Eko Ile: Even if den rob you blind and even take away your daily bread, mumu like you go still dey look the other way and keep shouting bigotry at other people to wipe away your sorrow...

That's double jeopardy for you. loser.
Why dont you champion the cause of your yoruba brothers that are being robbed blind by their governors if you care that much. Akwa ibom does not need you to fight for them. Charity begins at home win your battles at home then it will prep you for the bigger war EKO OLE.By the way Akwa ibom people are satisfied by the performance of their governor and like any other state will like to see more done and akpabio still has till 2015 going by his track record of performance, that only bigots like you cannot acknowledge the people of akwa ibom believe that more will be done in the state. If every governor in nigeria performed like akpabio in terms of infrastructural development nigeria will be great even with attendant fruad which is perculiar to nigeria his ratio of allocation:achieveable/visible infrastructure is impressive. considering the prevaling corrupt environment.

Since nothing is on ground in Akwa Ibom according to your evaluation. Why dont you show us what qualifies as development in your home state,Prof EKO OLE so Akwa Ibom governor can learn from it,because this one does not cut it. https://www.nairaland.com/1238225/massive-construction-going-ogun-state and until you have something better to show well discerning forum members, my humble advise will be for you to stop your tribal onslaught of derailing threads that show case other parts of the country.or change your username as you have done many times already. A tribal beclouded person of your kind suffering from a little man syndrome that is obvious to everyone on this forum, is always unable to see anything good in others.even without meeting you in person prof Ole we know you are challenged in height. it must hurt to be a little man!

Arnold Ekpe: Ecobank Legend Says Farewell
Arnold Ekpe, CEO of Ecobank International, is one of a handful of African business champions who have become legends during their own lifetimes. The tall, bespectacled Nigerian is quietly spoken and probably the most modest CEO I have ever come across. He inhabits the world of finance and banking with an ease and grace that comes from uninterrupted success.

There is little doubt that the story of Ecobank under Ekpe’s leadership has been one of continuous success. It has subsidiaries in 32 countries in Africa and 1,140 branches across the continent. It is the first true indigenous African multinational – a genuine pan-African institution. If it was regarded as something exotic during its early days, it is now an essential cog that makes the continental financial system work. Ekpe was born in Nigeria but also lived for a while in Cameroon. He describes himself as a perennial nomad – studying engineering at Manchester University then crisscrossing the continent for Citibank. He obtained a first class engineering degree and a master’s in business administration but decided to go into banking after stints in industry.

Even a conversation of a few minutes with him is sufficient to reveal a formidable intellect and an acute eye for detail. In his early forties, he became CEO of Ecobank – then in desperate financial straits despite the noble principles on which it had been founded. The pan-African nature of the bank had been the main attraction for Ekpe but he found himself at odds with the board on the strategy and structure of the bank. He left, but was recalled four years later when the board realised that his vision was the only practical one.

The innovative and most technically advanced banking system he supervises today is a different from the institution he took over in 1996 as the Boeing Dreamliner is from the propeller-driven biplane of yesteryear.

Ekpe will leave his post at the end of this year, in step with company policy, and hopefully write his memoirs. His successor, Thierry Tanoh, will join the bank in July to work alongside him.

Ekpe is married to ‘the same woman all my life’ and has three children. He was a ‘decent’ footballer and is an avid fan of Manchester United. Arnold Ekpe may leave banking but African banking will not leave him alone – he has far too much to contribute to be able to fade away into the background.
The following interview with Arnold Ekpe was conducted by African Banker Editor, Anver Versi.http://africanbusinessmagazine.com/african-banker/interviews/arnold-ekpe-ecobank-legend-says-farewell

EzeUche: Niger Delta people, now you know who your enemies are and it is not the Igbos.

Look either North or South West and you shall see the true faces of your enemies.
FYI ND/SS are not are not in a regional enemy-haunt. The Northern, SW or SE ownership of the oil wells is not the case up for debate in the senate now. the case is for HCF/PIB which is for the interest of the whole nation.just so you know the SS is the most nationalistic region in nigeria case in point our willingness to share and negotiate with other regions for resources thats originally ours, which we all know if it belonged to other regions the case would be different today.
Oil wells ownership came up as a result of northern senators opposition to the bill. What the SS wants at the moment is passage of the bill in the senate Nigerian of all strata are welcome and have always been welcomed to invest in SS/ND region an resources as much as the multinationals are.But what we are clamoring for is to let the Host communities benefit from their resources and we all know thats the right thing to do.

