Based on your submission written above, I want to ask you the following questions;

1. Can you show us any biblical verse to prove that Abraham did not have such spiritual and personal relationship with God- the relationship that you believe to be possible ONLY through Christ- ?

2. Can you show us a single verse from the Old Testament to prove that Abraham, Moses and the likes were looking forward to Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross ?


3. If the covenant brought by Jesus was based on faith through GRACE and not through OBEDIENCE TO THE LAW as you think, then what do you have to say about Jesus' statement quoted below ?

"The TEACHERS OF THE LAW and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must be careful to DO EVERYTHING they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach (Matthew 23:1-3 NIV)" .

1. The personal and spiritual relationship with God is only possible through FAITH in Christ the Son of God, when the Spirit of God comes in, regenerates and starts living in the spirit of man. No one (including Abraham) had this kind of relationship with God until Christ ascended - John 7:9, 14:26.

2. Genesis 22:14. Abraham named the place knowing God would provide the ultimate sacrifice for salvation on that hill someday. Abraham, and later Moses(writer of the book of Genesis), recognized that God did provide a ram as a replacement for Isaac, and it pointed to the ultimate sacrifice when God would provide Himself(Christ), not an angel or a mere man but God Himself to save and redeem us.

3. The new covenant of GRACE doesn't cancel obedience to the law but it's the goal of the old covenant of law - Matthew 5:17. The covenant God made with Abraham and his descendants was based on FAITH not obedience. Afterall no one was able to fulfill the law(complete OBEDIENCE) until Christ. God declared Abraham righteous not because of his obedience but based on his FAITH in God which yields obedience. Likewise FAITH in Christ is the basis of righteousness in Christians; the free gift of Christ's righteousness inputted in Christians is the GRACE of God not earned by OBEDIENCE but only by FAITH. In Matthew 23:1-3, Christ expected that the Jews had FAITH in God (of course they were still under the old covenant). The old covenant ended after the death of Christ - Matthew 27:51, Mark 15:38, Luke 23:45, 2 Corinthians 3:14,15. The new covenant took effect after the Christ's acension - Acts 2:4, Acts 4:8.

Now see how God called Abraham His friend;

What actually made Abraham to enjoy such a cordial relationship with God ? Was it because of redemption through Christ ? Was it because of GRACE through his FAITH in Christ ? Was it because of his belief in the atoning work of Christ on the Cross? No, no and no!

It was because of his constancy in obeying and keeping the law and commandments of God;

"I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because Abraham obeyed me and kept my requirements, my commands, my decrees and my laws." (Genesis 26:4-5)

Reconciliation in Christianity isn't the same with the world. Only Jesus Christ brought back what humanity lost after the FALL - God's Kingdom (Spiritual and Personal relationship).
I told you Abraham and other old testament saints looked forward to Christ's sacrifice and the cordial relationship Abraham had with God was because of his FAITH in God which resulted in obedience. The covenant God had with Abraham and his descendants from Isaac was a type and pointer to the covenant He now has with genuine Christians - both based on FAITH (through OBEDIENCE TO THE LAW in the former and through GRACE in the latter).

My reply;

If the spirit of a natural man has become dead to God due to fallen nature of man and hence there is need for redemption through Christ, then how exactly did Old Testament saints (like Moses, Abraham and others)who have lived and died BEFORE the arrival of Christ make their reconciliation back to God during their life time ? If these Children of Adam were able to make their reconciliation back to God during their life time WITHOUT redemption through Christ, then Christ is not the only way. Do you agree ?

No one was able to reconcile himself back to God before Christ. God's plan from the beginning has been to govern the earth through his regents (humans) by residing in their spirits. The Old Testament saints looked forward to the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ, that's why they made continuous sacrifices for atonement which pointed towards the final and ultimate atonement made by God Himself in the Person of Jesus Christ. God could only communicate and work through the Old Testament saints by physical manifestations and revelations because His Spirit couldn't yet live in them. The Spirit of God is now available to anyone who believes in Christ as the Lord and Saviour - Ezekiel 36:26,27

If there is only one spirituality in the entire world of human being, then Paul may be right in his claim. But there are many spiritualities like Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Confucianism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, Baha’ism, Taoism and Sikhism. Since each of these spiritualities is claiming to be on the right path, it is now left for any natural man to use the only instrument ( i:e his logical reasoning) given to him by God to recognize the true spirituality in the midst of many fake spiritualities. This is exactly the reason why God must design the true spirituality in such a way that all its basic and fundamental doctrines would not be in conflict with the basic logical reasoning He bestowed upon a natural man. A fundamental true spiritual doctrine may support or be neutral to basic logical reasoning bestowed upon natural man; but they will never be in conflict with each other. How could true spirituality designed by God and basic logical reasoning originated from the same God be in conflict with each other? If they can be in conflict with each other, then how can a natural man decide whether to accept or reject a true spiritual faith in the midst of many fake spiritual faiths?

