My MSc certificate is not ready and I was wondering if I could include the qualification (MSc) in my application. I sent an email to EA, requesting to know if I could use a combination of "notification of result" and transcript. The response I got was in the negative! The assessment officer that responded to my enquiries replied with the above quotation.


Please, has any Engr. on this thread gotten a +ve assessment from EA using a notification/statement of result?

My second question is can I nominate directly as a mechanical engineer with my HND and ND since I have ova 8 yrs experience? Please am looking forward to your answers. I got my transcript through my friend's office secretary since EA does not accept transcripts directly from institutions.
Now, the challenge is that the transcript's cover letter is addressed to the secretary and not EA. Is this going to be acceptable to EA? If not, can I just upload the transcript without the cover letter?

For those among us who are yet to apply, whatever you doing don't tell them you applied for US visa n got denied. I was told today that they will carry out a standard check on my application before issuing me a Visa, so try n learn from my mistake mates. Otherwise my visa will have been out by now

that's true Boss, I was also looking at skilled assessment considering the over 7yrs experience in that field. since EA is faster....

also look at engineering technologist, it's on sol and csol, assessed by EA. ur HND and experience as NDT will fly here. As I said earlier use PTE to gather much points as ur HND will give u 10point unlike B.Sc that should give 15point.

yes o, I said pte because it's easier to score 20points. EA use ielts but u ain't aiming for points with that. u have to just do fine. Finally, am not oga. no deceive itself. haha..

Thanks for your quick response. Really I for apply directly as a MECH engineer and being assessed by EA. But unfortunately, na HND I get, because I see BSC. SO that's why I am trying the other alternatives. Any other advice I dey wait ohhhhhh.

no fear, make PTE ur wife. if u get 20points there, no shaking. ur HND go give u +ve assessment with EA as per technician or technologist Kia Kia. ur age and experience go butter ur application and u go get ur Kpali sharp sharp. But Abeg no forget to tithe me oo before u kawa. haha...

As a mechanical engineer as I told you before ,but I was employed as an NDT engineer with five years experience with company A and one year experience with company B, then 2 years and six months with company C which is the multinational .So the other time i asked if i could nominate mechanical engineering technician , which you reply that i should do. But after going tru the job descriptions and all the trainings i ve undergone these past few years of my experience , i came to a conclusion that it didn't really match. But it matches with Metallurgical or Materials Technician which are being assessed by vetasses . So please what i want you to advice me on is that though i did not study metallurgy or materials engineering but i have all my years of experience in NDT and i also ve lots of training and their certificates in NDT and other trainings related to the metallurgy or materials engineering technician .so please can you advice me to still go ahead with the mechanical engineering technician or I can go ahead to nominate metallurgy or materials engineering technician knowing fully well that i am a mechanical Engineer. I look forward to your kind response.

I am currently in Australia as I got my grant for subclass 574, my school is VU and I submitted a change of course form for masters by coursework.
my school is saying I can't change because my reasons are personal issues.

Please which reason can I tell them so that they can effect the change and allow me to join them this semester. Meanwhile classes for masters commenced last week.

you can apply now but before they issue admission do and write and get your English test score. very important so you don't waste your time.

it's possible if they have same surname as yours. they meet the requirements that they you have the required fund for your stay and tuition for one year.
