GEJ was a weak president, thats why he only served 1 term. Nigeria is not a country you can run by rule of law. Rule of law applies to environments where the citizens and all the other political actors respect rule of law.

The funny thing is that the Oluwadamilare guy that decided to stab someone now will be in jail crying like a baby and blaming the devil. That's the hilarious thing about these impulsive guys who like to attack Nepa without thinking.
One guy in my area did the same thing and was arrested. He didn't even stab he just brought out a knife and was threatening the woman that came to work. As soon as he was arrested, come and see full grown man crying like a baby with his nose running and all. Lol

This is indeed cruel even though I am very sure it could all have been avoided with just a lil humility and respect for the men in uniform. It also clearly shows one of the major demerits of substance abuse wherein after, fully uniformed military man standing right in front of you totting a gun will appear like a bloody NURTW official wielding a stick to control erring drivers who want to evade collecting tickets.
