Please note that this write up is for muslims alone. There are muslims who are usually being preached to by their friends/neighbours to convert to christianity. Its a common thing here that when a Christian wants you to convert to his religion, his first move is to be very nice to you and later followed by preaching with lots of love and care. Most muslims are usually deceived by these acts especially those who might not know some basic facts in comparative studies. There are many topics you can choose from to challenge a Christian. I will just go into THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE BIBLE since that's the center of reference to what he might want to talk about. |
daontop: if u've bin readin my post u would hav understood wot i ve bin sayn bt i guess u are'nt; dat d Nigeria state is a secar state.. yes d xmas tree nd all dat.. bt do u no dat d same fed govt spend alot to make sure Muslims in Nigerian go 2mecca all in d name of hajj? hw many christians hav dey sponsord 2 rome, jerusalem etc?.. wel i am nt tryn 2defend govt bt my own opinion is dat d govt knowin dat Nigeria being an multi ethnic nd religion state shld.nt in any way or form support any group...bt if an individual in govt who may b d president or his vice decides to erect an xmas tree in his name or his family...mst it be termd "supressing islam?" u may tink pple hate ur religion bt dey dnt bt rather wot dey dislike is d way d followers of d religion treat issues witout d others at heart... i could remember around 1986 durin d reign of gen. baba*****, He registered Nigeria in d Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC).. hw many pple complaind or came up to challenge him? Gen. Abacha did d same.. Bt i am sure if Nigeria is termd "A CHRISTIAN NATION" nt even registerd as 1.. i mean boko haram would hav bin a smal case cos i am pretty sure we wil be havn a bigger boko haram....Am sorry if my words were offensive..bt seriously we can talk abt dis ol day. D case of hajj is different. In xtrianity, its nt compulsory for a xtian to visit rome(correct me if am wrong), and d govmnt sponsor both parties..its nt jst muslims alone(correct me if am wrong), so hw is dis impertial? Wot am sayn is d use of hijab a bad tn? Wot negatv effect does it av ? I knw u wil come up wt it has 2 b uniform since its sch uniform....u shd also knw dat, uniform is what we agreed 4 it 2 b..if its nt going against any moral value of a society, y shd it b opposed evn when its a compulsory act on d people involved...in islam, if u are under d rule of a xtian( like d sch was a private sch owned by a xtian), defintly, as a muslim, if u must follow d injuctions of ur faith, u wd av 2 leave d sch and find smwhere else u can av such freedom except otherwise.....nw, dis sch is a state/federal govnmnt sch and its neither xtians' nor muslims'..so y shd d muslims b stoppped..smbdy said, hw abt evry oda set of religion bringn dia cultures 2 sch bt let's look at it dis way. For d celestial church 4 example, u only where ur white garmnt wen going 2 church and as soon as u bak, dats d end...hijab is an ol tym wear...d truth is as soon is d sound of islam comes in, no bdy is willing 2 compromise....is there any xtian practise dat muslims av tried 2 prevent d xtians from doing as long as its their doctrine....islam is a religion of peace...media has its own impact in ol of dis in portrayn islam as against peace both nationaly and internationly... |
daontop: nyc write up... i also wnt u 2ans dis 4me...do d lord chosens wear thr orange-green apronlike cloth on daily basis; to work, travel, drive, eat, play? i guess ur ans is yes.... if u wnt d state 2cancel skul uniform 4skul pupils nd evrybdy shld wrar mufti... fyn by me bt nt wen thr is a standard nd because of ur religious belifs, u wnt 2bend it 2suit u, den u r wrong.... thr re countless islamic skuls in lagos whr u can go 2whr u can wear dat 24/7 witout being questnd..Well, I dnt comprehend wot u are saying bt talkn abt standards, mayb u shd tel ur fed govmnt to kp up 2 standards by nt supressing a religion, yl promotn d oda..xtmas tree, does dat wring a bell? Look my dear...dis is jst pure hatred towards islam. ...somtyms, sentiments block d way of reasoning of some people |
BetaThings: One thing Christians don't understand is that Muslims are human beings too and though you might think our IQ is very low, but the little brain Allah has given us makes us KNOW that you are waging war/discriminating against MuslimsMay Allah reward you for this. Couldn't have said it better |
femi4: Its my pleasure!Hey bro, tnx 4 d goodwork. May God reward u abundantly. Can u also help me wt mine.my pin is 278A7EDF |
What does it mean to b born again? Is that the only way to c d kingdom of God? |
