Jonra: I understand you very much and believe that this narrative must change. We must begin to see raw materials and it's entire value chain. And regardless of obstacles, build generational businesses do you know that many of these guys come here with credit lines (Indians and Chinese especially) You think they come bare chested? I'm not making excuses for Nigerians, but they are fighting from a disadvantaged point. Who will extend line of credit to you? Even if you get the credit (mission impossible) at what interest rate? You can't compete with someone with single digit interest rates financing when you are paying almost 25% It's not going to happen The Nigerian govt should open up access to credit lines at affordable rates like it is done in China A whole lot of dynamics work against us there But one must keep trying and forging ahead, despite the disadvantage |

even if we uplift ourselves.... one war can set us back again especially if the innovators are killed... even if we uplift ourselves.... there are people within the tribe/black-race who would gladly destroy or delay what we are trying to accomplish and build e.g buhari stopped lagos rail project despite not been Yoruba, only because he had "political power" to do so, unfortunately the same Yorubas voted for him again but this is not a political discussion...
but we have to keep learning and trying....

or use the media and teach them (black people) how to constantly demean, curse themselves by using celebs...
It creates something called "plausible deniability". Our destiny is in our own hands They are humans like us We have a choice to uplift ourselves, but as the ostrich, they are burying their head in the sand Black folks are slacking big big time |

you make them reason the way you want them to reason... its about perception, deception, inception e.t.c...
the explorers and "missionaries" were here to manipulate Africans and see their military strength... that's why they came with guns and gun boats and turned manipulated/used one tribe (fulani) against the other ethnic nations in west Africa but the ethnic nations stood their ground and never backed down that's one of the reasons why they are not many here like in S.A. Like you said in one of your posts that made sense "The education Africans never had is a sense of patriotism"...
I don't shift blame... you know how to hide your hate for Africans even though you may be African Studying how they reason is what they did Sending their explorers and "missionaries" here They were sending reports back home remember? codemaniacs: u guys are naive...
when a black person living in a run down neighborhood gets money he/she leaves that neighborhood to an already established place leaving that old place the same or worst...
most black people are conditioned by western media and their own media to turn against each other.. most black people are conditioned to be materialistic..
most black people don't own the major companies like car companies, phones companies e.t.c. so the money black people makes goes back into the hands of white people which leaves the "black economy" in a bad even though there are many black people with money they are mostly consumers who don't buy or promote the "black owned version" of the products they consume.
how many Igbos outside Nigeria buy/ship Innoson's cars how many Nigerians buy Nigerian created or assembled computers
Indians in Nigeria import Tata cars to Nigeria, Asians in Nigeria own asian made cars particularly from their countries, europeans in Nigerian drive european made cars.. so the money they bring into Nigeria goes back to into their hands by purchasing products created by their fellow countrymen/women in those countries.
Africans or black people are not "wicked".... they don't understand how economics works
when you leave your village/state/country you are taking money out of your country into another country that has no company/shop/mall owned by your fellow tribes-men/country-men so you losing unless you get a job there and send money back.
which is why european/american/chinese people set up businesses in the country they go to because they have the knowledge and they the indigenous people's money and their own people money... luckily for Nigerians, many Nigerians now start businesses in other countries but not on the scale of foreigners.
white people are ruling Africa through indirect rule which means they just have to appoint presidents and tell them what to do..
It is left for the presidents to try to do their own thing and hope they don't get invaded by the same people that appointed them.. You are the one being naive here Before white folks engage you in any thing, they study you, your people, how you reason, and it is on that basis they engage you As long as their interests are met, they don't give a fvck They know Africans for who they are, and are exploiting their foolish selves to meet their ends When I was in Burkina, I mingled with all manners of people, and I got to see how the mind of an African elite work, and you are surprised that the French are still using them I have not found a Burkinabe who hates sankara, he was a good leader, better than that criminal gadaffi sef, he gave them a sense of identity, and was on the side of the masses his short stay in power achieved much much more than his predecessors, or successors But the elite did not like him, and they connived with the French multinational interests to get him out. Guess who killed him? His best friend. Whitey knows black man is power drunk, and will do anything to get it, so he exploits his foolishness to his advantage. That's the law of nature, no sentiments whitey knows that there are people coveting your seat as president, and will also exploit that too. The French don't care what you do with your resources, just don't pull the rug from under the feet of the multinationals That is why ivory coast is relatively developed, and Sierra Leone is a $hithole. Houphet balanced French interests with African interests and he built a good country Sierra Leone on the other hand are dumb fvcks. And I say it again, Africans are wicked people those of us who know, know. And saying that we are conditioned to turn against each other is shifting blame. To change this African problem.. we need to change a lot of things But those who come to change things are sabotaged |

