I decided to share this story considering the fact that God brought the opportunity and I should as well pass it on to you guys here on nairaland.

The next week, she told me that all her neighbors in the market wanted to buy the watch through her and so I just bought more, and resold it to them while adding my own profit. Within 3 months, I made so much money from buying the watch and reselling it that I decided to open a boutique and expand the business. Now I buy many fashion articles as well as clothing from the website and retail at my boutique.

I was surfing the net on how a business can sell product wholesale in nigeria and I stumbled into www.suppliersnigeria.com- it is a wholesale platform where suppliers ( manufacturers, dealers, Importers etc) list their product, assign a unit price and minimum order quantity to the product.
I think that this initiative is good. Its just like alibaba.com in B2B sense because retailers and big consumers source product from this platform. The supplier just need a free basic registration on suppliersnigeria.com to start listing product.
I registered to start selling handbags within a week I receved 3 orders from different retailers that are interested in my bag before I knew it I supplied to 2 using IBL and received my money. One who is a retailers ordered 10pcs and the other who intend to use them as gifts ordered 5 pcs. I sold 15pcs total.
I thought some nairalanders especially importers like me will benefit from this idea.