You might say: “I want to repent, but my sins are many indeed. There is no kind of immoral act, no kind of sin, imaginable or otherwise, that I have not committed. It is so bad that I do not know if Allaah can forgive me for the things that I have done over the years.” In response, I would tell you that this is not a unique problem; it is one that is shared by many of those who wish to repent. Let me give you the example of a young man who asked this question once. He began his career of sin at a very early age, and by the time he was only seventeen, he already had a long record of committing every kind of immoral act, major and minor, with all kinds of people, old and young alike. He had even abused a little girl. Added to this was a long list of thefts. Then he said: “I have repented to Allaah. I now pray tahajjud some nights, and I fast every Monday and Thursday, and I read Qur’aan after Fajr prayers. Will my repentance be of any avail?” The guiding principle for us Muslims is to refer to the Qur’aan and Sunnah when we look for rulings, solutions and remedies. When we refer this matter to the Qur’aan, we find that Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Say: ‘O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allaah, verily Allaah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. And turn in repentance and in obedience with true faith to your Lord and submit to Him…” [al-Zumar 39:53-54]. This is the answer to this particular problem. The matter is quite clear and needs no further explanation. The feeling that one’s sins are too great to be forgiven by Allaah stems from a number of factors: The absence of certain faith on the part of the slave in the vastness of Allaah’s mercy A lack of faith in the ability of Allaah to forgive all sins Weakness in one aspect of the heart’s action, namely hopee Failure to understand the effect of repentance in wiping out sins inshaAllah, this points will be answered. “… and My Mercy embraces all things…” [al-A’raaf 7:156] It is sufficient to quote the saheeh hadeeth qudsi: “Allaah says: “Whoever knows that I am able to forgive all sins, I shall forgive him, and I shall not mind, so long as he does not associate anything with Me.’” (Reported by al-Tabaraani in al-Kabeer, and by al-Haakim; Saheeh al-Jaami’, 4330).. This refers to when the slave meets his Lord in the Hereafter. (Reported by al-Tirmidhi; Saheeh al- Jaami’, 4330).. This refers to when the slave meets his Lord in the Hereafter. (Reported by al-Tirmidhi; Saheeh al- Jaami’, 4338).. (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “The one who repents from his sin is like the one who did not sin in the first place.” (Reported by Ibn Maajah; Saheeh al- Jaami’, 3008). |
Babadeen: Did I say that I reject the hijab? Why the lies?U dnt reject hijab yet u feel white garment xtrians shd wear dias 2 sch too cos muslims are allowed 2 wear hijab..stop bn hypocritical..stick 2 ur words, its a 1 way issue, u eida here or there. |
Babadeen: I did not read past that comment in bold....shows that you are a liar.Yeh..sowi abt dat, dat was a mistake from me, it shd av bn niqab nt turban..but is dat ol u av 2 say abt my reply? I asked u questions and u only pointed out my mistake which I admit....anyway, am nt surprised, guys wt invalid argumnts tend 2 run away/ or shy from d questions when dey are speechless...its nt ur fault..I understand...but if u must say anytn else, u shd pls ansa my question dat I asked at d endn of my previous post |
Babadeen: If it is worn for worship, it is a dressing code. You just contradicted yourself. You need to start reasoning.Like u said"white garment person can choose" we dnt choose, we were asked and its compulsory...by d way, y is it so hard 4 u 2 accept hijab....is it a bad dressing code..is anytn wrong wt it? I rili want 2 knw ur personal view |

Babadeen: If it is worn for worship, it is a dressing code. You just contradicted yourself. You need to start reasoning. It is compulsory for a muslim lady to wear hijab always, nt turban...is it compulsory for 1 2 wear his white garment, wt white cap and bare footed in xtrianity no..any1 hu does dat is because he choose to. Not because its compulsory...similar way u dnt c muslims sayn d males must b allowed to wear cap/turban 2 schools cos we knw its not compulsory...equally, muslims dnt fight for wearn of niqab cos its nt compulsory too...I ask u dis, is it compulsory for a xtian 2 wear his white garment( celestial way) daily irrespective of where he is going? If yes, pls gv me proof from ur bible...am jst tryn 2 b very straightfoward here |
Prince Justice: Years ago People complained that these "men of God" are very poor: how can they claim to be "men of God" and can't boast of a good shoe or cloth.Na wa 4 u ooooh..pls can u gv us a proof where people complained dat men of God are poor..its really funny |
