Divay22: Hmmm It's gonna be a nice thread.. Lemme settle down here.
This thread is likely gonna make some people depress, lost and even sucidial. But pls, Have it in mind that when it's time for the moon to shine the sun must surely give way... So if you're trying, keep trying it's never too late. We all have a story.. Be patient enough to get it the right way so you can enjoy it and not the wrong way cause you just might not recover from it..

afroxyz: Privatize NNPC and sell to your cronies. Reduce taxes so that your businesses and those of your cronies would not remit funds to the government. Even though buhari is a huge mistake, I read the type of looting that would happen under atiku Selling NNPC means it will be a publicly traded company with the govt having a minority stake (may be 30%) and selling the remaining on the financial market That's the best thing that can happen to Nigeria if not for anything, nnpc will be forced to publish their audited statements on a yearly basis, not this criminal arrangement we have But then, Nigerians, being the dimwitted empty headed mofos will fight against this good idea due to ignorance |

henchamb: What's the proposal for job creation Restructuring is nowhere to be found after prof burst the empty restructuring mantra. I think we need buhari to continue. The entrepreneural drive of this administration is worth it. Most guys now have corporate accounts as a result of cheap and easy CAC registration. Easier to access loans and consular services (if you know) Kudos to pmb, his investment in security worked hence it's not in Atiku's agenda. 4 more years of Buhari will damage Nigeria irreparably |

slightlyMad:
The number one cause of road accidents in that country called Nigeria is the lack of the lane lines and enforcement of the rules surrounding those lines.
Here in the US, you will drive thousands of miles without a single road accident in view, your government must think those lines must be mumu lines àbí.
They will rather paint the curbs black and white like they are advertising tomtom
Old cargos without ideas, the theif is even planning to sell nnpc to himself.
Vote Sowore no, it is a confirmed theif they prefer, sometimes I wonder why we in diaspora are wasting our contributions to better the lives of the useless youths back home whose only question is what experience does Sowore have to rule a complex nation like Nigeria, what is complex about a country whose airport is a small store in the USA.

Making NNPC a publicly traded company is the BEST THING that can ever happen to Nigeria
If not for any thing, they will be forced to publish their audited financial statements to the workd, which in turn will enhance productivity, transparency and good corporate governance
But then, Nigeria is a country filled with illiterates and dimwits, hence not ready for anything good. |

codemaniacs: you've finally shown your true colors with your main moniker....
its not about "seeing things without sentiments"...
like I explained earlier, white people publicize black celebs to ordinary black people, which fuels the desire to want to live the fast life... In summary, black people are conditioned to be wasteful, indisciplined e.t.c.. through the media...
its about using black people to hurt other black people without them knowing it... most black americans are not tribal...
they could have sold their businesses to other rich black people....
the best way to hurt someone is to let them hurt themselves by themselves...
you don't know much about economic warfare and the importance of economic tribalism... this guy and his "true colours talk" This is my moniker, and every one here know where I stand on this topic, so why "pretend" according to you, "black folks are conditioned to live the fast life" by the media Still giving excuses for these failures And according to you, "most black Americans are not tribal" You never sabi them, that's for sure |

A baby isn't hurt when a pregnant woman and her partner make love. The amniotic sac and the strong muscles of the uterus protect the baby, and the thick mucus plug that seals the cervix helps guard against infection.

linearity: When I sometime say, Nigeria have little to no hope from our current dismay condition, individuals like this poster are my evidence.
How can you hold up the way a local government chairman in Nigeria treats others, especially the media as a standard for the world?
The Media is the 4th Estate of any democracy, they have a duty to confront the 1st, 2nd and 3rd estates and to get answers to their questions...these other three estates cannot shut off the media.
I watched that video too, Trump was trying to use his bully pulpit to shut off that Journalist and in true discharge of his responsibilities, he stood his ground and refused to be shut down or intimidated. The next journalist who took the mic, immediately supported the CNN journalist. Even Fox News filed a friend of the court amicus brief supporting the journalist against Trump and the White House.
The goal of the White House was to deny coverage to those who are not in their favor...It is called democracy for a reason and another word for democracy is divided government i.e. where diverse opinions should be allowed to strive.
Am ordering pop corns already to see how he is going to shut down the House, which from January will have individuals with diverse opinion. He will have to learn the hard way on how to compromise and work with them, or he will just settle for a lame duck President from here with no accomplishments and have to rule with EO which have limited power, limited authorities, can be challenged in court and can be deleted from the books by the stroke of the pen of the next President with a diverse opinion....and also confirm Judges, period!
It is even poetic justice that the Judge that ruled against him here in the D.C court, was the very Judge he appointed. you have said it all jare no mind all these people |
