Can you compare it to europe or Asia or even southafrica buldings ?
It boils down to cost, for example the bird nest stadium in Beijing (since we're comparing to Asia) cost $423 million (296 billion naira). which government/private body in Nigeria will spend such amount on a single structure. You can have fancy designs in your system (laptop) as a Nigerian architect but if they're not funds to build it (Nigeria), it'll not make it to reality. Don't know if you get what I'm trying to say
Can you compare it to europe or Asia or even southafrica buldings ?
Back to the what I said earlier, price. If the government said they want to erect a structure for a billion dollars, they'll be an outrage How much do you think those fancy buildings in Europe you see cost.
Sunshine34: The kind of infrastructure going on around the world, you need to ask yourself that where is the brain getting all this, as in beautiful, not this regular shape,They are big, tall and beautiful but Nigeria still dey crawl and we are celebrating mediocre.
It's money, when they were building the world class stadium in Akwa Ibom, everyone were complaining about the cost. Beautiful imposing structures don't come cheap, today it's that stadium that virtually all the clubs in Nigeria are rushing to use for continental games.
Goldymafia: eye go turn am...when Niger delta dey boys they vex say warri, rivers refinery no dey work na dangote ..pipelines will go in flame soon with what am hearing...those boys dey vex
Na all these vex thing do make dem no site am for Niger Delta,
Babathanks: No private sector would risk building a refinery in niger delta because is prone to bombing or destroying cos of levy or greediness of youth there, ondo would had been a best option but the governor that year is selfish
AfDapone: Man U has just be vey lucky. Based on goals scored they are supposed to on 7th position. Even if they are one game less than some teams, whatever, there goals won't count.
Man U no dey score pass 2 goals and if they want to concede goals, they do it convincingly ask Liverpool 😂
StrongAlphMale: When it suits them they use America to give an example but won’t improve their services to meet standards. why can't the stupid Benjamin police compared Nigeria and USA in terms of development and sanity?
The foolish Benjamin policeman have never been to countries like SA or Benin Republic to see their police which is far better than the Nigerian touts parading as policemen, let alone US police. If na play stop am
How much is US police budget for a year when compared to Nigerian police
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ctlc8bMXP6E Ibom Specialist Hospital was established in 2015 to provide advanced speciality services to patients from the Akwa Ibom region and all other parts of Nigeria.
It was built by the Akwa Ibom State Government.
Billed to be of “world-class standard, and higher in status than a teaching hospital in Nigeria", this multibillion naira health facility was originally named 'Akwa Ibom 20th Anniversary Hospital'.
bitbillionaire: “No true Northern group will want to endorse Akpabio for a sensitive position like that of Senate President because he is not friendly with the North,”
This northerners with their arrogance. What is the meaning of 'he is not friendly with the North'?
Is he supposed to be licking their asses to prove 'friendliness?
Why are these people always fund of acting like Nigeria revolve around them? Entitled lot v and it's not even showing on their masses
Illuminatiship: Akpabio should be opc's president and not senate president.that guy go finish Nigeria senate and wreck Nigeria, tinubu and akpabio should never lead anything in Nigeria except a town hall meeting..
Far from it, he would have actually changed the narrative more as a President
Kabo Airline (owned by the late Alhaji Adamu Dankabo) also had the Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet in its fleet. It was founded and operated from Kano since 1980 and ceased operations in 2016 over tax issues with FIRS.
Kudos to Max Air - their large, double-decker Boeing 747 will be useful for the mass evacuation.
These are ‘Northern-owned’ airlines joining the NAF and Air Peace in the patriotic mission to rescue & stop some people crying of being abandoned in Sudan, or being told to step down from the bus for a while.
I'm very surprised a Nigerian airline has the King of the skies "Boeing 747" in their fleet
kingthreat: My guy you're not yet governor. Let your democratic term start first. By the way, hope you have the money to pay for the works. Taxation of substandard goods won't raise the IGR of Abia.
