Every state in nigeria that builds anything should be thankful to the Oil producing states/communities for the funding which their resources has provided for.
Business › Re: Dangote Sells 1.5 % Of Cement Company To Buy Chevron Oil Wells In Bayelsa by ujoinme(op): 2:39am On Jun 15, 2013
Nigerias richest man sells 1.5% stake in the cement business to buy the chevrons oil wells off the coast of bayelsa state that is currently in the market.
this move is not unconnected to the refinery that he is about to build in Nigeria. It is believed that this purported oil wells will provide crude oil for the new refinery.
Calls placed to the lagos head office of the company for confirmation were not returned.
Our source believes that the company does not want this information out in the public yet as negotiations on the deal is still ongoing and pending the approval of the nigerian government.

One computer generated image of a proposed road project and fools are all over the net shouting up and down about development.
Country people nigeria is full of proposed projects/ abandoned ones. I would advice you to wait till at least the project is under construction to celebrate.
Dont mean to burst your bubble but proposed/abandoned projects is a well known nigerian fact!

WHY? BECAUSE OF YOUR SKEWED SEXIST DISPOSITION? IN ACTUAL FACT I THINK WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP POSITION IS THE ANSWER TO NIGERIA CORRUPTION PROBLEM.I PREDICT THAT THE STATE THAT WILL VOTE IN THEIR FIRST FEMALE GOVERNOR IN THE COUNTRY WILL SEE TREMENDOUS GROWTH.

Ido osun airport only exist in your fantasy eko ole. hate to burst your bubble mate but wake up, it was just a dream!
But its not too late, start with the construction like i said then give it whatever name you want. And dont get it twisted, I am in support of every state + city and town in nigeria to have airports and let free market forces determine which one will thrive, so i will be amongst the first to celebrate Ido osun airport or whatever name it might be called.
But i just prefer to live in the real world celebrating real things ,unlike you who live in a fantasy world.

payless: Post the pictures of the said roads in Enugu and Katsina for everyone to see. The point is not about what the Governors in SW are doing, it is about what plan they have out there executing for people to enjoy dividend of democracy. These are states that PDP stole many mandates that did not belong to them and stole trillions of naira with nothing to show for it.

Put up or zip it.
You will have to post one standard road that your mini god Argbesola has completed to deserve the kind of propaganda praises leveled on him then can you ask for enugu/ katsina roads.

^^^^^^^ World class water works with the largest budget in Nigeria..

lmao
The www.uncommontransformation.tv website that i introduced u to highlights the giantic development strides of the government of akwa ibom state.
Your discription or attempt to belittle what has been done in the state is akin to that of the blind men who were asked to describe the elephant and they all described the part they were able to feel, that rural water project is part of the overall 6000 completed project in the RURAL parts of the state notice it is refered to as RURAL.
If you care, ask your other tribalistic ACN Blind laptop dogs to turn in the other parts of what they felt in the web site am sure you might be able to get the full picture then.
But for unbiased nigerian not given to cheap propaganda nor blinded by tribalism i know they acknowledge the truth in Akwa ibom.

Any one who does not take responsibility for their actions is a kid.Amaechi ahould take responsibility for betraying his SS brother the president by liasing with the opposition.
SS know who the traitor is and his name is Amaechi
Shifting blame and casting aspersion on Akpabio is not going to help him. Amaechi and his supporters should grow up and face realities go apologise and cooperate with the ongoing anti party investigation with PDP.

Why the need to bulldoze the building? they should do their job, the building is not in their way of investigation. If the owner is tried and convicted with the crime the building should he confiscated by the govt. as is done in civilized society. bulldozing the mart amount to overdramatization,SSS should do their job i.e gather evidence to solve the crime and leave drama for Nollywood

frankgreat: don't be bias, fine he did not pay, and when they called him back to pay, he came back to pay rit? And this process doesn't take more than 10 minutes, so why the 1hour 30mins delay? Dis aint demmocracy anymore
Where's the bias? the only bias thats in these thread is your act of ascribing political victimization to a case of gross criminal evation of govt. tax/dues and abuse of The national airspace.
How do you know that the process takes only ten minutes? Has any chartered flight been recalled after take off for not paying its dues and cleared within 10 mins in any airport in nigera? I challenge you to show a proof and untill you do your are just ranting and wallowing in your bias.
Politics › Re: NAMA Grounds Oshiomhole’s Chartered Helicopter Over Aerodrome & Landing Fee by ujoinme:
ilugunboy: Stop trying to intellectually defend the indefensible my guy...the status of the Governor on-board the chopper should have been enough guarantee. Whether you like it or not he is not just an ordinary Nigerian and therefore deserve some decorum of respect....

