Politics › Re: How Yahaya’s Appointment Questions Buhari’s Commitment To Federal Character by Uchedeformula: 12:41pm On May 28, 2021 |
Antoeni: The nation has 4 Military Service Chiefs. 2 are from the South and 2 are from the North.
The CDS is the overall Military boss, with the 3 other Service Chiefs, including the COAS, reporting to him.
1) Chief of Defence Staff: General Lucky Irabor. Delta State, (Igbo heritage).
2) Chief of Army Staff: Major General Farouk Yahaya. Sokoto State.
3) Chief of Naval Staff: Rear Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo. Kano State.
4) Chief of Air Staff: [Air-Vice Marshal Ishiaka Oladayo Amao. Osun State.
Contrary to the misinformation being peddled, the COAS is not higher in position than the CDS. The CDS is the top Military Man in Nigeria, answering only to the President who is C-In-C.
The nation has probably become aware of the work of COAS, because of the war against terrorism, and the role of the Army in that battle.
That however does not make COAS the Military head of the Armed Forces.
It is also important to note that the Military is not just the Army. The Military comprises the Army, Airforce and Navy.
The 4 men pictured are the top Military officers we have, and are in charge of fighting the war against terrorism.
Whether we support or detest the Government, our Military deserves our support. Boss, CDS is just a ceremonial position just like the Queen of England. The executive powers lies with the other 3 Chiefs of the 3 respective armed forces. Buhari can never hold CDS liable for whatever happens in the Army, Navy or Airforce, unless of course for special duties overseen by or assigned to the CDS office. Even the officers serving in the CDS office are posted by the 3 respective Chiefs. If you know, you know. |
Anything to move Nigeria forward is all we want.
We want a Nigeria of our dreams.
God bless Nigeria.
We Rise!
May be you forgot Sir!
God bless our darling President Maj.Gen Mohammadu Buhari (RTD) and his amiable Vice President Prof Yemi Osibanjo for the good work they are doing to move our darling country forward.
If only Nigerians supported GEJ's full deregulation of the downstream sector about 10years ago, we wld have been better for it today. This same Buhari led the campaign against it, he was at the forefront of the campaign of calumny, arguing that our refineries can be fixed and made to function optimally. Today, how many years down the line after he took over, none of our national refineries have produced even one tanker of products.
I am not one of those that will stand against Buhari because he fought against the same policy while he was on the other side of the divide. No No No. This deregulation is long over due. I employ all Nigerians to welcome it, and support this APC's administration so that we can get it done once and for all. If we defer it today, we will still come to it tomorrow, with much more pain that we wld have had if we allowed it today.
Total deregulation is the key, let's support it. Tell your neighbours, colleagues, friends and family members to key into it today. That way, we can thwart the resistance these good for nothing and politicians-hijacked NLC and TUC normally bring forth whenever Nigeria wants to record a major breakthrough and turnaround.
In ' voice,
God bless Nigeria
I rise.....never to fall again. |

AlabiJ: But Bayelsa is currently being ruled by a 'Supreme Court governor' after APC clearly won the election. Yes Sir, you are right. But in the case of Bayelsa, the deputy governorship candidate was disqualified on the basis of forged and inconsistent certificates which is fraudulent according to the law. The law judgement invalidated the APC candidature, and as such the APC is as good as not having candidates in the election. So, the next highest vote carried the day. So you see, it different from Imo state where the THIRD became FIRST without the disqualification of any Party's candidate. Indeed, Hop Uzodimma is the one, only and truly supreme court governor all over the world. |

Well, if higher courts uphold the majority judgement, APC will have to support another political party's candidate who will eventually decamp to APC if he/she wins - just like the 2019 scenario in Rivers State gubernatorial election. They package money into peak milk cartoon Indomie carton Gesha carton
U will think it's food there are giving. It's dollars and Naira therein.
He returned it. Was the cartoon not sealed? Was it open?
Even the shop owner, the carton wasn't for him.
Anyway, during military regime, it's peak milk carton when u visit them. They will say, give him one carton of milk. Get home and open it, it is not milk but dollars or highest domination.
Civilian uses indomin carton, duvey blanket, gesha carton. This was what happened Sir: The good man bought less than a carton of indomie. So, the shop worker in his usual way of using an empty carton to package such quantity, mistakenly used the carton containing money. Loaded the indomie packs into it, and handed it over to the honest man, who didn't realize either until he got home. The kind man didn't purchase full carton of indomie. God bless that man for me. joey150: But, But, why was 1.8 million naira inside an indomie carton in the first place?
On second thought....
Was the indomie carton sealed or not? How can a sealed indomie carton have 1.8 million naira in it?
Again, if it wasn't sealed, why would anybody buy indomie in an unsealed carton?
Even if it was unsealed, did the seller not check the content at all throughout the transaction?
Let's pretend the seller was careless, did the buyer not bother for one second to look into the unsealed indomie carton before walking away from the store?
I'm just one of those people that like to question everything they hear. The good man bought less than a carton of indomie. So, the shop worker in his usual way of using an empty carton to package such quantity, mistakenly used the carton containing money. IamCookie: Commonly called the Oransaye report, the 800-paged report had recommended the abolishment and merging of 102 government agencies and parastatals.
It was recommended to Jonathan's administration but he lacked the political will, and not Jonathan's administration recommending it to Buhari's . Madam, the truth is that no Administration in Naija can implement such recommendation in its first term. Absolutely not feasible because downsizing will step on many toes and pose threats to re-election. I personally believe that if Jonathan had won 2nd term, he would have implemented it. With due respect Ma'am, this is Nigeria. Our political terrain is very sensitive. And if you study our history very well you will realize that radical decisions are made by Civilian Presidents and Governors often in their 2nd tenure. It's a norm, and wise politicians play by this rule. |

