The gameweek has been a good one so far, but it could have been better, though. Out of greed to cash in on double matches that Blackpool would be playing, I left at least 23 points on bench. My 3 subs that wouldn't be used have 37 points between them; they all scored.  sad angry
Technology Market › Re: Phone To Sell/buy by U1(m): 7:14am On Jan 01, 2011
I have a Nokia 6230 for sale; just for 2.5K. The only issue with it is that you need to change an IC in the memory slot if you wish to use a memory card. Also, you may need to change the keys; they are a little bit faded. Reach me on 07084148412 if interested. It is non-negotiable. I'm in Mushin till Tuesday.

^^ That makes the two of us. I really needed to transfer Drogba, and make VdV the captain, but network itches messed everything up. sad angry
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2010/2011 by U1(m): 1:00pm On Dec 28, 2010
I'm pretty pissed off right now. Almost all actions of those in charge of the game has not been favourable to me so far. I really do not understand why Nasri was made the captain on a day like this; when they ought to have done the same 3 or 4 games ago, they gave it to Elmander then. Now, I narrowly missed transfering Drogba and changing captain to VdV, I feel he is going to rake in some needed points. huh
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2010/2011 by U1(m): 9:49pm On Dec 26, 2010
Another in a series of wrong tactics: Took the captaincy from VdV and gave it to Nani. But, I guess a brace each from Nasri and Drog would be fantastic - in my dreams. huh

So sad! Guess this is how I bow out of the Fantasy Cup in the very first week. What a wrong week to start the Cup; this is so not fair.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2010/2011 by U1(m): 8:02pm On Dec 20, 2010
I really do not understand why these EPL people won't just postpone this Man City - Everton match altogether; seems like they want to see me dumped out of the Cup in the first week. The score is currently 8-1 in my favour, and my opponent still has Baines, Barry, Cahill (C) and Tevez. huh Baba God save me.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2010/2011 by U1(m): 5:44pm On Dec 18, 2010
^^ Paid indeed. Really sad though. It's a good thing all Sunday matches have been called off. I only pray that of Monday would be called off too so that my chance of another round in the Cup would be brighter.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2010/2011 by U1(m): 3:56pm On Dec 18, 2010
Blackpool - Spurs must not be off o. That would put paid to whatever ambition I have left.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2010/2011 by U1(m): 3:33pm On Dec 18, 2010
I wonder why these FPL folks had to start the Fantasy Cup during this period of postponements. With about 10 of my 15 players not playing for now, only a miracle and postponement of Man City - Everton match could save me from being dumped out in the very first week. huh
Education › Re: Am I Too Old To Enter The University1 by U1(m): 10:54am On Dec 16, 2010
@ alisigwe. I really understand how you feel. I stayed at home for 6 years before gaining admission into the university at that same age; due mostly to financial difficulties coupled with some unfortunate occurrences. I sat for JAMB four good times, and the lowest score I ever had was 232. I felt this same way too, and I still do, somehow, because of my personality, but I'm trying to beat that; God help me, and you too. I do comfort myself by the fact that there are older folks in my level at school. My only advice to you, and others in similar situation, is to let this situation propel you to come out from the school a success. Good luck!
Romance › Re: Guys Only Column . . Please Back Off Ladies! by U1(m): 10:20am On Dec 16, 2010
Was expecting to see something other than this. Guys, don't you think its high time you accepted Jesus in your lives? That doesn't exclude me by the way. Remember, nothing last forever except eternity. What happens if in the process of "enjoying" yourself your creator calls? Look at those gifted people who are no more, they probably never knew they would be gone so soon; where they are now, only the Creator knows. Think about it.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2010/2011 by U1(m): 9:21am On Dec 16, 2010
@ lalaboi. Maybe Cahill comes before Nolan in your priority list. My own case some weeks back was more painful: I had Nolan on the bench, as first priority sub, in that particular gameweek and he went on to score 3 goals (about 20 points - with bonus); a defender who scored just 1 or 2 points was used as my sub. The explanation which the FPL folks gave was that I must play at least 3 defenders each week. It was very painful, I must add.

Romance › Re: My Gf Told Me She Aborted In Her Last Relationship by U1(m): 6:00pm On Dec 15, 2010
I know this could be a shocking revelation and, if I were in your shoes, I will feel the same way. It is a commendable thing that she actually told you that. Imagining myself in such a situation right now, though, I am not really sure if I'd continue with the relationship because someone who has the heart to commit abortion has a high tendency of killing someone.

@ A-40. No mind that Drogba guy. Got me rejoicing after the first goal, only to see later on Sky Sports Live that he lost a penalty too. Just that I have not been totally convinced of all the other strikers yet; he would have been gone by now. I was monitoring Tevez initially, but with his current issues, I am looking at Berba. For now, I'll just wait and see if Lampard's return would have positive impact on DD.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2010/2011 by U1(m): 6:04pm On Dec 12, 2010
Drogba did not even start today. If he should come in and bring in just 1 or no point; he should consider his butt kicked out. I have been patient for long enough.
