No he is not off the hook. No the Fed government has not lost the case.

Rather the office of the Attorney General did not do he work well. The court lacks jurisdiction to decide the matter. So it's only appropriate that the AG's office will take the matter up at the court of appeal.

Romance / Re: Should She Tell Her Fiance About Her Sex Video by ugojamali(m): 7:20am On Jun 24, 2015
Between the devil and the deep blue sea. Tell the man and there's a 90 percent chance that he would leave. Idealists may think that love always conquers all but realists know that only two percent of Nigerian men would agree to marry a gal who made porn n her past.

Don't tell him and if there's a video and it gets posted, he finds out, he leaves and hates you forever.

The past has really come to haunt the gal. She must be brave. Hope for the best but expect the worst. I'd expect her to cut off all contact with the ex, change her number, break the old sim. Total silence from her would make the ex lose interest.

Nice nice story. Like Paranoia this is chilling any blood cuddling. Now who's crazy hahahaha? At first I thought the boy was crazy but then... What a sick father. Classic.

Just work on your script formatting a bit... For example most of those words in parenthesis shouldn't be there. You may want to do away with most of the parenthesis.

Also in the beginning you described Usman as obviously bright. Good. But you're telling us, not showing us. You should be able to visually show us why you say that Usman is bright.

Politics / Re: President Buhari Leaves Mosque Without Convoy Or Sirens by ugojamali(m): 5:18pm On Jun 12, 2015
That's not how it should be. The President of Nigeria should ride in a convoy with full security detail. Why? Because he's the most popular man in Africa and the destiny of this country is on his shoulders. A precious thing deserves special protection. This President deserves full protection whether he wants it or not.

No sir, I did not intend to argue with you, I only wanted to teach you. And since it has been discovered that the only language most of you APC e-warriors understand is 'strong' language, i choose to use same in teaching you with proofs.

If you are not the kid here, i wonder how you would have made the statement: what PMB has done in combating terrorism and corruption in the last 12 days is more than what GEJ did in one year, without proving same. Only children or robots are wont to make statements that have no justification for.

In order to give you one last honor of quoting you, it seems you did not read my post well. Please go back and read it before making unguarded foolish utterances.

But if you are not able to understand, let me help you a little. For one, I said I'm not an APC supporter. Infact I'm not interested in party politics.

Two, I said the President has taken steps in 12 days. I did not say he has done things. Taken steps is different from achieving. Taking steps means making positive efforts.

Now why do I compare 12 days and a year? Simple. Because it took GEJ six full years before he became serious with combating terrorism. It is common knowledge that GEJ started seriously fighting terrorism few months to the election. As for corruption, I can't think of anything that GEJ actually did to stamp out corruption in six years. If there is, please tell me.

If you do not know the steps this President has taken, please visit news sites. I do not need to educate you.

GEJ will forever have my love and respect as the man who gave us true democracy. He is the hero of our time. But he failed to address our security and economic problems. And yes, I voted for him, supported him based on personal reasons. But now, I have a new President who I did not like but will now always wish him well and give him the support he needs to succeed. If you like hate him all you want, but you are stuck with him for four years!

You see what you want to see. In 12 days

1) He has met with service chiefs twice

2) Process of relocating command center started already

3) Already been to Chad and Niger to discuss Boko Haram.

4) Been to Germany for G7 meeting to get solid commitments from the most powerful nations in the world to help us in the fight against insurgents, corruption and economic advancements. Cameron already tweeted stating they created a unit to help fight corruption and Boko Haram. So basically not only did Buhari get them to commit, they acted immediately.

5) People from the past administration are already returning stolen money. They're already fighting corruption, they're already working out deals with companies that were caught red handed benefiting from the oil industry corruption. This is just the beginning, they haven't begun scratching the surface

6) He has proven already that he's a born again democrat by not interfering with happenings in the NASS. He reinforced his inaugural speech of "he belongs to everybody and he belongs to no one"

7) He has stated that there'll be no need for FOI that he's going to publicly declare his assets when verification is complete

What steps? Since you have decided to compare 12 days and one year let me ask:

On Security??

Is it by visiting Chad and Niger? Did PMB not say it was a disgrace that the GEJ led administration was coopting our neighbours to come handle our internal security issues for us? He said he will be at the forefront like the soldier he is! I thought he would have relocated to Maiduguri, abi tailor never sew him bullet proof uniforms finish? Has he visited any of the states or places that BH recently killed scores or even sent condolences? Apart from the usual condemnations which he only offered once since the killings, what else has he done on security in this 12 days wet pass one year? Where the #change??

On Anticurruption?

Has he appointed the new EFCC and ICPC chairman? How many high profile arrest has been made? Apart from ''jailing' Timiprye Sylva and Muritala Nyako who else has his new EFCC and ICPC arrested Who has returned money, how much and who has custody of the moneys?

Some people's brains really need to be formarted. When you just here somebody say PMB has done so so so and so, you copy and paste without asking yourself anything.

