Muslims believe that God (Allah) originally gave His revelation (the Scriptures) to Jews and Christians, but Muslims claim that those Scriptures which God originally gave to Jews and Christians became corrupted and changed, and that is why Muslims believe God called Mohammed and gave him new revelation, but all the evidence from hundreds of ancient manuscripts show that the Judeo-Christian Scriptures have been remarkably preserved. What Muslims are saying is that God (Allah) did not preserve His original revelation to Jews and Christians.

Unlike the Koran, the Christian Scriptures were written over a span of many centuries, and we have hundreds of copies of ancient manuscripts showing that there was no substantive change or alteration of God’s message over the centuries. Any so-called errors in the ancient manuscripts are not substantive and do not affect or change any Christian doctrine. There are human copying mistakes in the manuscripts, but they are minor (i.e. spelling, etc.). There are no contradictions between the manuscripts, although some manuscripts (the older ones) are more accurate. That’s all.

God preserved His Word to the Jews and Christians with more than enough accuracy in spite of the human fallibility in the copying process. The Muslims don’t even have one ancient biblical manuscript supporting what the Koran teaches about Jesus, not one.

The Jesus of the Bible is different from the Jesus of the Koran. The Muslims believe that Jesus was just a great and holy man, but not the uniquely divine Son of God who created all life and the universe as the Christian Scriptures teach.

THE TRINITY: Three divine Persons united by one eternal divine nature and purpose. Just as Adam and Eve were two persons but one flesh, so, too, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three Persons but one God. The Bible says that God is love. Love cannot be alone. Love must have an object to love. That is why God (Who is love) cannot be just one Person. The animals sacrifices for sin in the Old Testament were a picture of Christ's future sacrifice for sin. Those animal sacrifices also had to be repeated to show they are not sufficient to settle once and for all the sin issue before God. No animal can take the place of man. The New Testament teaches that Jesus Christ was uniquely the Son of God and was both completely divine and completely human. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and died a cruel death on a Roman Cross to pay the full penalty for the sins of men, and He bodily rose from the grave.

The Christian Scriptures teach that no human being can earn or merit salvation, that all our righteousness or good works is filthy rags in God’s sight. For an infinitely holy God, any sin is an infinite offense and has an infinite price. We all fall short of perfection in our thoughts, words, and deeds that God requires.

The Christian Scriptures teach that only through faith in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ can we be freely forgiven of all our sins. The Christian will never be perfect in this life, but God Himself will dwell within the true Christian and cause the Christian to do good works out of genuine love for God and his fellow man. God can be just in freely forgiving our sins when we come to Christ because His Son Jesus Christ paid the full penalty for our sins.

Just as a co-signer to a loan takes the responsibility to pay someone else’s debt so, too, Christ took the responsibility to pay the debt for the sins of others. As Adam represented and acted on behalf of the human race so, too, Christ represented and acted on behalf of all who would believe on Him, both Jew and Gentile, from every race, nation, and tribe in the world when He paid for mankind’s sins.

The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16, KJV).



Question:
If God sacrificed Jesus for our sins, then whom was He sacrificing Jesus to?


Answer:
The word “God” is a name. That name belongs to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then how can They be one God? When the Bible talks about one God it’s not a singular oneness but a composite oneness. For example, Adam and Eve were two persons but one flesh. The reason why the Father, Son, and Spirit are one God is because They share one eternal and divine nature and They work together as one for the same purpose. There’s no conflict or division among Them. They are one in nature and purpose. They are one God.

If Jesus is God why did Jesus pray to God?


Answer:
The Bible teaches that although Jesus is God, He gave up His rights as God and took upon Himself human nature and subjected Himself to God the Father. Because He emptied Himself of His rights and became Man, Jesus was fully dependent upon the Father for everything.



Question :
Why did God not spare Jesus from the Cross? If God is all powerful why can’t God just forgive us our sins without the Cross?


Answer:
God is holy and just. It would violate His nature to forgive sin without the penalty being paid. How come Muslims sacrifice animals for their sins. Why doesn’t Allah just forgive you Muslims of all your sins without animal sacrifices? If Allah is all powerful why the need for animal sacrifices? The animal sacrifices for sin in the Old Testament were a picture of Christ's future sacrifice for sin. Those animal sacrifices also had to be repeated to show they are not sufficient to settle once and for all the sin issue before God. No animal can take the place of man. Because Christ was God His life had infinite value to pay for our sins. For an infinitely holy God any sin, no matter or how small or big, is an infinite offense. Christ’s shed blood and death was able to satisfy God the Father’s infinite justice. And the bodily resurrection of Christ from the grave is proof that God the Father’s justice against us for our sins was fully satisfied.

