chuna1985: Nigeria is doomed. I guess you're a Nigerian? So you're doomed if things continue this way. Period. As for availability... You may be right. On Saturday it was available in awka. Today it's not. Maybe by tomorrow it won't be available in Enugu anymore. Maybe not. Either way, just hope for the best. 2 Likes |

PHfinest: That is exactly what many people bragged about yesterday. If I get time I'll find the post and point you to it. I didn't make it up. You say I hate you and I'm not from south east? Well your totally right. I hate my parents who are both Igbo's from anambra. I hate all my siblings too. I hate my cousins and the rest of my extended family. I hate my clansmen and my villagers. And I hate my governor Obiano even though he's taking my state to greater heights. And yes, I hate Enugu, Imo, Abia and the other states. I hate the Igbo soil I march on everyday. Are u happy now or do you want me to say I hate the word Igbo too 4 Likes |

Samchelsea: Again Sam you get me wrong. I made reference to posts I read yesterday here. I'm sure you saw it too. Many of us gave silly reasons why scarcity was not affecting us. I say they're silly because they were not economically valid arguments. Now today scarcity has started affecting us. And it made me wonder... Where then are the illegal refineries and the big shot marketers? Where then are the brains that turn water to fuel? I'm not bashing my people cos I'm from anambra, I live and work in anambra. I'm just saying that as long as Igboland is part of a united Nigeria, then we suffer what Nigeria suffers. We are not above Nigeria. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Samchelsea: Well Sam, you may not think so but this is not a bullshit. I am just correcting the impression that we are above Nigeria's problems. The last time I checked, we Igbos are still part of a united Nigeria. And Nigeria's problems affect us as much as it affects the others. 9 Likes |

Macelliot: Really? You may be saying the truth. But it will surely hit Onitsha in a day or two. It has certainly hit awka. And it's not the price here but the availability. |

RareDiamond: Boy if u don't understand the real situation of things then u won't. The entire nation has not had electricity for three days. Fuel is so scarce that you'd be lucky to find it. And most people can't afford to buy it at that cost. In a few days food prices will skyrocket. Telecoms may shut down. Tell me again why you don't think that you're in trouble? Yes you! 12 Likes 1 Share |

Just yesterday most south easterners were boasting that we would not experience scarcity. Many Noelle names were mentioned. Others bragged that we have hundreds of illegal refineries therefore scarcity would never hit us. Many said we were all so hard working and industries and had the brain to change water into fuel. Fast forward to this morning. Awka capital of Anambra. I bought fuel two days ago at 140 per litre. Also two days ago half the filling stations in awka had fuel do I can understand why many of us developed that false sense of security. This morning I went out to buy real... All those stations were closed down. There was just no fuel. It took me a thirty minutes drive round the city to find fuel. I finally found it close to the anambra/Enugu border. The queue was massive. And the cost? 170 per. Relatively cheaper you'd say... Across the road another station was selling but at 200 per. I got a frantic call from a friend who told me he bought for 250 in some village off Awka. He had to travel all the way to that village to get fuel. I asked a friend in asaba. He said they now buy for 240 but it's so damn hard to get. Scarcity is hitting all of us. We in the South East should not brag about immunity. We are all doomed. 28 Likes |

By end of the week, when the telecoms fully shut down, internet services crash, businesses close down, workers go on sit down strike for lack of power, farmers can no longer transport their goods, even customs can not function... Krasid: True England has been blind this season but the leader has not been one eyed. You can say many things about the style of play but it doesn't really matter. Chelsea's season was a game of two halves... In the first half the entertained like Barcelona and was ruthless like Bayern of the old... In the second half with multiple injuries and severe loss of form they became defensive and ruthless and to some extent boring. Any other team who had injuries and key players loss of form like Chelsea would have folded. But not the Chelsea led by Mourinho. Even if other teams had mustered a real challenge, Mourinho would still have won the title because he didn't drop enough points for others to take advantage. As for hazard, only a jealous fan of other teams would argue that he has not been splendid this season. The stats show it. Hundreds of professional footballers saw it. Tens of pundits and sports writers saw it. Millions of fans affirmed it and even the England FA recognized it. Are u beta and wiser than all these people? 1 Like |

After all said and done, only biased minds will argue that Chelsea has not been the best in England this season. They have completely dominated the premier league and it will take not just massive signings from other teams to overhaul them next season but also changes in coaching crews. And don't forget that with one or two more key signings, this Chelsea team can only get better. 1 Like |

Hazard's most successful season continues as he collects a third individual award. Just this morning Barclay's Premier League has released the winners of the awards. Hazard is voted for the Barclay's Premier League player of the year beating off fellow team mate John Terry as well as Tottenham sensation Harry Kane, Man City goal master Sergio Aguero, Man Utd top stopper David da Gea and Arsenal magician Alexis Sanchez. Incidentally Jose Mourinho has been named the manager of the season. Recall that the blues boss did not win a single manager of the month award. He beat off competition from Leicester boss Nigel Pearson, arsenal's Arsene Wenger, Swansea coach Gary Monk and Southampton coach Koeman. This completes a very successful season for the blues who led the premier league unchallenged from the second week of the season. Congrats to the winners and to Chelsea Fc fans. http://m.skysports.com/article/sports//9859612 |
