Don't be upset. Just try to understand that we are of different tribes and languages. The Olu of my village never met or discussed with the Sultan of your village. It was one white man that joined us together to form Nigeria. Nigeria does not mean anything to anybody so we cannot join hands and protest what we don't know.

how about protesting at the state or local govt level

that's where it really starts?

Or you will also come with the excuse that the "olu" in your village did not meet the other ones in your local govt or state to form them?

Honestly!!! Nigeria is such hellhole! Nothing works here. No standards. No laws. Road transportation is a mess. Anybody can just wake up one day and start driving without training. Without learning the basic traffic rules. If you ask them they claim they are "hustling". Drunkards, drug addicts, psychotic patients, everybody is a driver. The so called FRSC is there just for the sake of being there, while the officers take bribe from defaulters of traffic rules. Many substandard transport companies like "peace mass" are there killing poor Nigerians on daily basis without the people in authority doing anything to checkmate them.

The picture in my previous post is an accident scene where "peace mass transit" roasted innocent Nigerians traveling from abuja to enugu. I lost someone close to me in that accident and it is painful!
If "peace mass" had stopped employing alcoholics and drug addicts, if they had ensured strict compliance to road transport rules, some of these deaths would have been averted. Too bad!
You are right

Very GOOD!
If you must relocate, get your papers right and move. Asylum is backdoor ojoro migration.

Also, I wish other developed countries would tighten their laws to make it harder for Africans to relocate for frivolous reasons (starting from our political class), except you have something really good to offer! And it should be on interim basis. Africans should sit their asses down and develop Africa! Those countries we are running to was built by other people.

We need more aggrieved people in Africa who are willing to drive a revolution that will birth a new Africa. Running away is not the solutuon.
Most AFRICANS CANNOT develop Africa?

They are dumb clueless and bereft of the slightest idea on what and how a developed country should be.

The worst is that thrse same dumb fvcks will not allow the Africans who can develop the place do so.

They will frustrate and in some cases kill the visionary Africans

So the visionaries have to leave the continent for the dumb fvcks to continue to bask in their foolishness and enjoy their backwardness.

Look at the elections in Africa (Nigeria inclusive)

While those with sense are looking for good candidates to vote, vast majority of dumb fvck Africans will sell their vote for peanuts, and vote based on religious and tribal sentiments

And since majority carries the vote, guess who winshuh

The fact that Buhari still has tens of millions of supporters in Nigeria is testament that the country is filled with STUPID people

ICAEW in England admits only accountant to their school just as Law school and you go through rigorous training b4 qualification. ACCA admits every one both mechanic the same pattern ICAN follows. That's the reason ICAEW is respected more in England over ACCA. The Law, Medical , Engineering profession don't give platforms for non related fields to be admitted into their profession. ANAN follows ICAEW model. ICAN realising this is cominy up with something similar and naming it university .
there is the platform for non related fields to gain entry

Especially in the U.S.

You think it's only law grads that gain access to law school?

Even in America, you go get a b.sc in whatever (science related tho) then you do yiur pre med and medical school

chikena

For CCNA that you have and other computer fields /certifications that are globally recognized, you can study whatever and still do three programs and certifications

And where are the jobs. ICAN/ACCA members are even offered 70k jobs. The demand far exceeds the supply. Rather than gathering certificates with the beggerly mentality of seeking someone to create the jobs and employ you; create the job.

The relevance of accounting is fast fading away. Any sound person who is not Chartered can perform what an average Chartered Accountant can perform. Look beyond certification. Create that job, I.T rules the world.
The supply far exceeds demand

However the person you quoted could ne right because the multi nationals have that leeway to bring foreign trained professionals, because global operations is based on IFRS

.Then as for those bloody Ghanaians, what's so special about their ICAGH that they don't recognise the ICAN cert (assuming what you said is true)

My background is accounting from secondary to uni to ACA. I'm not saying don't go for ICAN or ACCA; go if you can but note that ICAN, ACCA and auditing firms are destroying the accounting profession. Every Dick and Harry is now a Chartered Accountant. Firms are looking for value you add to their organisation not just your title. I gain jobs with my knowledge of my CCNA skills together with my accounting certs before other candidates with only accounting skills.
how is the accounting profession being "destroyed"?

And how is every tom dick and Harry now a chartered acct?

The last time I checked, 70% who start the race never finish, and there has never been a to be where up to 40% of those who wrote the professional stage became chartered in one diet.

They have set a high bar for themselves, and whoever meets up should be awarded the ACA title

nothing like destroying the profession

They always think the world start and end with been doctors. I read engineering out of choice, I have a very good qualification to be a doctor and I would have successfully been one had I wanted. Nothing makes medicine and surgery more special than any course, not even Yoruba language. The earlier you get that into your skull, the better for you.

Jman06:
You see what i have been sayinghuh Nigerian medical doctors have totally lost it! So, by this, a great majority of them will now proceed to get an MSc and PhD in the basic medical sciences so they could start teaching anatomy, physiology and biochemistry to medical students while leaving behind other lofty medical specialties. For your information, minimum requirement for lecturing is a PhD so don't even think that NUC will allow you replace PhD with MBBS because no where in the world is an MBBS equal to a PhD. So, you guys should get ready to spend years of academic research to earn a PhD.

And for the guy alluding that medical doctors know pharmacology more than pharmacists, let me inform you that every action of a drug resides in its chemical structure and studying the chemical structures of drugs is within the domains of pharmaceutical chemistry which pharmacists study for 4-5 years. Modifying the structures of these drugs through various means ( including factors within and outside the human system) changes the actions of the drugs. So, tell me how a med doctor who has no knowledge of drug chemistry would know the effects of the drug better than a pharmacist.
That you are allowed to prescribe drugs is an anomaly which has resulted to so many deaths. That is why the pharmacist must be there in the hospitals not only to ethically dispense the drugs but to also screen your prescriptions to pinpoint prescription errors.

My friends, you can never know it all! Do your parts and let others do theirs.

To achieve this, you need to scrap B.Sc. Anatomy, B.Sc. Medical Biochemistry, B.Sc. Physiology, B.Sc. Pharmacology and other Basic Medical Sciences aside Nursing at the undergraduate levels.

They have become useless courses with no clear direction as to what graduates in those fields are trained to do in the current day Nigeria.

Whoever is considering the above courses with the hope of pursuing a career in the medical field should better have a rethink. An OND in Computer Science is way better.

More than 85% of graduates in those fields are now Marketers and Sales Rep with half baked Indian pharmaceutical companies. The entire Basic Medical Courses should be phased out and reinvented to: Pharmaceutics and Medical Sales. Nigeria don't have a job for you in the medical field, the few ones you have, you won't progress even if you're willing to lick the a$$es of egocentric people. Even your Ph.D won't help you. To a typical Nigerian Doctor, an MBBS is greater than a Ph.D.
Ph.D holders without MBBS in basic medical colleges in Nigeria are some of the most frustrated people in the country. These are basic facts o
