zamirikpo: please what stanbic ibtc branch gave u these rates and did they have any restrictions as it concerns the 50m dmo issue. Their area 3, garki , abuja.....said is from their investment department from Head office.....am yet to be debited. ....I will notify the house when I calculate from the debit alert. ....what I was told was that CBN refused to bid for individual investors with less than 50M in the Primary market. ...rather i was given the above rates to choose from in the secondary markets which I chose 364days. ...,am waiting for the debit alert to confirm. . |

Am dealing with head office directly.....they are getting the quoted rates from secondary market of today. ....let's see the debit alert and calculate if what I was told above is true... |

awesomeJ: I think most banks will yet offer rates that are within 200 basis points of CBN's stop rate. StanbicIBTC and FBN should be among the top 5 offering the most attractive rates. competition will eventually moderate their actions as per ripping off. not just inter bank, but also intra market competition, if they should try ripping off excessively, it won't be long before smart investors start boycotting their offers for other instruments in the market. I think what really poses more threat to money market rates right now is the news of inflation tapering. I think beginning from Q2'17, we could start seeing inflation figures below 17% partly due to the fact that there's already a high Q2'16 base. The new FX policy is also expected to in the least prevent any further worsening in the inflationary trend. I expect the MPC to hold rates in their upcoming meeting this month, but perhaps when they meet in May, they may want to consider a cut, which will signal the beginning of a lower money market rates period. remember this era of high rates has been on for about 9 straight months since June 2016, basically because the CBN was hoping to attract FPIs with it, so by May, they may think that it's time to reconsider the decision since, it's really done nothing but increase the debt service cost of the FG. Bottom line, whoever has spare cash would be better off doing long-tenor T-bills, or normal FGN bonds to lock up on these current rates, because rates could start crashing after May's MPC meeting. Let's not let this current sweetness make us forget that we have cycles in this market of ours. Nice night to everyone. God bless. Very intelligent analysis. ....exactly my thoughts..... Weldone |

is it advisable to go into Mutual Fund in 2017?
FBN MMF customer care is annoyingly too slow, is there a better Mutual Fund Company with less complexity and better customer service?

feelamong: PLEASE I BEG FOR YOUR PERMISSION AS I POST THIS IMPORTANT INFO******
A few months ago i discovered Bitcoins through someone in this forum!
After buying for some time and hoping for an increase, i noticed that the price fluctuates and as such could be tradeable (Buying at times of low and selling at times of High)
This led me to searching for reputable coys that I could Invest my Bitcoins with so that they trade for me.
I found one and did a research on them to be sure they are reputable.
The coy is CRYP TRADE CAPITAL...they are based in SPAIN
They actually guarantee at least 17% monthly return (Dollars) on your Bitcoins investment.
I have invested here for the past 3 months and just felt i should share!
You can pm me for further info.

Team16: feelamong. Please I need your help. I sent my bid for 364 days at my rate of 18.39% with Gtbank and my account officer told me that my bid failed at that rate. Please what do you think about this. Stop rate yesterday was 18.449%. He was saying crab about bank having to make profit and all those stuffs. From all I could get is that, GTB bids at a higher rate and sell to its customers at a lower rate in order to make their own profit off your money. So anything higher than their rate won't be submitted because they don't make money off it. Please any Gtbank debit higher than 17.9% should comment. Thanks I have bidded at my own rate successfully via GTB,and was debited. ..not with their own small rates... Learn how to call head office with all these banks. ...and let them know you have very apt knowledge of NTB programme. ....Just request you want to speak to Mr Agbale....MD of GTB ....you can even Google his email and send him an email of your problem. .......next time your account officer misses your call...he or she will start panicking. .....I dislike DISHONESTY. .. |

Uzee24: Is it possible for one to stay 3days after the auction without recieving an alert and his account officer says his bid went through. Went to my bank 2day to know if my bid was successful after I did not hear from by bank however, the account officer i submitted my application to said I should expect my alert today. Experienced members in the house, does it take that long for ones account to be debited if his bid was successful? Considering the fact that people in the house have gotten alert since early morning thursday. If it's stanbic ibtc bank. ..expect alert from 8pm today....that is the usual time am being debited after successful auction on wednesday. |
