Go to places in Seoul like Itaewon and Haebanchon, Yongsan-gu and you're sure to run into a Nigerian man with his Korean wife taking a stroll. Me dey enjoy my Asian wife and pikins.... When you merry Asian wife? |

haleeberry: Nigeria is becoming India gradually with the rate of RAPE incidence. Although, some men are nt blame with d way some Women dress, walking around almost unclad, leaving nothing 4 d imagination hormonal Men. She has abused herself already by getting drunk to d point she couldn't protest when he was taking her 2 Hotel. She made herself volunrable and he took d chance. If he was forcing her 2 take more than her alcohol tolerance, she could politely refuse. I blame d girl more. Quite unfortunate 4 d guy though, just 4 10minutes pleasure highest Rape is not to be condoned at all, and don't say that the men who did the raping are not to blame because some women dress "anyhow" It that woman who dress anyhow were to be his sister, cousin or even daughter, would most men still go ahead and commit the rape? Just asking |

odomanis: When Obama made his first visit to Africa, he visited Ghana instead of Nigeria. Infact smaller countries were chosen above the "gaint". So it is not about size,it is about content. Talk another thing. What about a country with Size and Content. You think Germany/France and Belgium are on the same level in Global affairs? Or you think US and Canada is the same level in the international stage, or in anything even though they are both developed countries. Or even China and Singapore? Inthis world, size matters as much as content, if not even more. Big country = Biggee economy= Bigger Army = Greater relevance in the world Many of you will not understand, and will just be talking out of sentiment. |

Rossikki: Hope these Biafra nuts realise that when they get their tiny republic, they would become instantly marginalized and irrelevant on the global scene, and no longer attract the attention of global powers, let alone visits by their leaders etc. Afterall, Kerry isn't likely to stop over in Togo or Gambia... The same will happen to any region that splits and leave the union. The six regions are better together if the 36 states restructure and take.charge of its destiny. But disintegration will make ANY region "irrelevant" Nigeria is a Giant... |

When will we stop this foolishness of ascribing success to tribes as black men?
One tribe always wanting to show that it's better than the others, which is bullshit
The two main culprits in this silly act are the YORUBA and the IGBO people here (not all tho)
We should stop all these rubbish please |

Anwonspee: What do you think that is already happening to the Nigerian economy without the remittance?
Should I feel for them? I don't think so because they failed to assist the average Nigerians with necessary necessities.
Instead, they preferred to help themselves by only listening and responding to the so called big boys for loan with little or no collateral while they asked the average Nigerians to provide heaven and earth to scare them. You have a very valid point too. These banks have been gambling all these years, but I think a phased remittance over the next year will be more appropriate, if you know what I mean? Not just remmittamce in one full swoop. Afterall, the monies did not come in one full swoop. |

seunmsg: United Bank for Africa (UBA) $530m; First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) $469m; Diamond Bank Plc ($287m); Sterling Bank Plc ($269m); Sky Bank Plc ($221m); Fidelity Bank ($209m); Keystone Bank ($139); First City Monument Bank (FCMB) $125m; and Heritage Bank ($85m).
It is so unfortunate that these evil banks would deliberately refuse to remit a whooping $2.3bn in a period of acute forex shortage. Not even the economic challenges of the country or the free for all drop of the Naira could appeal to the conscience and patriotism of the management of these banks to remit this huge amount of money at a period when the country needs all the available dollars that can be gotten. I sincerely hope CBN and other relevant government agencies will impose more stiffer sanctions and punishment against the banks and their collaborators from NNPC. What do you think will happen to these banks AFTER the remittance? |

londoner: @martinosi, my point was why people dont demand the same when it comes to pictures about other African countries here?
People here tend to show a very glaring bias against Nigeria in such matters, I wonder why.
Even the Kenyans on their thread enjoy the pics of their country they dont demand that their fellow countrymen show the poorer parts where most Kenyans live.
Why do you think that is the case?
In your answer you didnt actually address the point I was making at all. Honestly I get your point. Nigerians are just programmed to hate their country. |

The question people do not ask, is that what will have become of Nigeria if Buhari is not in power and the looters were allowed to continued , given the current economic situation with oil price low and the NDA on rampage. Because the truth be told, the economy was already sliding down drastically before Jonathan handedover, and they (pdp) also carted way out commonwealth. What is this one saying again? Don't you know that it is the foolishness of this government that is causing this hardship? |

That's too cheap. This isn't about poverty, this is about character. She's not well brought up. But in this 21st century, if she's pretty she can get away with it, still find a boyfriend and even husband before some more decent girls
If it's here in America she's gonna be a celebrity and have her own tv show etc become a millionaire by xmas.
That's the world we live in today. That's the world for you today... Decency is no more a criteria for marrying women again. If Tonto dike and Kim Kardashian can get married, and have a family to be proud of, I kid you not when I say that this one sef can get husband to marry.
