As much as I love Pastor Oyemade's sermons, I disagree with him on this. What if you make all the "right moves" and have all the "right tools", yet not able to succeed? What if there are some spiritual dark forces against your progress and success? Yes God's Grace teaches us and enables us to make wise choices, but a lot of people have have been taught by the best in the world and have made the wisest choices available to humanity, yet couldn't progress or get to where they need to be until they began to place themselves in God's plans and will. Simply put, some people can never make headway in life unless they begin to follow God's purpose and it only takes God's special Grace to know and pursue His purpose.

We can't underestimate the need for God's Grace if we must go through life's most difficult challenges and come out successful. There are different levels of Grace for each of us, some need little grace without too much effort to succeed while others need a whole lot of grace. Still some people can never make it through with all their efforts without God's grace.

Majority of these people may actually be innocent. If you haven't been arrested by Nigerian police before, you'll not understand.

Yes regeneration has to happen before indwelling. Today, indwelling of the Spirit starts immediately after regeneration - the event in the upper room was a significant one for everyone present at that time and it doesn't often happen that way today.

The Bible(Word of God) is Spirit and can be written in books or phone applications. As long as God is using His Word (whether through phone or book) to write His Principles on your heart, the media doesn't matter. Being born of water and of the Spirit is the preparatory work for His indwelling. These two actions often happen at the same time though mostly not felt immediately. Of what use is His regeneration without His indwelling? What happened in the upper room is for the sign to be seen by everyone and it doesn't happen often that way today.

I can relate so well with this. Growing up in a core pentecostal Christian home, where prayer and bible study were taken seriously. Even though the phrase "born-again" was a daily thing, I never really believed I was born-again even though my lifestyle was a lot different from those of my folks - at home and at school. I've never really experienced any dramatic supernatural change as I always hear people who newly got born-again usually do.

I discovered later in life that all the while I didn't believe the Holy Spirit lives in me, He has always been there but I thought I had to be perfect(sinless) if I were truly born-again. When I attend some churches on invitation and I am asked to fill the new-comers form, I always see the space for "When did you become born again?", I just reply "I DON'T KNOW"

Does it glorify God? If it doesn't, then don't let those carnally minded folks deceive you into displeasing God. The only sexual practice that pleases and glorifies God is that which you engage with your wife.

The problem you anti-Trinity preachers are having is Jesus' continued reference to His Father and also the Comforter, yet you all ignore the fact that God is One and has the power to exist in different forms and locations at the same time.

Even though the Father is greater than the Son in position (especially in regard to the incarnation), yet the Father is not greater than the Son in essence or being; They are both equally God.

The whole concept of tithing is based on a Principle - Giving to support God's work. You should ask the Holy Spirit who inspired the writers to inspire you too to understand those texts. They're not storybooks or history books, they're for our learning and knowing more about the principles of the God we serve.
You'll need to overcome the time barrier for you to fully understand why God allowed so many things to happen which we at this period of time see as weird or savage.

NB: Without understanding the old testament, you can't properly understand the new testament and it's requirements. Everything that happened and every law given in the OT has a significance in the NT, hence in our own era.
