Do not study for job only. study for passion and interest too. What are u keen at? 1.programming? 2.Hardware engineering? 3.Networking? 4. Database administration? 5.Server Administration? Then respectively choose a certification as follows: 1. java or Microsoft 2. A+ 3. N+ or Cisco 4. Oracle or Microsoft 5. Linux or Microsoft |
azpekuliar:His God must have saved his soul if he was His oracle indeed. The soul is never dying. How about your own soul? |
markDT2:That's how u know religion of peace. Christianity is a choice. |
I was there too. Many physically challenged ppl were seen raising their movement aids after they got miracles. You may get d message and others at deeper life website at www.dclm.org audio http://www.dclm.org/?rdownload=http%3A%2F%2F2016services.s3.amazonaws.com%2FSRS%2FSRC26062016%2528Abuja%2529_Extraordinary_Wonder_of_His_Returning_Glory_Eng.mp3 video http://www.dclm.org/?rdownload=http%3A%2F%2F2016services.s3.amazonaws.com%2FSRS%2FSRC26062016%2528Abuja%2529_Extraordinary_Wonder_of_His_Returning_Glory_Me.mp4 |

Reyginus:Falana quoted that: “That a person protected under section 308 of the 1999 Constitution, going by its provisions, can be investigated by the POLICE for an alleged crime or offence". I am wondering if efcc and police are same thing in the law. He also quoted that: “where a person is ARRESTED for an offence under this Act, the Commission shall immediately trace and attach all the assets and properties of the person acquired as a result of such economic or financial crime and shall thereafter cause to be obtained an interim attachment order from the Court”. I also wonder if fayose is arrested. I perceive falana is trying to twist the law to support is line of argument. We know falana is speaking from the position of d FG as prosecuting counsel not as a defence council. that is law for u. |
My heart bleed 4 ds kind of question. In ds information technology age? And u are a graduate of IT. You concentrated on certificate but ignored sabificate! Don't blame school. But its not late. You can start wt biz centre and work as computer instructor. From there u can get experience to start ur own. Ideally u shd be a software programmer but only abt 5% graduate as programmer! computer sc is about software while computer engr is abt hardware. so acquire skills in software dev...android apps are money spinners. Web applications are always needed. Freelancers like guru.com can give u jobs u can do from home if u hv d skill. |
Sir, while u were away CBN devaluated d naira from N197. They say it may b now N250. Sometin u hv opposed. |
Billiondoe:1976 was 40 years ago. 1979 was 37 years ago. 1999-2007 is not 20 yrs ago. The info is wrong |

I hv gone thru comments on this thread, and appears majority hv lost confidence in today's churches and pastors; but the truth still remains that there are real pastors and churches. You may not go to Church to become a Christian or make heaven. But you should go to bible-believing church to continue as Christian. Heb 10:25 commanded we should not forsake fellowship. Fellowship or church or assembly means d same thing because there must a leader.. pastor or evangelist or prophet or apostle... they are not all fake. The bible said they are for perfecting (maturing) the saints (Christians) Eph 4.11. As a Christian you may not attend fellowship if u want to remain an immature Christian! It is like saying you can stay at home to study instead of enrolling in school to be taught by experienced lecturers. At least I hv not found elements of falsehood in Kumuyi or Adeboye. You can join dem. |
Jazzygrafix:use WYSIWYG if u r doing web design, but if u want to do web application like php you must learn HTML. |
malton:we know the truth sha. We know say gud ekonomic policy from APC/PMB can improve the lot of the masses. APC/PMB hv to b responsive & responsible. but Let's pretend or be diplomatic so dt peace go reign |
8kingz:Let the truth be told. All States in Niger Delta are PDP States. Amaechi became governor under PDP. Edo State was given to Adams because of his fight for the common man when he was the Labour President. You need to do something very impactful to the masses before you can defeat PDP in Niger Delta. Amaechi dumped PDP for APC at the die minutes... only a handful of his aids/appointees decamped with him, not the masses. |