ever heard of H1N1. It was 100 times worse and no one noticed. This virus is real but the severity of the situation has been blown way out of proportion for political reasons. The constitution was too much trouble and needed to be scrapped. They have succeeded.
Crazy world we are living in right now. Almost makes you wonder if something else isn’t brewing while everyone is preoccupied with this Coronavirus.
That is precisely what all of us should be thinking. Coronavirus isn't what it seems; the timing is too convenient and the numbers don't wash. Follow the timeline, the locations, places most affected, and you'll start to see the picture. Some of it is connected to the Epstein/Weinstein/Clinton/Winfrey (YES! WINFREY) sex-trafficking ring. Weinstein was recently sentenced to 55 years for perving on CONSENTING women and his sentence was reduced to 23 years as the result of a plea deal. Following his sentencing, several billionaire CEO's have resigned and multiple celebrities and politicians have suddenly "contracted the virus." There will be more resignations, more sudden (and convenient) celebrity/politician infections in an effort to save face. 600 people were recently arrested in a sex trafficking/corruption investigation that has spanned nearly 20 years. On the other side of the coin, the data doesn't add up. We have no way to confirm the number of infections and deaths the media is reporting. Just as China has completely manufactured the nature of the virus and their recovery, the government and media are deliberately fabricating the number of infections and deaths to push for a "vaccine" that will actually cause more sickness and death than their supposed virus (which wasn't a virus). Understand this: the vaccine is the actual goal, not curbing the virus. The media is deliberately strewing the data and drumming up public hysteria to push this goal forward. Do some research on 5G frequencies and their effect on the human body, and you'll see China's "virus." Wake up, people. We are witnessing one of the largest scale False Flag psy-ops we've seen in decades. More than 50,000 die from influenza each year and the media is completely silent yet, the entire nation is facing imminent lockdown and the media is pimping hysteria non-stop over a virus with a 98% recovery rate, with zero evidence to support their data. If you're not smelling something fishy by now, you need your heads examined. Stop listening to the media. Turn off your tv, put down the phone, and stop falling for the lie we're being fed. It's NOT a pandemic! |

PDP has no choice than to "take am like dat".
We all witnessed how PDP did their many abracadabra too. In fact, APC is still a learner where PDP dey operate.
Let me give a few examples of past PDP wayo-wayo victories:
1. Wike "scoring" over 280,000 votes in his local govt (but awarded about 7k votes to his opponent) to be re-elected in 2019 when the presidential election didn't record a fifth of that votes in same LG.
2. PDP procuring court judgment to deny APC in participating in Rivers gubernatorial election.
3. Many instances during OBJ and GEJ where PDP would record 100% voters turnout in their strongholds and award 99% of the total votes to themselves. We saw the same trend even in 2015 and 2019 general elections.
4. I don't know if any party has killed innocent electorate for daring to align with an opposition party than PDP in Rivers, Bayels and othe SS/SE regions especially. We saw life photos of severed head of a grown APC leader (still struggling for life) in 2015. That gory image flashes back once in a while.
5. Maurice Iwu, working for PDP announced winner of presidential election while voting was still ongoing.
I can go on and on to prove that PDP deserves anything and everything that befalls it.
LASTLY, DEMOCRACY IS A SCAM FOR AFRICA, ESPECIALLY NIGERIA. WE ARE VERY MANIPULATIVE AND THAT'S HOW IT WILL REMAIN. LET NO ONE BE IN DOUBT! |

Honestly, I don't know what is wrong with Nigerians! PDP rigged massively in their 16years reign, no doubts, we all saw it, infact it's a recorded truth. My pain now is that many Nigerians are holding on to this to support APC to rig now that they are in power. Now tell me, are we better off? We shd condemn election rigging in its totality not minding our political/candidature affiliation. If we support APC to rig while in power, the result is clear: we are going back to d PDP era of misrule and impunity (under APC in this case). But if we condemn rigging today, whichever party takes over power tomorrow will be mindful of out dislike for rigging. Don't forget "two wrongs don't make a right". Believe me, in d end we are either d gainers or d losers, depending on our resolution today. Let's not support APC to rig d forthcoming elections because PDP rigged before 2015. Let's condenn rigging outrightly my people. Trust me, we will start getting it right.
I do not support APC, I do not support PDP. I am a neutral citizen. I only support responsible candidates. So APC and PDP supporters don't come for my head. No matter d party/person you support, election rigging can never bring about a better Nigeria we yarn for.

I know somebody might claim that most schools are state government owned and control. Don't forget also that the students therein aren't Federal Government's either. So, I think the school feeding program is the least important effort at revamping primary education in Nigeria. It should be discontinued. Let's parents feed their children/wards, and let Governments fix other problems in our education sector. |

No historical knowledge of d Bible. Op thesicilian: Jesus Christ did not say it is impossible for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, he only said it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God. Both may be difficult, but very possible. What He was referring to by "eye of a needle" was a small city gate through which camels and other animals had to struggle to pass when the main gates were already locked. |