Have you now seen how Paul got it wrong by asserting that “the natural man does not receive the things of the spirit, for they are foolishness to him”? Is true spirituality not meant to be accepted and embraced by natural man? Now that it is foolishness to him; how is he going to accept and embrace it?

God created man to relate with Him through his spirit only (intuition, communion and conscience). A regenerated man can connect with his Father through his reborn spirit because Christ has made the way for him. The mind of a regenerated and redeemed man conforms to the discernment in his spirit, that's why he understands spiritual realities the natural mind can't.
Our God is an Omniscient Being who created us to be like Him, yet He is never like us because our mind is finite. God requires the full cooperation of our soul (mind, emotions and volition) to relate with us - the soul must be subject to the spirit in order to understand and experience spiritual realities from God, that's the kind of relationship He wants, not a religious one.

The natural man only needs a relationship based on FAITH with God through CHRIST to comprehend spiritual stuffs.

Absolutely wrong by all human standards but the God of the Bible doesn't think like man. God is God, He glorifies Himself through the most foolish and weakest things of this world.

Seems like the kind of help you need isn't the one God gives. I think you're looking for help outside of God but trust me, that help won't last or save you.
Accept Christ, follow Him wholeheartedly and forget about anything you think is bordering you. With time (patience), you'll forget you have any problem.
Christ is enough for you. If you receive Him into your heart and allow Him to grow in you, your adversity will shrink completely into oblivion.

The blood of Jesus is enough to justify anyone who believes in Christ's death and resurrection. You can't do anything to be holy or be right with God, only FAITH in Christ's finished work can justify us and make us righteous before God (Romans 5:1) - that's GRACE.
But grace isn't a license to continue sinning, but should propel us to do the work of righteousness through the power of the indwelling Spirit of God.

A genuine repentance is that feeling of emptiness and horror because of what you did or keep doing. A fake repentance is that feeling of horror or fear for God's judgement because of what you did or keep doing. It's only the Spirit of God in a regenerated man that can bring about a genuine repentance, so I'll advise you make way for the Holy Spirit to truly cleanse you by the blood of Jesus and start dwelling in you.
The fruit of the indwelling Holy Spirit is a genuine repentance and continuous SELF-denial (sanctification).
You didn't become born again by yourself but by FAITH, so if you must experience victory over SIN & SELF, you can't do it by yourself, but only by FAITH in the Christ's victory over SIN on the cross. When you have this FAITH, then you'll be able to reckon yourself really dead to the power and control of SIN (Romans 6:11, 14), so SIN can no longer dominate you but only the Holy Spirit of Christ who has dominion over you.

I actually experienced this sort of thing way back but I wasted many years looking for deliverance instead of God's Presence. Your goal should moving closer to God EVERYDAY - that was what I failed to do back then.
How do you move closer to God and walk with Him everyday? It's more than believing in Christ as your Lord and Saviour, it's more than claiming born again, it's more than going to church and participating actively in religious activies. If you believe you are born again, then believe you have the Holy Spirit in you to instruct, guide and comfort you at every point in time, but you really have to abide in His Word (daily Bible study), take your spiritual life seriously (your intuition and personal fellowship with God through worship and prayer).
When you are in God's Presence, your focus will be redirected towards God and everything that has to do with Him, not on what you think is your problem.
I started experiencing spiritual attacks in my last year in high school, I spent many years getting sick, going for surgeries, getting involved in accidents and complete stagnation in life but I never knew I have been delivered over 2000 years ago, that was why I was looking for deliverance everywhere. When I began following Christ in TRUTH and in SPIRIT, I stopped going to church and concentrated on my relationship with God personally, I listened to sermons online by different foreign ministers and read quite a lot of Christian books. My spiritual life has been a huge blessing and has never remained the same.

Even though I don't like him and his denomination that much, I won't put myself in a position to judge anyone the way yout just did. Weither you believe it or not, some true followers of Christ are part of his denomination. What's going on right now will help refocus their commitment to Christ rather than their denomination, that's what I mean by purification of the body of Christ and it shouldn't shock anyone.

