The other day, I saw a guy stylishly called a girl away from her mother, by pretending to be interested in the motivational book she was holding, just to toast the girl. I could see how irritated the girl felt after realizing what the guy was up to. She just couldn't wait to leave his presence and go back to meet her mom, who was waiting for her. What the guy did, got me wondering if its appropriate for a guy to ask a girl out in the presence of her mother? If you can't ask a girl out cos she's with her mother or older brother, there will always be another time, and another chance. So no need to be desperate about it.

Ahhh I remember the day garri nearly died me. At least once a month I drink garri. I'm not so much of a regular drinker.
On that particular day after settling down to soak my precious garri with enough sugar and milk. Normally I mix every ingredients together before adding water then start drinking almost immediately.
That day after mixing everything and pouring chilled water into the mixture I hurriedly took about 4 spoonful of garri down my throat. I didn't know the garri had other plans. It decided that it was on my throat that it will start swelling.
This thing start dey choke my air flow. It was at that moment I knew truly that oxygen was invincible. I had to pour water into my mouth but it wasn't moving down , held the water in my mouth for some more seconds before it started absorbing it. Some more gulps and everything crashed down into my stomach. My eyes red that day. Now I dey rinse my garri 2 times before soaking.

There are some guys I’m not comfortable around them, when I’m with them I want them to go, secondly if I see group of guys, I will be shy to pass there… if I walk into a place sometimes and I see lots of guys I will be shy at first, then when I look at their faces, the shyness will reduce a bit