chief batiatus: So what the muslims are saying is that its their right to wear hijab in school? Okay please can any muslim in the house tell me what he or she thinks if white garment church also come for their right to wear white cap on the uniform? Then followed by traditionalists like where am from who wear red cap, so can they exercise their own right too? Then and so on and so forth the state begins to grant all religious groups their rights in the public school dress code, so in the end will there be need for a uniform? So please one of you muslims tell usAv already ansad one of u wt similar comments like urs..it wd do u good 2 check it out |
daontop: coolheed:Nyc write up..but I want u to ansa ds 4 me...do white garment xtrians where dia garment on daily basis; to work, travel, drive,eat,play,......? Am sure d ansa is NO...but guess what....muslims wear hijab always, its nt jst 4 worship places alone..beat dat |
webcityng: I ATTEND WHITE GARMENT CHURCH4 God sake, pls reason like a human. Hijab is worn by muslims irrespectv of place and event...u av seen presenters on national tv using veil or hijab....d white garment is worn for worship nt a dressing code...I ask u dis, can u also wear d white garment/ bare footed to ur work area too..dnt b ridiculous |

Y french in cameroun?are there no frenches in 9ja...y take dem 2 cameroun...can't we c sm1 is tryn to cos trouble btwn 3 countriees..anyway, I thnk smtn is fishy here |

Was there 'islam violence ' as u claim....d last tym I checked, saudi arabia is an islamic country, dat practises sharia 4 dat mata.....I gues dia isn't peace dia too..its violence tooo....open ur eyes and look @ d world in 3D, 2D ddoesnt gv a beta view |
Nacl: ITS A CURSE AS LONG AS ISLAM REMAINS VIOLENT ON THE INNOCENT!! I FIND IT DIFCULT TO RATIONALIZE HOW ONE THINKS HE IS FIGHTING FOR 'ALLAH'.How is islam violent on the innocent....seriously I wd think u are shallow(sori 2 say) in thnkn to evn blv dat islam teaches any1 to do ol dis kilings...y do u guys always pick som mischievious persons in d community and portray dem as examplary muslims..I dare u to point out a single verse either in d quran or teachings of the prophet muhammad (SAW) that preaches violence....if u dnt knw abt wot islam teaches, u shd ask...in islam, pointn a metal or any harmful object @ anybody is unlawful nt to talk of kilin sm1..d punishmnt 4 takn ur ownlife is hell....wot do u evn knw abt islam....or do u take dis terrorists dat claim 2 b muslims as scholars in islam...numerous tyms non-muslims av bn caught also in dis terrorism issue...yet u choose 2 paint islam wt d crimes..may Allah show u d light.ameen |
Nacl: THE CURSE OF ISLAM GOES ON... ANYWAY, ITS NO LONGER SURPRISING.Am nt surprised..its nt d first time av heard smtn like dis..islam is d solution to d problems of humanity, weda u lyk it or not. And its nt a curse...nxt tym, I wd appreciate if u cld bak up ur statemnt wt proof..hw is islam a curse? Rememba d question, again: hw is islam a curse? |
My thinking now is that some countries are bent on formenting sectarian war in Nigeria in order to justify intervention and grab our oil. One world power had predicted that Nigeria will disintegrate by 2015 and I see the plan in the works. Just think of it, how come this Boko Haram is faceless, so sophisticated in their executions and no known member has ever been apprehended (I stand to be corrected). We know that some Islamist groups can be indirectly guided from the shadows by some intelligence agencies without their knowing. We have seen that in Iraq and Syria. Now that Middle East oil may not be dependable because of the ongoing saga with Iran, dont you think that Nigeria's oil, the largest producer in Africa, will make a good replacement?- 2011 ...like I stated earlier...its my own point of view, if yours contradict mine, you don't have to insult me. |
[quote author=gboss4sure]They should wait till France bombard them as they are doing to their brothers in mali. Na then them go understand that they don't have sympathizer in the France military like they have in Nigeria military.[/quote Na wa 4 u oh, are u evn a 9jerian at ol..hu wil d french bombard? Nxt tym some1 wants 2 fool around talkn abt d 72 virgins bla bla bla...I wd like d idiot 2 gv me proof from d qur'an or hadith where its stated dat a muslim murderer is entiitled to 72 virgins in the afterlife....if u dnt av a valid proof, and u talk abt 72 virgins again, same way, u av tried to disfigure ones religion so shall anytn u do in dis lyf wil b useless...am so angry ryt nw...am a muslim, and av neva bn taught any 72 virgins for murder, I wonder where the non muslims are ggettn dis crap from...its prohibited in islam to evn point a dangerous object on sm1, nt to talk of kil...evn killing urself is unlawful..pls I appeal to dos sayn dis to stop..frEedom of speech becomes valiid wen dia are proofs nt 'hear say' |