Have you asked where 87% goes? by the way BH can bomb its territory all it wants! the only people i feel for is the innocent that get caught up in the violence. If they have a demand they should bring it to the floor of the senate and debate it as The ND is doing.
ND demands HCF and the sooner the Northern senators and the likes of you accede to that demand the better. the rest is just bickering

maybe thats why iraq untill recently was an occupied territory and is today at the verge of becoming a failed state due to insecurity and kuwait is in relative peace and prospering.
Thanks for your very insightful comment on the issue.

ecosanders: ahah c dis 1 hw many una b 4 ND? Ordinary BH cough una kip quiet wen ur militants say dey wil tak d fight 2 dem. Just shutup n dnt pray 4 war.
Just so you know war is not about numbers its about resources and resourcefulness case in point whats the population of kuwait? Its what you have that purveyors of war ie the world superpowers stands to gain from the people that determines the outcome of wars!
keep thinking that if there is ever war in Nigeria that the superpowers will come to the aid of the majority region. The reality backed by history is that resources wins all the time. You can keep dreaming all you want but the ND know the truth. the western countries cares only for their interest only, tell me what interest europe and america has in boko haram region. Now is the time to negotiate with the ND while you still can all they are asking is HCF. support that and stop all the threat is scares no one. BH has nothing on ND millitants!

miiraaj: Are you just realising? It has long been acertained and proven that most south south people are dull and myopic 'starting with their grandpagrandmumu Edwin Clark, GEJ and the cocroaches in this forum.
Yet the "dull and myopic" SS'ner is your president. If indeed he is dull which i doubt then he is just continuing in the tradition of dull and myopic leaders nigeria have always had! He is not worse than Obasanjo,IBB,Abacha nor the rest of the fold that we have had as leaders.
on the contrary he is the only Nigerian president who has written a doctoral thesis. So if your observation were to be based on fact you would have acknowledge that fact but i think you are going off on stereotype, and primitive tribalistic view which indeed say a lot about your person.
Politics › Re: Owners Of Oil Wells In Nigeria Unveiled By Segun Adeniyi by ujoinme:
when one individual/persons who owns an oil block that was fraudulently given to them based on their connection to who ever was in office earns more money than an oil producing state/community monthly, and some Nigerians have the nerve to oppose Host community funding!
and Tag honorable men and women who are clamoring for HCF which is the right thing to do with foul word. Yet we have the illusion of pretending that we can progress as a nation. Until injustice addressed and we learn to call a spade what it is and be willing to put ourselves in one another shoes, and try to feel or imagine their pain we will not progress as a nation.
I now use these forum to call an all progressive thinking Nigerian to call, email or send a letter to their representative/senator in the national assembly to support the HCF/PIB its the right thing to do! stop the name calling.

Still waiting for the real rebuttal of the senators %'s in ownership? If the North does not own 83% of the indigenous operated wells, what percentage do they own? can the wise Adeniyi's of Nigeria Provide the answer or even better the originally accused Northerner Rulers of Nigeria themselves?
Politics › Re: Owners Of Oil Wells In Nigeria Unveiled By Segun Adeniyi by ujoinme: 7:50am On Mar 14, 2013
django1: The SS people are quite greedy too if you look at them well, first they get a huge amount in allocation, the oil companies located on their soil pay their community leaders a lot of money, all sorts of special previledges are granted them, but these leaders and politicians keep cornering all the money, and many towns and villages don't even have a clinic, yet the village chief go get house for Lekki!
If they can't manage the money they are being given now, do you think they'll use proceeds of oil wells if given to them to improve the lives of average Niger Deltan?
********************************
For the records too, most of Nigeria most productive oil wells are not even on shore ND.
What? given by who? you mean the money from their natural resource? you mean they dont have the right to mismanage their money or wealth? if so tell me what the rest of Nigeria has been doing with its share of oil resources? The SS and ND Has all the right to manage/mismanage their wealth in whatever way they deem it fit bro.

omo alaro: Some people just hate northerners with passion. Where in all of these did the senator got his 83% from? And he has succeeded in inciting and attracting more hatred for northerners.
Telling the truth is not hating in fact not telling the truth is the real hate. the Honorable senator was conveying the true sentiment of his oppressed constituency of SS at the senate floor on the continued marginalization of his people by those other regions who feel that Nigeria belongs to them to do as they please including resources of the nation.
How is clamoring for HCF a bad thing? Have you guys ever been to the real oil producing communities of the SS? you honestly believe they dont' deserve better? why should any justice loving Nigerian/senator be against the HCF?
The reason for the 83% northern ownership came up as a result of northern senators opposition to the HCF. And you guys should not forget that!!
For equitable Nigerians like me, The opposition to HCF is the real hatred not clamoring for whats rightfully yours, lets not forget that if the majority of oil belonged to either the North,SW or any other region besides the SS. there would not be a all these talks, debates or negotiations, they would have had absolute control of their regional resources. And history proves these, case in point the hay days of Nigerian dependence on agric.
