doyin13:
BELLO ADOKE san. . .

'One legal scholar described Adoke as “a weak lawyer who was elevated to the status of SAN on the recommendation of former Attorney General of Nigeria, Bayo Ojo.” The next year, Justice Katsina-Alu enthroned Adoke as a member of a privileges committee that decides which lawyers are to be made Senior Advocates. Katsina-Alu’s choice of Adoke caused widespread condemnation in legal circles in Nigeria.'

JESUS WEPT. . .
looks like we should expect someone worse than Aondoaaka

Rattle snake is one of the my best nollywood movies. Concerning the fact that ur list comprises of old movies is no fault of urs, they made better movies in the past, I wonder if what some of them do now would be called acting.

My thoughts exactly, imagine giving pension to a thief that's stolen enough. Finally, NASS seems to be waking up.

PoliticsRe: LSHA Gives Fashola Go Ahead To Donate $1M To Haiti by ucnduka(f): 12:06pm On Jan 20, 2010
I cannot believe Nigerians are shouting because of the N150,000,000 that the lagos government is donating to haiti. Is that not the same amount a serving minister of education spent for his wedding anniversary while schools were closed down? I don't understand nigerians, do we prefer this money to be in the pockets of politicians or used for a noble cause like this one? Agreed that lagos state has her problems like every other state in nigeria but the problems have always been there and would always be there as long as corruption continues to thrive and not because we decided to help a fellow black nation in times of need. What is N150 million, lets not allow selfishness and poverty cloud our sense of compassion.

PoliticsRe: Vp Jonathan's Life In Danger by ucnduka(f): 5:35pm On Jan 18, 2010
So the vice president's life is in danger because of power outages, no water supply and network failure? If that's the case the lives of over 140 million Nigerians are in danger. The company should even go ahead and make the roads in aso rock filled with pot holes so that if he eventually becomes the president he would not be told that power failure, bad roads etc are a major headache for Nigerians. Danger ko, danger ni! PDP next scene!

Christianity EtcRe: Haiti's Earth Quake Occured Because Haiti Signed A Pack With The Devil by ucnduka(f): 4:12pm On Jan 17, 2010
Omobadan, I don't know if u have really seen people use voodoo because if u have u won't be saying voodoo is not evil. I even find it funny that people even practice such in this age. Agreed, all religions involve one sacrifice or the other but u cannot say that the sacrifices of voodooism have brought any good thing for both the worshippers and their neighbours. Seriously, would u like a juju priest as a neighbour? Funny enough alot of people even here on NL fear people involved in voodoo have u ever wondered why?
Christianity EtcRe: Haiti's Earth Quake Occured Because Haiti Signed A Pack With The Devil by ucnduka(f): 2:42pm On Jan 17, 2010
It is rather unfortunate that this kind of disaster occured in Haiti, but I an so pissed to think that anybody would attribute it to God. Please, NL leave God out of it, there is no evil in God . Natural disasters are bound to happen as the scriptures predicted so I'm not so surprised it could be Nigeria tomorrow. Whether, Haiti brought it on themselves or not, the lesson is as long as this world remains good and bad things would continue to occur. Concerning, the pact with the devil, if trully such a thing occured then the Haitians should learn that he who dines with the devil should eat with a long spoon as his gifts do not come without sorrows. Pat Robertson gave his opinion and I believe there is still freedom of speech, if u think his statement is foolish ignore him but that those not change the fact that evil is evil whether u call it voodoo or african religion.
Music/RadioRe: Why Do Nigerian Artists Have Poorly Written Songs? by ucnduka(f): 2:20pm On Jan 16, 2010
I think this poor lyrics thing is a worldwide phenomenon and I believe it's because a lot of young folks who patronise these artistes do not have the ears and patience to listen to good lyrics instead they prefer songs they can dance 'alanta' to. As long as the beat is good people will buy the cd even if all the artiste is saying is dem mama, kolomental, swagga and other nonsense. Bottomline, we enjoy mediocrity.

Music/RadioRe: Who Is The Current Best Gospel Artiste In Nigeria? by ucnduka(f): 12:11pm On Jan 04, 2010
Frank Edwards is doing great now, I think Eben is tight. I quite agree with u that gospel music is declining, alot of so-called gospel artistes in naija have become entertainers instead of ministers.