A genuine Christian can't justify going against the only platform instituted by God for raising up a child - by a man and his wife (all things being equal). I'm a genuine christian, when I have children, I'll start preparing my boys for marriage from the age of 13 and my girls from the age of 10.

Throughout history, the Gospel of Christ's Kingdom has been spread MAINLY through persecution and righteousness NOT wealth.
Planting churches today doesn't necessarily mean spreading the Gospel of Christ's Kingdom. Increasing the number of people in your church doesn't do the Kingdom of God any good except if it's proportional with souls coming into His Kingdom - that is what churches (including your own church) aren't interested in.
If you feed a million hungry people without genuinely imparting their souls for God, then you're only doing a humanitarian service. They'll only keep attending your church without having genuine relationship with Christ, no wonder the majority of your church members are only interested in wealth and health and have little or no hunger for God's righteousness.

Agreed the term "Prosperity Gospel" was coined but let's not brush off the substance as irrelevant. The preachers of this demonic gospel of wealth and health as a must for all believers do misrepresent the real gospel of Christ which is the Gospel of His Kingdom - peace in a turbulent world. The word ‘prosper’ conveys an idea which is not in the original. The Hebrew word means to be secure, tranquil, at rest, spoken especially of one who enjoys quiet prosperity: Job 3:26; 12:6. The essential idea is that of quietness or rest, not opulence.

You have misinterpreted Zechariah 1:17. That passage has nothing to do with spreading the Gospel of Christ with prosperity. Throughout history, the Gospel of Christ's Kingdom has been spread mainly through persecution and righteousness NOT wealth.

This may sound strange to most people considering the increasing number of spiritually ignorant people in our world today, even among so called Christians. But it's the ABSOLUTE TRUTH though bitter to a lot of minds.

Genesis 1:26 is just one of the numerous places God was referred to as in multiple terms. Yet Yahweh (of Old Testament) who is Jesus Christ Himself many times referred to Himself in the singular form as a Person (I, Me) while also referring to Himself and His Father ("I and my Father" NOT "our Father" ) many times to show they are the same Being (John 10:30).
If scripture says only Almighty God is the uncreated Being (the only Self-Existing One) and the world was created through His WORD - JESUS CHRIST, it follows that Jesus was with God at creation (John 1:1), and Jesus Christ was among the US referred to in Genesis 1:26 and definitely Jesus Christ is the Almighty God in ESSENCE. Remember Jesus wasn't created.

NB: God needn't appear to His people as the Father, Son and Spirit at the same time to show that He is a Triune Being. When He appeared as the unapproachable Father, He described Himself as I AM (Exodus 3:14). When He also came to the world as the Son, He also referred to Himself as I AM (John 8:48,58)

Whatever your message meant, it's misleading and has a hint of heresy. You should have stated clearly that God can never make mistake, He is not a man and everything (both good and evil) that happens are according to His plan and purpose, so He permits them.
But the human authors of the Bible have a way of attributing human characteristics to God just to convey a message. That God walks with someone doesn't mean He has a leg. That God is angry doesn't mean that God is an emotional Being. That God regrets creating man doesn't mean He didn't know man would become the way he is, it's just a way of conveying a message of God's displeasure towards man's sinfulness. Isaiah 9.6,7 is about king Hezekiah, he was already born when Isaiah wrote that.. The passage is in present tense.. Not future tense.. "a son has been born to us.. Not a son will be... Got it now?

What happened in Acts 2 was a significant event which marked the beginning of the New Testament - the coming of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Verse 4 says they were filled (NOT BAPTIZED) and they spoke in other languages as enabled by the Spirit. The languages they spoke were well understood by the people (foreigners) around them, they didn't speak gibberish like what we hear people utter nowadays in the name of "speaking in tongues".
Everything that happened that day was significant (1 Corinthians 14:22) and doesn't mean anyone who receives the Holy Spirit MUST act likewise afterwards. The gift of speaking in tongues like other spiritual gifts is not for everyone (1 Corinthians 12:10). Speaking in spiritual language (which no one but the Spirit understands) shouldn't be done in a congregation (1 Corinthians 14:2) but speaking in other known languages can be done in a gathering but one at a time and there must be an interpreter (1 Corinthians 14:27,28), NOT THE TYPE OF SENSELESS CONFUSION THAT WE SEE IN TODAY'S CHURCHES.
