No he is not off the hook. No the Fed government has not lost the case. Rather the office of the Attorney General did not do he work well. The court lacks jurisdiction to decide the matter. So it's only appropriate that the AG's office will take the matter up at the court of appeal. 1 Like |

Between the devil and the deep blue sea. Tell the man and there's a 90 percent chance that he would leave. Idealists may think that love always conquers all but realists know that only two percent of Nigerian men would agree to marry a gal who made porn n her past. Don't tell him and if there's a video and it gets posted, he finds out, he leaves and hates you forever. The past has really come to haunt the gal. She must be brave. Hope for the best but expect the worst. I'd expect her to cut off all contact with the ex, change her number, break the old sim. Total silence from her would make the ex lose interest. |

Nice nice story. Like Paranoia this is chilling any blood cuddling. Now who's crazy hahahaha? At first I thought the boy was crazy but then... What a sick father. Classic. Just work on your script formatting a bit... For example most of those words in parenthesis shouldn't be there. You may want to do away with most of the parenthesis. Also in the beginning you described Usman as obviously bright. Good. But you're telling us, not showing us. You should be able to visually show us why you say that Usman is bright. 3 Likes |

That's not how it should be. The President of Nigeria should ride in a convoy with full security detail. Why? Because he's the most popular man in Africa and the destiny of this country is on his shoulders. A precious thing deserves special protection. This President deserves full protection whether he wants it or not. 1 Like 1 Share |

dougivilla: In order to give you one last honor of quoting you, it seems you did not read my post well. Please go back and read it before making unguarded foolish utterances. But if you are not able to understand, let me help you a little. For one, I said I'm not an APC supporter. Infact I'm not interested in party politics. Two, I said the President has taken steps in 12 days. I did not say he has done things. Taken steps is different from achieving. Taking steps means making positive efforts. Now why do I compare 12 days and a year? Simple. Because it took GEJ six full years before he became serious with combating terrorism. It is common knowledge that GEJ started seriously fighting terrorism few months to the election. As for corruption, I can't think of anything that GEJ actually did to stamp out corruption in six years. If there is, please tell me. If you do not know the steps this President has taken, please visit news sites. I do not need to educate you. GEJ will forever have my love and respect as the man who gave us true democracy. He is the hero of our time. But he failed to address our security and economic problems. And yes, I voted for him, supported him based on personal reasons. But now, I have a new President who I did not like but will now always wish him well and give him the support he needs to succeed. If you like hate him all you want, but you are stuck with him for four years! 2 Likes |

dougivilla: I'd think you are a kid. That's why you'd tell me, who you clearly do not know, that I'm brainless. Well done. Sorry, I am not in the mood to respond to kids today so I will neither insult you back nor even dignify your stated points with a response. If you had wanted us to argue like men, you'd have refrained from typing like a kid. So cheers. |

This is a post to merely discredit the President. While I'm not an APC supporter, i don't agree with this thread. You can't judge a President in twelve days. Besides, this President has taken more positive steps in twelve days to tackle corruption and terrorism than Jonathan took in one year. 7 Likes |

So in this 21st Century, a man is killed just because a Nigerian policeman couldn't read an ID Card. |

I totally agree with this move. Since our anti corruption agencies have become unable to fight corruption, it is only sane that the President seeks foreign help. At least foreigners won't be compromised like our domestic agencies. |

prof800: A party that has been in power for 16 years. That's a whole lot of experience that APC still lacks. Now they know what's in store for them. Either they sit up and play hard or that get swept away and have the so called opposition running their government. ![]() 1 Like |

As for the proclamation issue, it seems, from what I read on other news sites, that President Buhari actually sent the proclamation letter. It was read by the clerk of the NA before the election. So both the inauguration and the election are valid in the eyes of the law. PDP played a fast one on APC. 2 Likes |

Can't blame the man. As long as he can get it up, a man however old should still have sex. But I blame him for not taking it easy. Should have gone slow. Should have done it only once. Rip. U died in heaven. |

Hahahaha very nice movie. It dragged a bit in the beginning for me. Too much dialogue. Almost lost interest but the wait was well worth it. Events quickly escalated and I got sucked in. Story, they say, is King. Yeah this movie got everything almost right. Nice picture. Good production design. I even see that the film maker observed the sacred rule of thirds so lacking in most nollywood films (keeping characters to the sides of the frame). Granted sound may have disappointed a bit. But then, sound is our major technical problem in film making. But what stands out for me is the story. And the writer. You see the writer led me on a false path. I went into the house with the guy expecting to witness a murder, maybe a multiple murder. Instead I met the craziest woman ever. Totally hilarious... Totally eerie. Wow. And as he left the house, I felt his dream life vanishing. You did a great job. 2 Likes |

Nice story Sholay. Put a smile on my face while reading. Typical naija street life... Information flying fast, everyone adding his own piece. Mrs Obong was something else. I enjoyed how she made herself up purposefully before leaving. Good write up. Many people would want to add titbits and suggestions to your story but I believe it's perfect the way it is. It is the job of the writer to lead the reader. While the reader may want to see more or less stuffs, he must be content with the path the writer takes him through. He can then fill additional gaps in his head. 2 Likes 1 Share |

It could be a wonderful thing for you to date her. It could also lead to your career death in that company. You should only be in a relationship with her if you are fully in love. Be wise. Know the difference between love and lust. Make sure you see your future with her. It's best to know her totally well before making your move. See how she treats the other staff because the best way to know someone is by observing how he treats others beside you. But totally refrain if you're not in love. Don't play games with her unless she's only interested in games. Cos if you dump her, or if your passion eventually fades, she'd be bruised and take it out on your career. She'd do frustrate you that you'd wish you never looked at her. Be wise. |

Amaechi5: Boy go back and read the original thread. Don't come here making wild accusations. I based my post on what I read being said by many in a post yesterday, on my personal experience this morning and on the personal experiences of other close friends in awka and asaba. If there is fuel in your place then that's great, I wouldn't dispute that. As for where I'm from... Make your own conclusions. If you even like take me a Burundian. That's your business. 1 Like |