Do you honestly believed that those that made the recall were not acting on instruction from higher authority or you actually agree that the recall is routine?
What has decorum to do with paying allotted fees/tarrif? Real Decorum is paying all fees on time.It is your contourted interpretation of the word status/decorum that swells the heads of any Nigerian in authority and give them the air of invincibility, such that their pilot/drivers/PA/boy boy/ family feel because of their ogas status, required fees should not be paid?
Guy the country losses revenue when this goes on.
I know Even Gov. Adams will agree with me on this. He spent his lifetime fighting for the rights of nigerian workers.
and the article said he asked the pilot to go do the right thing. Pay your dues and taxes to the government thats the duty of every citizen to his country. Nigerian citizen irrespective of status are not excluded from that rule. and stop blaming politics for everything.

omenka: You still wouldave made a good point without necesarily telling us you are from "North America" and your kids atend an elite school. Kinda takes a huge chunk off the substance in your post.
Why? are u anti- North america or against private school? In my view it adds to the substance of his post that after his time in Americas and with the oil company,he can still make a living in the private sector in calabar to ensure his wives and kids happiness. mind you if u have a family you know that their happiness is very vital.
I would say bravo to CRS goverment for creating such enabling environment that these guy painted.
Are you telling us that Jang,Akpabio and the other Jonathan's bootlickers pay that fees everytime prior to their fight take-off ?
If they dont their plane should be recalled just like oshimoles own was recalled and made to pay the required fees.
Stop bringing politics to everything.
Nigeria can only move forward if the right thing is done and the right thing if for everyone irrespective of societal status to pay thier fare share rather than use ther status to scurry favours that hurt the nation revenue.
P/S Does anyone here really believe that the president has nothing else to do than to monitor the airspace to grant passes to governors who can fly or not? grow up guys. Nigerian leadership has its faults and there are better ways to highlight such faults than to blame the Fed govt. for the ill doing of a pilot carried away by the status of his passenger in order to circumvent airport fees.

Omen100: And now, this is getting out of hand and something has to be done about it. I hope none of the FG apologists will open the gutter they called mouth to tagged Oshiomhole a traitor. angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry
Am not a pilot dont claim to know how these things work.but i do take buses and i know you have to pay you fare before u sit down in the bus. and the bus driver has to pay the motor park official (NURTW) for using the park before he drives off with his passengers.
The governor was not in the wrong here he probably paid for his chattered flight. but the pilot should have done his due by paying aerodome fees and satisfied all conditions well ahead of time of the flight to avoid the embarrasment.
Did he assume that because his passenger was the governor hence he didnt have to pay his bills? If nigeria must move forward then this big mannism trait must be curbed.
Country people everything in Nigeria is not about politics only politicians want you to believe that so they can further their agenda. This one is a case of common sense.

Garri the 1st: I'm a Deltan FYI, but let me tell you something that seems to escape your notice, since 1999 when we started voting our leaders what have they done with the money they receive monthly from FG?? You boast of what's under the ground forgetting that it's people above the ground that will manage such resources.

Can you show me how sensibly the Niger-Delta leaders have been managing their allocation? Resources under the ground
translates to nothing if you don't have capable leaders at the helm to manage it.

The question is:

How capable are the leaders from Niger-Delta??

How have they used the trillions that has been pouring into the region for over 14 years now??
Nigeria has been recieving several trillions for over 5 decades from the oil wealth of Niger Delta. When you show me what nigeria's leaders have done with those trillions recieved for many decades then you can have the impetus to ask what Niger delta has done. Stop these charade, Ask Nigeria federal govt. and the sum of all its parts those question you raised first before you single out the niger delta. Is the delta not part of nigeria? what they are doing with the allocation is the same thing Nigeria as a whole is doing with their resourses.