We are not talking 1 billion naira or 2 billion naira to buy a p.j.. You can get a private jet for between $700k to $2m and then upwards But it is going to be a small jet, not a jumbo jet. Davido can actually afford one, and spread the payments He does not have to pay one off Nigerians and toxic reasoning is 5 and 6. kenevision: Sorry for the delay guys
So I was able to locate my boarding gate and queued up for boarding when it was time. We passed through the necessary checks and lined up to enter the plane. We were directed through a narrow tube that kept winding left and right and would bounce you up with every step. It felt good, I felt good too.
Then we came to a door where two white female KLM crew stood smiling at every one and muttering some word I could not hear from afar. But by the movement of their hands, I could tell they were directing people somewhere. But where? Perhaps the final stop and search point. But I thought we have done all the necessary checks? These oyibo people too dey suspect blacks sha. Little did I know
It was now my turn, standing right on the door that seemed to be vibrating from underneath, I could not make out the nature of the cozy environment I just found myself in. Perhaps this is a scanning machine about to scan us for weapons I was still lost in my world of imaginations when the lady demanded for my boarding pass. She looked at it and motioned me to the next door. Two steps through the door and the reality hit me. This is an airplane I mean AIR GODAMN PLANE! The first couch (if that is the right word) was almost filled up, as my seat number falls in the second.
Then that claustrophobic feeling started setting in on me. And with each step I took, I felt as if I was going into a tunnel of no return. I wanted to turn back and leave, at least to set my eyes on the starry sky one more time, if not the last time. But the long queue of passengers pushing through behind me only forced me to go forward. I have been desiring this moment all my life and the moment is right here. Guess I wasn't prepared psychologically.
I located my seat and sat, and immediately went into the mood of prayer. A second later a woman touches me and with an American accent said am seating on her seat. She was gentle. She was calm. Short of words, I handed her my boarding pass, she then told me that the next seat in the middle is where I should sit. Right next to her. I adjusted. And so the frenetic movements of passengers continued until everyone was settled on his/her seat.
A female crew passed by my side and perhaps noticed me handling with my phone camera. She offered to take a picture of me and I obliged. She asked if could help me with anything else. Fly the damn plane to Holland and set me free , I muttered under my breath.
Moments later, a voice from the cockpit started speaking and I could barely pick out few words. Perhaps, Pilots are trained to fly and not to talk. Same way doctors are trained to cure and not to write. Good luck trying to decode a prescription written by a doctor Then I heard something like drop in air pressure, oxygen, in case of emergency evacuation, emergency exit , I prayed even more, hoping it will not be my portion At least none of my village people is aware of my travel
We were all set for take-off. The cabin crew did their job and prepared everyone for take off. The pilot fired up the engine, sped on the run way and up we went into the sky. Few seconds after take off, I felt the plane falling backwards, a feeling I would get in my subsequent flights. I am yet to understand why that happens. Up and up into the sky we went, on our way to Holland.

ooshinibos: Ugosample understand your pain but with all the talk and more talk ..we still have not produced the necessary economic power and respect in the world even though we have the resources do this , until we own up and actual admit something is missing then the change will happen . The problem with you Ugosample African-centric activist is that you talk too much and always blame the whites for taking away your wealth ( even though this happened years ago ) , the whites have gone now , guess what , you are still blaming them , most black nations have been given the so call independence but still they are still under developed and ravaging in untold poverty and unbelievable inability to make anything happen ...at the end of the day , the chinese and the jews suffered more than most African nations but they have managed to be self reliant and thrive ..I know the answer to your problem but I will not tell you today .. Actually I don't blame the whites for anything o I was just using that as a reference that as humans we are free to migrate as you like. That said, I believe in the law of nature, what you conquer becomes yours, that is why there is a caliphate in Nigeria , and based on that, I exonerate white folks for whatever That's the way the world is. And I am not "Pan Africanist" either I think it's dumb and stupid I have studied and lived amongst my people, as well as other ethnic groups (well apart from Arabs) and I have seen how wicked and soulless a lot of Africans are. That is the main reason why Africa is fvcked Music for example is a reflection of the society, and when you listen to African (well let me say Nigerian music) all you hear is "haters" and "enemies" That aptly describes the prevalent African for you Or which other ethnic groups talk about "village people" the most. You guessed right Who does Pull him Down the most You guessed right again Who are the ones trafficking their fellow black men in their huge numbers to Arab slave holders in their numbers? black folks Even a report indicted diplomats of African diplomats I don travel and I don see enough mehn. ooshinibos: why can't a brown man develop and stay in his own country , this is why the black man will never be respected -no economic power and no presence even they have been given everything The same reason why Europeans left Europe to America and Africa to loot and cart resources back in the day What you typed makes no sense at all. Africa/Nigeria is neck deep in the ocean of ignorance and foolishness The black folk who tried to effect a change is sabotaged by that same poor, ignorant and "deplorable" populace he is trying to save So the smart, resourceful and smart ones are fleeing in their droves to climes where they will be more useful That's just the truth. Ignorance, wickedness, tribalism and barbarism that is prevalent in Africa is hindering the progress, and the frustrated ones leave Now not all of Africa is barbaric, but a huge huge chunk is (60-70% in my conservative estimate) |

We all know how unprofessionally biased the mainstream media had been against this president as well as against his tribe, region and religion; we all also know how the said media is largely owned and controlled by southern Christian PDP stalwarts like Tony, Momoh, Ben Bruce - who only yesterday was exposed lying before live TV about the alleged plot to impeach the senate president.
With such unscrupulous elements remotely controlling the media, who would trust the news nowadays and why would the president have full confidence in them to feel free to frequently grant them interviews.