God created a good world and created a good man with His characteristics to take care of the world in His behalf.
Think of a King who has another territory far away and then places a regent to govern that territory for Him.
The plan was (and still is) for man to depend completely on God in order to effectively carry out this purpose - taking care of the world the way God wants. Now God is a Spirit and the created man is also a spirit that has a soul (mind, emotions and will) and a body to contact the world which he lives. As long as the man (through his spirit) continues to relate regularly with God, His purpose (and man's WORK to dominate the earth) will be effective. Man's spirit can only relate with God by intuition, conscience and communion, the soul of the man is meant to take instructions from the spirit and the body is meant to carry out what has been deposited on the soul by the spirit if man is to effectively carry out God's purpose on earth. The three spiritual functions can only be actualized in Eden (God's Presence). But Satan succeeded in deceiving man into rebellion against God and man lost Eden so man could no longer relate effectively with God and His purpose was put on hold for some time until redemption.
When man lost Eden, the result was that man could no longer relate with God through his spirit so the spirit became dead to God. Man had to resort to religion in order to contact God. Moreover, the soul became subject to the body instead of the spirit. Satan uses this advantage to continue to entice man into rebellion against God and do exactly opposite what God purposed for him - disorganize and destroy the earth.
God has redeemed humanity from the chaos he inflicted upon himself and from the bondage of Satan through the life, death and resurrection of His incarnate Son - Jesus Christ. But the redemption will be fully realized after His second coming. Unfortunately, not all humans are (or will be) part of this redemption, only people who have FAITH in Christ will be.

This is your problem, inability to get understanding. Let me tell you about wisdom. Wisdom, means, making right decisions, taking them at the right time and doing them whilst remaining in good standing with God.

Now if King Solomon, who inarguably, is the wisest man who ever lived, messed up by relegating wisdom to the last, who are these men who come after King Solomon that Yesufu aka VBCampaign mentioned, hmm?. There is no comparison because it wasnt money, power, riches and wealth that corrupted King Solomon, it was the lack of appreciating sense wiseness and not anymore embracing wisdom, as the most important thing. Whether you are a Biodun Fatoyinbo, Chris Oyakhilome, David Oyedepo, or Enoch Adeboye wisdom is supreme, making right decisions, taking them at the right time and doing them whilst remaining in good standing with God, is the principal thing.

The first time I argued with him, this was exactly what I noticed about him - difficulty in understanding even simplest matters. There's no point engaging this dude in any serious matter let alone spiritual realities.

That's why the Christian Faith is the only TRUTH and Christ is the only WAY to eternal life. The real church of God will continue to thrive and wax stronger with every fiery darts the devil and the world fires at her - that's evident from history. The true body of Christ will come out purer from every controversy. Christians don't fight for their God with violence and bloodshed like religious people do but we allow God take care do His thing His own way.

You need a lot of personal time with God to know Him better. Have a Bible reading/study plan, watch sermons and read lots of christian books.

I don't attend any church either but I read ourdailybread online, follow their daily Bible study plan and read enduringword for more explanations, but I'll advise you invite the Holy Spirit to help you know the truth. Moreover, I listen to sermons and read books from Witness Nee, Keneth Hagin, John Piper, Joyce Meyer, Myles Munroe, Josh McDowell, and a lot of others. My spiritual life has been a blessing since I started doing these.

Could you be lying? As far as Living Faith is concerned Prosperity is preached in the month of prosperity, not in the Month of Wisdom or Praise, or Prayer, or Salvation, or the Holy Spirit, or Faith or Baptism. How did you come by this your postulations? Again Are you lying?

I think you should reread my post so you can understand properly and I think you're the one being emotional here.
As I posted earlier, there's absolutely nothing wrong with God’s people being wealthy but it's unChristlike to continually emphasize on acquiring material possessions and flying private jets AS A CHRISTIAN LEADER. At the same time I'm not saying a Christian must be perpetually poor financially to be like Christ even though we all pass through financial difficulties - it's unavoidably part of the Christian life if we must grow in grace.
Show me anywhere in the Bible that Jesus Christ preached about pursuing wealth, show me anywhere in the Bible where Abraham, Isaac, David, Solomon, etc prayed or worked so hard for the wealth they had. Showe me anywhere in the Bible where God blessed them with material wealth because of their hard work.
My friend, true wealth from God doesn't come from your hard work but God's GRACE, WILL & SOVEREIGNTY. God may decide to bless your WORK with wealth but it has to be according to His divine purpose