bigtt76:Why have you not "assemble" pencil from youtube and Nigeria still imports. If it is easy to assemble, we would have had assembling plants own by Nigerians all over the states for aircrafts, motors (how many?), computers (how many?), generators, etc. This is a guy I saw carving woods to build the body, and converting maybe demostic kerosene into aviation fuel! Mind you, no single person or company manafactures everything from ground to finish..they make use of things already tested and working. Take HP/Compaq computers for example, the motherboard is never produced by HP/Compaq, mostly by Intel. Manufacturers of fans, cars, computers, planes, generators etc use electric motors produced many years ago; they do not need to re-invent electric motor for rotations again. You need to be schooled. Apologies. |
chinchum:With all respect, I think you don't know what you are saying. You did not watch it on channelstv. This young man went as far as attaching cameras for surveilance. Besides he produces (or refines) his own "aviation fuel". Watch the documentary on youtube and your mouth will be shut. It is a drone and much more. When I watched it, I wish they knew about it and the Govt was serious enough to utilise it in the then no-go-area of the sambisa forest. He did what first class graduates and professors of science cannot do. If our govt is serious, these are the kind of people they need to make Nigeria, not certificates. I listened to the present Minister of Science and Technology (O. onu) when CHANNELSTV interviewed him in the light of what this guy did, there was nothing concrete. I bet you, this guy will be picked up soon by serious govt of the world after channelstv has showcased him. He needs to be encouraged. |
ricsman:Where is the change then ![]() |
1. The bible says (Heb 10:25) "DO NOT FORSAKE THE ASSEMBLING OF OURSELVES TOGETHER, AS THE MANNER OF SOME PEOPLE IS". This means it is a COMMANDMENT and MUST BE OBEYED. It is COMPULSORY TO GO TO CHURCH. 2. The bible says (Prov. 27:17) "IRON SHARPENS IRON" It is when you have fellowship/assembly with others of like faith that your faith is built. NOT WHEN YOU STAY AT HOME AND JUST READ THE BIBLE. 3. The bible says (I Corin. 16:2) "ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK, LET EVERYONE LAY BY HIM IN STORE AS GOD HAS PROSPERED HIM..." Here paul was instructing the Corinthian church to bring their offering on First Day of the Week [Sunday]. This means the early church/apostles had fellowship on Sundays; so can we. Also remember that Jesus resurrected on Sunday, and the Pentecost came on Sunday. These are some reasons while there was a switch from Saturday worship to Sunday worship. However, if the society does not permit it (e.g. in countries where Sunday is not free; I heard there are muslim countries where their work-free days are Friday/Saturday), you can choose to assemble on Friday or Saturday. The important thing is to "assemble" not necessarily the "day". Afterall, even churches that go for Sunday Service also have midweek service (Wednesday), Bible Study (Monday) or Revival Service (Thursday) etc. 4. We should NOT make it a doctrine/mandatory to worship on SATURDAY (SABBATH DAY). Jesus hardly keep the Sabbath...he works, heals and command His benefactors to do actions that the Jews complained were against sabbath laws. Jesus has fulfilled the sabbath. He is our rest (Heb 4: . We should not judge one another on the day of worship (Colossian 2:16).IN SUMMARY, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO MEET TOGETHER REGULARLY under a God appointed minister, because He appointed some APOSTLES, PROPHETS, EVANGLISTS, PASTORS AND TEACHERS to minister to us in the body of Christ (church, not in our houses), to teach/perfect/edify us (Eph 4:11-12). God bless you for reading and sharing. |
I am not surprise ! It's expected. Though I trust supreme court more than... |
Whenever I hear this talk on corruption, I ask "Who sponsored PMB election? some APC guys? Where did THEY get the money?? From their business centres "" |
They told us Fashola used 78million for website, amongs others http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/188248-nigerian-anti-corruption-activists-drag-fashola-to-efcc-over-n78-million-website-scandal.html http://cyboknews.com/corruption-case-8-petitions-against-fashola-with-efcc-icpc-others/. Are there webdesigners/developers in the house? I know say 2k, 20k, 200k and at most 2million fit do the best website! Na alegation sha. Alegation na corruption! What is corruption self? GEJ says stealing is not corruption, but stealling is stealling, Amaechi says na bribe be corruption and if you sleep with a girl b4 u help am. Lady, you didn't tell us if your parent consented to the marriage. Were u already pregnant that made u 'jumped' into a man's house at that age err you completed ur school. If u are a real xtian you claimd u are, u can't be in polygammy. I learnt Muslims can marry up to four, but u know a christian marries only one . For u to mention ur religion and ur 'husband' religion means u know the truth and it is a concern to u, except you want to pretend. Miistakes can only be righting. Pretend u don't know! |