Elueme: Which agreement are we talking here? Back door lame, informal arrangement that has no constitutional bearing or what? How does this affect the constitution of the federal republic and the eligibility of a candidate contesting elections as enshrined in the constitution. This move get to buttress the evil and cunniness of the northern governors who capitalized on the precarious situation of the president in the last general election to arm twist him into an Okija Like agreement. This desperate move by Aliyu and his clique is dead before arrival because the president like any other person is eligibly bound by the federal constitution to have a re- election and whatever, informal, verbal or written agreement he had with some persons are immaterial as far as good governance is concerned.Na wa 4 u oooh...evry individual has d ryt 2 run 4 presidential sit as long as u meet d requirments. Howeva, u run for a sit through a party...u had an agreemnt wt ur pary dat u wd go 4 a term only....to us nigerians, he can run 4 anoda tenure, bt he needs 2 go tru a party..if he had an agreement, he shd honour it. Honuring it wnt gv hm d chance 2 run in dat same party, so he shd eida, join anoda party or form anoda if he stil wishes 2 go 4 anoda tenure. So its simple as ABC..I c no reason y. Guys are blaming d northern governors woteva...no body wd b foolish enof 2 challenge him if he had no proof...uneeded smtn and I gave u conditions, and nw u dnt want 2 honour it afta gvn u wot u needed? Wot a personality |
Adejoro74: Like the Babalakin Management Company (Bi-Courtney) which embezzled billions of fed money earmarked for Lagos-Ibadan road, and still remains one of the most respected Yorubaman by Yorubas, abi? You lots are very shameless.... If dias 1 tn in lyf av learnt is dat, u dnt gv up on smtn simply because it was tried b4 and dnt work out well. Y nt try it again wt dffrnt approach? Are u saying evry1 is like Bi-courtney? It wasn't necessary 2 include" u lots are vry shameless" |
The mystery over President Goodluck Jonathan’s alleged agreement with northern governors of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in 2011 not to contest the 2015 presidential election deepened, yesterday. Governor Babangida Aliyu of Niger State, who blew the lid on the issue, it was learnt, had warned his close associates and top aides not to comment on the matter. It was also learnt yesterday, that the governor may have been mandated to make the revelation on behalf of northern governors. Governor Aliyu is chairman of Northern Governors Forum. Alhaji Tanko Yakassi, one of the leading members of the Northern Political Leaders Forum, NPLF, told Vanguard, yesterday, that an attempt by the forum to get the president to concede the 2015 presidential ticket to the north failed after two meetings. Yakassi’s assertion, nonetheless, other northern opinion leaders, yesterday, pointed to President Olusegun Obasanjo’s claim on the final day of PDP campaigns where he was quoted as saying that President Jonathan would serve one term. President’s supporters disparage claims Supporters of the president last night disparaged the claims. Mr. Joe Ambakaderemo, national coordinator of South-South Elements Progressive Union, SSEPU, described the existence of the agreement as inconceivable, outlandish and myopic, saying Aliyu should wait till 2019 to realise his ambition. Governor Aliyu had, in a radio interview on Saturday, claimed that the president reached an agreement not to contest the 2015 presidential election. He said: “I recall that at the time he was going to declare for the 2011 election, all PDP governors were brought together to ensure that we were all in the same frame of mind. “And I recall that some of us said that, given the circumstances of the death of President Umaru Yar’Adua and given the PDP zoning arrangement, it was expected that the North was to produce the president for a given number of years. “I recall that at that discussion, it was agreed that Jonathan would serve only one term of four years and we all signed the agreement. Even when Jonathan went to Kampala, in Uganda, he also said he was going to serve a single term.” Yesterday, attempts to get Governor Aliyu to elaborate on the nature of the agreement were not successful as it emerged that the governor had decided to shut himself away from further comments on the issue. It was learnt that he had strictly instructed aides and associates not to further discuss the issue. Matter of honour Meanwhile, Alhaji Yakassi, who was Special Adviser to President Shehu Shagari on National Assembly matters and was also a leading member of the NPLF, the northern group that championed a northern presidential candidate told Vanguard yesterday that following the PDP primaries efforts to get the president to agree to serve a single term did not break through. Claiming ignorance of the alleged agreement with northern governors, Yakassi said it would be a matter of honour for the president, if he ever entered into such an agreement, for him to honour it. I THINK SMTN IS NYT RYT HERE...eida both of dem are liars or 1 of dem is telling d truth..wot do u think? www.vanguardngr.com/2013/02/2015-jonathan-didnt-sign-agreement-yakassai/ |
