atuanso84: Nigeria and quick money.
an India once told me when I was arguing with him how hard working and industrious we are as Nigerians. he told me no! that Nigerians were some of the most laziest people he had ever come across. that they were only after money. that they hate"working"
he said even if you have the mind to train them, only few actually are interested. they want to bow to you so they can get something immediately. working is all about efficiency he further told me, and not about amount of hours put in. if Nigeria interesting in working the right way, it would have reflected in our whole society and we (Indians) would not really need to be here. he concluded.
The more I look at ponzi schemes every were, the more am incline to believe him. that Indian is right |

InvertedHammer: / Nigerians have "crabs in a bowl" mentality: Instead of others will be better, let all be down and suffering. They forget trickle-down effects. Why would any sane being promote another term for Buhari if not for self-hate idiocy? Nations are on fast track to economic boom. There is no room for wobbles except in Nigeria. A failure makes promises to be better when the capacity is non-existent. Surprisingly, you will have full grown adults swallowing all the fibs.
/ exactly "crab in the barrel" mentality And it's pervasive in the society |

stcool: On a more serious note results from this consumer goods sector gives a clear picture of what is really happening in this country. Purchasing power of the middle class is getting wiped out and the painful reality is our politicians don't care.
Buhari is killing this economy, I dont care what kind of corrruption he his fighting...the worst that can happen to this economy now is for us to slip back into recesssion.
If Buhari wins in 2019...that would be my goodbye to nse or maybe hold unto one stock (GTB/Zenith) and move rest of my funds into Dollar($), because we would definitely witness another recession. The only thing keeping us now is Crude oil price. you have seen the situation and captured it perfectly How can Buhari and his govt explain Nigeria 's economic state despite the increase in crude prices? |

richiepolymer: Deport all of them. Don't spare anyone. They are wicked and shortsighted ingrates. Nigerians can never ever change in attitude and behavior. They care less how their actions negatively affect other Nigerians who follow due process. They should not only deport them, they should be properly profiled and their relations also blacklisted from ever entering their country. If these hard measures are not taken, nigerians will continue to abuse and bastardize their system. Nigeria is not working today because Nigerians themselves bastardized the system but are quick to blame their politicians alone. Send them back! See how genuine students are denied at U.S embassy and how genuine applicants are turned down by Canada because of all the idiots who abused their visas? Deport them all! I hear that the embassy has been refusing so so many applications Na wa |

Learn to put your money in the bank, even those small change, and you'll earn interest on it ... especially there in Nigeria where y'all have sky high interest rates. Rubyventures: Maybe that's what makes him happy. Showing off wealth is a sign of immaturity. Maybe Nigerians should take a leaf from his book and do more for charity, instead of showing of wealth in a country overwhelmed by poverty. Most importantly its his money and if he wants to wear a $1 t shirt that's his prerogative.
Also if you need a car to get a girl something is seriously wrong. Showing off wealth is NOT a sign of immaturity it's a personality thing it's in Nigeria I know that people complain so so much about "show off" over here, no one gives a Bleep well except the bimbos who want a bite Nigerians need to change the way they think |

If you need to further your education, abeg further. If you need to get a job, get a job. move on with your life 100% back home here and a little extra comes by, you can try your luck again. if it comes, all well and good and if it doesnt, you can still conveniently feel good at home. Dont ever treat it like a do or die affair else you will have lost so much in the process and still not have a visa. even when you get the visa, you will still need funds to travel, dont waste your funds unnecessarily i ask....
i have seen people who lost it all o in the name of i must travel and still in the country suffering and committing suicide because they dont haveanything to call theirs again.
