's the same mindset that won me the FA Cup at Ritchboy's expense two seasons ago. |

azpekuliar: It's fine when FPL managers come here week-in-week out to sing the praises of Costa, Sigurdson, Fabregas, Sterling etc when they have had a good game week. However, I am left bemused, when managers actually harbour the vain hope that they can somehow close the gap on the leaders with these same "template" players. That's how to tell managers who know how to play the game, from those who are here to just make up the numbers. The ownership levels of these "template" players is just ridiculous! Costa - 66.3%, Fabregas - 51.3%, Sigurdson - 44%, Sterling - 52.9%. I doubt that past FPL powerhouses like CR7, Lampard and a few other's ever commanded an ownership level as high as 66.3%!
The chasing pack will need to now think outside the box and take more calculated risks with DIFFERENTIALS. A decent GW performance from a differential pick will shoot you up through the rankings. The gravy train only helps you hold your position, but like a car without gas, you can sit in there all day but you ain't goin' no where.
Early last week, when I replaced the suspended Rooney with Sakho, he (Sakho) had an ownership level of just 0.7%. I even had the Captain Armband on him all week, before I switched it, because I felt that might be pushing it a bit too far (a decision I have since come to rue anyway). Despite a Captain fail, I still got a decent green arrow accross the mini-leagues and global leagues.
I recall another instance, in my title winning season. Gareth Bale had one of those injury spells and had been offloaded by hordes of fantasy managers to the point where he had assumed differential status. Ritchboy timed Bale's return to perfection and even captained him. Bale scored a hat-trick and Disvirginators shot up 8 places through the rankings to second place where he was on my tail for the rest of the campaign.
The FPL is a hunting ground where the game ain't gonna be won by just playing it safe for 38 GWs.
In the interim, Intelligesia doesn't seem to be able to run away with it just yet, so it's on! You have a point there, but one that had been brought to my attention numerous times. But then, that's a piece of advice that head-to-head-centric fantasy managers like me will often find hard to stick to. Heck, the idea of your opponent giving the armband to Costa, and you to Pelle or Ulloa, as in this past week, could more often than not backfire like say tomorrow no dey. I am more open to differential as a team member than as a captain. As I said, my main focus is on the cup like Everton in the Europa. |

I came about this post while searching for info on how to transfer money from the mobile money app to another GTBank account. I've been getting senseless error messages. It's been one issue or the other on this mobile money stuff for almost a month now that I have not even been able to do any transaction with it.
GTBank has been my bank of choice in Nigeria, and I think it still is. But this mobile money of theirs is not doing their image any good. By the way, there is an undisclosed N100 fee to fund the wallet with your GTBank ATM card. |

tolutweety: I agree with you completely. The fact that he isn't scoring or providing assists for FPL managers doesn't rule out his contribution to the team.He was at his brilliant best in today's match, and save for the 2 assists of cesc to costa,I would have rated him higher compared to the latter.
He s just like Silva in mancity @d moment, not scoring or providing assists, yet, his presence can't but be felt.
Mourinho won't want to do without him...believe me! FPL managers can decide to trade him off thou ..the choice is ours. Um...isn't the fantasy league why we're here? For all I care, Chelsea can lose, make Hazard just bring in the points for me. |

seyi42k: As an arsenal fan, Let me tell you why Fabregas will outscore all chelsea midfielders this season (including Hazard) due to some of the reasons below;
1. Fabregas is like fire in an enclosed space that burns out all oxygen,i.e. as long as Fabregas is allowed to dictate play in any midfield, other midfielder either plays to his rhythm or become ineffective. This means that all creativity goes thru him.
2. Mourinho will never allow Hazard to flourish as he ought to.If you notice, Hazard had a falling out with him this year over increasingly restrictive roles. In my own opinion,Hazard might never reach the height of his potential under Mourinho. Why? Mourinho loves players who are very good at just one particular trait e.g. defend, attack, pass, shoot (Ozil,Drogba,Ronaldo,Lampard) but players who can handle multiple roles (dribble/pass/create) are either wittled down to their bare fuctional minimum (Mikel) or are jettisoned without ever been maximised (Mata).
Therefore as long as Fabregas is the metronome of the chelsea team, Hazard must either become a goal poacher ala Lampard, a scorer like Schurrle, a winger like Willian but not everything. Players like Hazard are usually given room to express themselves without restriction, however that freedom is given to Fabregas and to a lesser extent Oscar. Hazard, I fear might just be an expensive spot on your Fpl team (get Snachez instead if you have the funds).
3.Fabregas is basically an assist machine and he has formed a superb partnership with Costa.
Anyway the points above are my own opinion and should not be taken as fact. The same problem posed by Hazard is the same with that of Mata. i did not choose or bother to choose Mata because of Rooney's undefined role as the first player to usually suffer Rooney's accommodation in Man U's team is Mata or Januzaj. Rooney is just an enigma or headache for Man U coaches. Due to this fact, I did not bother to choose any of them.
I will appreciate other people's thoughts on the matter.
- Intelligesia Na Intelligesia you be true true. In fact, you don sway me more. Just waiting to see what the Hazard guy will do in midweek before swinging the axe. In the meantime, let me start breaking the back of the other guys that have been sitting on my money. No time. |

I think after this nobody will believe a costa injury again. .
Just hope sterling outbest him Like seriously. But sadly, over-priced folks like Terry, Hazard and Debuchy I have kept faith with all this while won't let it count. To think I'm playing -4 against an Azpekuliar fella with active wildcard. Time for serious house cleaning. For the life of me, I still don't understand how Fabregas keeps on out-scoring Hazard. |