Make your brain booth finish we go format am!

I'd think you are a kid. That's why you'd tell me, who you clearly do not know, that I'm brainless. Well done. Sorry, I am not in the mood to respond to kids today so I will neither insult you back nor even dignify your stated points with a response. If you had wanted us to argue like men, you'd have refrained from typing like a kid. So cheers.

This is a post to merely discredit the President. While I'm not an APC supporter, i don't agree with this thread. You can't judge a President in twelve days. Besides, this President has taken more positive steps in twelve days to tackle corruption and terrorism than Jonathan took in one year.

Politics / Re: UK Prime Minister Tweets About Nigeria.. See Snapshots. by ugojamali(m): 1:15pm On Jun 11, 2015
I totally agree with this move. Since our anti corruption agencies have become unable to fight corruption, it is only sane that the President seeks foreign help. At least foreigners won't be compromised like our domestic agencies.

QUEEN'S GAMBIT ACCEPTED!!!

The plot gets deeper.

Shey APC guys were asking for vibrant "oppositioning" from PDP?
Now they have it.

Turns out PDP is better at playing dirty politics than APC.
They played the "Queens Gambit" and APC fell for it cheaply!

Now they are in the defensive side and all the valuable pieces are lost. The centre is open. PDP controls the game.

Only the pawns are left. Plus one King.
The King is also a fighting piece. grin

A party that has been in power for 16 years. That's a whole lot of experience that APC still lacks. Now they know what's in store for them. Either they sit up and play hard or that get swept away and have the so called opposition running their government. grin

As for the proclamation issue, it seems, from what I read on other news sites, that President Buhari actually sent the proclamation letter. It was read by the clerk of the NA before the election.

So both the inauguration and the election are valid in the eyes of the law. PDP played a fast one on APC.

Hahahaha very nice movie. It dragged a bit in the beginning for me. Too much dialogue. Almost lost interest but the wait was well worth it. Events quickly escalated and I got sucked in.

Story, they say, is King. Yeah this movie got everything almost right. Nice picture. Good production design. I even see that the film maker observed the sacred rule of thirds so lacking in most nollywood films (keeping characters to the sides of the frame). Granted sound may have disappointed a bit. But then, sound is our major technical problem in film making. But what stands out for me is the story. And the writer.

You see the writer led me on a false path. I went into the house with the guy expecting to witness a murder, maybe a multiple murder. Instead I met the craziest woman ever. Totally hilarious... Totally eerie. Wow. And as he left the house, I felt his dream life vanishing.

You did a great job.

Nice story Sholay. Put a smile on my face while reading. Typical naija street life... Information flying fast, everyone adding his own piece.

Mrs Obong was something else. I enjoyed how she made herself up purposefully before leaving.

Good write up. Many people would want to add titbits and suggestions to your story but I believe it's perfect the way it is. It is the job of the writer to lead the reader. While the reader may want to see more or less stuffs, he must be content with the path the writer takes him through. He can then fill additional gaps in his head.

Romance / Re: Help, I Am In Love With My Boss! by ugojamali(m): 10:59am On May 27, 2015
It could be a wonderful thing for you to date her. It could also lead to your career death in that company.

You should only be in a relationship with her if you are fully in love. Be wise. Know the difference between love and lust. Make sure you see your future with her. It's best to know her totally well before making your move. See how she treats the other staff because the best way to know someone is by observing how he treats others beside you.

But totally refrain if you're not in love. Don't play games with her unless she's only interested in games. Cos if you dump her, or if your passion eventually fades, she'd be bruised and take it out on your career. She'd do frustrate you that you'd wish you never looked at her.

Be wise.

It is good you hold you true identity dearly.
You need not say a word more.

Now stop claiming what you are not before you incur the punishment of any deity you hold dear.

Well unlike you I don't hold any deity dear.

1. Your previous posts betray you. You are a Muslim. And staunch supporter of Buhari. Very few South Easterners are.
2. If you are from South East, which state?

No deny your faith and heritage o

If you tell me about illegal refineries down south south then you would have made much sense. But you had to drag your enemies in

Which previous posts? Faith? This thread is not about religion. Religion has nothing to do with this economic meltdown. Heritage? Well it's my heritage. What's yours? Illegal refineries? I didn't say that. Someone else did.

don't know what you are talking about,so because you didn't see fuel in onitsha means there's is fuel scarcity in the east now.Bought @150 per liter in the morning(owerri) and it didn't take me 30mins am outa de place. And another thing is that is good not to hide your identity no matter what by claiming you are from this place while in the real essence of it you are just living there.

Boy go back and read the original thread. Don't come here making wild accusations. I based my post on what I read being said by many in a post yesterday, on my personal experience this morning and on the personal experiences of other close friends in awka and asaba. If there is fuel in your place then that's great, I wouldn't dispute that.

As for where I'm from... Make your own conclusions. If you even like take me a Burundian. That's your business.