If any money is traced to GEJ's account, he should be invited. But, has there been any findings that monies was transfered to GEJ ![]() He may haved approved it for a job, yes. cbn released it. ok; So the person(s) that the money was released to should giv account on how s/he used the money to accomplish the job. |
National Identity Management Commission was set up many yrs ago by Obasanjo. Unique id. for Nigerians and Nat. DB are their main mandates. What have they done to date? Though, I will not blame them, politicians etc will not allow it work. Some want to be able to forge election and population numbers! That's just the problem. Beside, National Identity is a simple thing. The Technology is available. We do not need to reinvent the wheel. The manpower is there. Computer graduates, members of Nigeria Computer Societies, programmers etc can be assembled, and in a short time, it will be up. Nigeria Biometric systems is still manual. The BVN is manual too. Or else, you do not need to submit BVN from one bank to the other. All you needed to do was to visit your other banks and place ur finger on their device, and your BVN will be called from a central database (CBN) if previously registered. You finger print should be the unique key/pry key, not even BVN. Bank Account Numbers are still manual. Else, one will be able to place his finger print and his data will pop up. If they are ready to let it work, it will work. |
salisy:The reverse seems the case. The CBN Gov. is seeking to pls PMB so that he would not loose his job. PMB is not an econs expert. He needs pple to advise him. Folks like Soludo, Sanusi would bring their expertise to the table and convince their employer and Nigerians on their positions. Emefiele should take his stand and advice/convince PMB as an expert. He should not be carried away by the PDP/APC diff. This is the only way he can keep his job. His formulae are NOT just working. I think, Ezekwelisi is ryt. |
ogedanny:If you have decided for java (android app development), I will advise you use an IDE (Integrated Development Environment). Do google it out for your self: Or try 1. Netbeans 2. Eclipse- mostly used. You can also try: 3. AIDE 4. IntelliJ IDEA Using IDE saves you a lot of stress |
udoh2k:ogedanny, I have given you the conditions to choose a language, but you seem not to list. But if you care, the VisualBASIC is a beginner language. VisualBASIC is a Windows (Visual) version of BASIC language. BASIC stands for Beginners All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code. I started with BASIC and advanced to VisualBASIC (VB). But you do no need to start from BASIC as it was for DOS. Today, most programmes are developed for Windows (Operating System), hence just jump to VisualBasic (VB). There is VB 6.0. Although I have moved from VB6.0 to VB.NET (I also developed in C#,C++,Java,PHP) , but VB6.0 is better place to start. As I said earlier, it depends on the type of application you want to develop: *Windows/Desktop=VB6.0 *Web Application=PHP *Mobile App (Android)=Java So, its your choice. But first read: https://www.nairaland.com/2458705/signs-not-meant-programmer |

1. Yes, there is always a "inner drive" for programming. If you don't have it, don't waste your time trying to be a programmer. Don't go into programming because ur friends do or because you study computer science. Yet studying computer science in school can give you the drive. 2. Programmers can sit for hours writing codes for fun, not for money. If all you need programming for, is money. forget it. 3. Programmers think of solving problems, and often take the problem along even when sleeping. If you don't want to THINK, or be thinking even as you work, walk, play, sleep; then forget programming. Programming is brain-sapping. It can also be very very rewarding. Above all, it is fun! |
There is no best language. It depends on what you want to do 1. For desktop application - start with VB6 or VB.net. 2. For Web application - PHP is a good start 3. For Mobile application (android app) - Java is the native language for android If java or PHP is your first language then proceed to C# or C++. In facts PHP,C#,C++,Java all have almost similar codings. So which ever you first start in these category, you can easily switch to another in these category. VB is the most simple of all, and C++ is the most advanced. so I recommend the 1,2,3 conditions 1 first listed above. But all 5 languages I mentioned are very popular nowadays. |
