Religion doesn't necessarily help in development of any nation but I know true Christianity(not Christian religion) has been a major factor in the development of most western nations over the last 2-3 centuries.

Jesus is subject to His heavenly Father as a Person NOT in essence. Is your soul not subject to your spirit? Yet your soul and spirit are essentially the same - YOU.

Your position is not different from that of Quran and Muslims, for their main purpose is to deny that Jesus Christ is Lord.

The Holy Spirit is not giving to convict us of sin but of righteousness always. He was not giving to point out what is wrong with you but what is right with you in Christ Jesus.

The Holy Spirit is in us to tell us how righteous we are through the perfect work of Jesus Christ. We can only reign and live righteously, if we see and believe our righteousness in Christ.

the voice of the Holy Spirit does convict (show) us when we are wrong so we may confess and repent. But the devil's voice is that of condemnation.

This right there is the only reason the Quran and Bible can never be compared - they are from different sources. The Bible is divinely inspired and can only be understood through divine inspiration. Such divine inspiration can only come from God's Spirit, not from satanic spirits. While we can't underestimate the effect of our prayers for Nigeria, God needs our full cooperation to bring the much needed change.
Anyone with spiritual insight should already know that there are dark forces in charge of the affairs of the country - controlling how people think and act by influencing the govt, media, religious bodies, etc. These are the powers we must pray against while doing our little bits to influence everyone and everything around us for God's glory.

The problem you anti-Trinity preachers are having is Jesus' continued reference to His Father and also the Comforter, yet you all ignore the fact that God is One and has the power to exist in different forms and locations at the same time.

Even though the Father is greater than the Son in position (especially in regard to the incarnation), yet the Father is not greater than the Son in essence or being; They are both equally God.

The whole concept of tithing is based on a Principle - Giving to support God's work. Now, whether you give 5%, 10% or 100% of your income to a local church where you attend or a missionary organization that God has used to bless you, it's up to you to follow the leading of the Spirit behind the Principle.

NB: It's not by force to tithe your income, no devourer is coming after your finances because we are under grace not under law but there is always a blessing attached to being faithful to God in any way.

You should ask the Holy Spirit who inspired the writers to inspire you too to understand those texts. They're not storybooks or history books, they're for our learning and knowing more about the principles of the God we serve.
You'll need to overcome the time barrier for you to fully understand why God allowed so many things to happen which we at this period of time see as weird or savage.

NB: Without understanding the old testament, you can't properly understand the new testament and it's requirements. Everything that happened and every law given in the OT has a significance in the NT, hence in our own era.

What about those who try to "bribe God" with their gifts and prayers so He can "bless" them even if it's against His will?

What about those "men of God" laying bad examples for the young ones when it comes to getting rich and living large?

What about the politicians and fraudsters who "feel at home" in these congregations and even pay huge sums as tithes and offerings from their stoles wealth?

What about those "men of God" who frolic with these diabolic politicians and turn their congressions into political parties because of money and power?

They believe their private jets and wealthy lifestyles glorify God, but they refuse to see and let the world know that the symbol of Christianity is a CROSS and not a PRIVATE JET.

Are the pastors' ministries more important than Jesus' mission? Jesus Christ could have acquired horses, donkeys, camels and chariots for His mission but He chose to live an exemplary life for us to follow as His desciples.

God in His sovereignty can decide to bless anyone with so much finacial wealth but He expects His children to be humble and use His resources squarely for His purpose not for fame and comfort where there is so much poverty, moral decadence and spiritual darkness.

There is a lot left to be done in the Great Commission especially in reaching out to Arab and African Muslim world to help bring many of them into the Light instead of wasting resources on meaningless private jets that don't add any value to the God's mission except for their own personal comforts.

All you've succeeded in doing is to contradict yourself, unless if you really mean there are two Gods (which is impossible). The whole of the Bible is replete with evidence that Jesus Christ is the same God(Yahweh) of the old testament, who manifested in different forms to the Jewish people at different times before the incarnation at Bethlehem just over 2000 years ago. He is the same Holy Spirit manifesting in the lives of everyone who believes in Him from the day of Pentecost till date.

But the submission of Jesus to the Father doesn’t come from any inherent inferiority; instead, it comes from the administrative order of the Godhead. A son is always in submission to his father, even if both are “equal” in substance.
Simply put, God the Father will always be God the Father , and God the Son will always be God the Son , and for all eternity they will continue to relate to each other as Father and Son.

I want to believe OP isn't a Bible believer, else, you should know curses are effective as deserved. You can't hurt someone so bad and expect not to be affected if he/she decides to curse you.
Generational curses are effective provided the affected isn't in Christ or continues to commit the offense that incurred the curse on his/her ancestors.

How can any human being function well without reading, studying and living the Bible. The Bible is the only manual for the most complex product (man) by the Eternal Manufacturer (God).
We humans can never function properly outside the working conditions as written in our Manual (Word of God).

My former pastor believes that faith is a means to getting whatever you want from God ... ... My latter pastor credits his progress in life to God and his wonderful sovereignty, and not merely to his faith.

This is the mistake most prosperity preachers are making and that's why many fraudsters and politicians flood their congregations. Their belief is "I want money and fame, God must give it to me because I believe in Him". But true christianity demands that we submit to God's sovereignty and will in all our endeavours.

I will still continue to say that Nigerians deserve the type of leaders they get. Until the young people in this country are ready to take to streets and shut down government over corruption and government irresponsibility like we've seen in other serious countries, Nigeria will continue to be a chess game in the hands of politicians

If you must understand the Bible, don't pick out just one verse or chapter out of a whole book. Study through the whole book of Corinthians, try to understand the geographical, time and cultural barriers between us and Paul's recipient.
Head covering by women in Jewish culture was a way the women honour their husbands, fathers and other men they come across. Paul was writing the Corinthians to correct a lot of anomalies and misbehaviour in the church, especially by the women.
I don't believe Paul was making a universal commandment for all women in all geographical locations, cultures and at all times.
