Thanks. Pls how can I go about this Tourist visa application,how much does it cost in its application and how much naira equivalent should I have for self sustenance till I get doctor job in T&T. Also, is there assurance u will get d job after d 6month period. Also how much is d newest doctor's pay in T&T compare to naija.

frank94: what I mean is that you should apply for letter of good standing at mdcn lagos.lagos will forward the letter of good standing to abuja,abuja will forward to the secretary medical council of Trinidad and Tobago Eric Williams medical complex champ flues Trinidad. But before you apply for this letter of good standing,make sure you have your tourist visa at hand because this letter of good standing last for 3months.you will also need police report of good character for job application.you will also come to Trinidad with all your original certificates and licenses I mean current licenses.make sure you come here with enough bta to sustain you till you start working, unless you want to do meanual job like security or construction to sustain your self r
Till you get through in general hospital port of Spain.note it takes time to get this doctors job here like 6 to 8 months period because of the slow in trinidad administration. Any other thing let me know I'm so much busy now that's why I reply late.

frank94: Bro you have to come over here to process this work permit.a lot is involve in it and it will take you 6months to get the work permit here and start work. Note if you did not graduate from any of this schools as a medical doctor Dont bother your self coming here because they won't employ you.university of Ibadan,university of lagos ,unn ,univer of Benin ,they deal with major federal universities in Nigeria.you also have to a credit your certificate as a doctor at abuja before coming here.then when you get to Trinidad you apply with north central regional authority, they are the ones to apply for your work permit and post you to the general hospital in port of Spain or general hospital in Scarborough Tobago. But note the work permit takes time to be out because it involves a lot of process you will do when you get here.so you only have option of coming with a social visit visa with all your credentials intact,and also you will learn how to have patience because Trinidad administration is to slow what will take one month month to process in other countries will take 2 months to process in trinidad.any other question ask I'm ready to help

frank94: for the one that need info about doctors salary in Trinidad and tobago,its very reasonable,compare to what doctors are paid back home,and one good thing is that its very easy as a medical practioner for you to migrate easily to australia USA or canada to practise.search for portal corncerning port of spain general hospital or any other private hospital here that can organise work permit for you.dont try and seek for agent help to avoid ,any other thing let me know

Fhemmmy: Thanks and will surely see what i can get you, but would have been easier if you dont mind something that MIGHT have been in an accident before, mind you these wont be something that was in accident and brought to Nigeria to fix oh, these would be rides that were in accident and have been fixed here in Canada or USA, certified for the road again and has been on the road for years with no issues.

Something with no accident record at all are a little more expensive . . . But we are still looking.

LE model are not too cheap either, so by the time we add all the conditions together, making the prices to be over your budget . . . . but we are not giving up.

Fhemmmy: That explain the reasons why i dont do anything that low, cos even if i buy the ride for 1,000$$ . . . adding the 1800$$, that is 2800$$ (453,600 Naira) to land to Port and another 230K Naira to clear if it is within the year and that will be (683,600 Naira); Another 10,000 Naira to take it from Port to where we park cars and if i add another 500$ for my own wahala . . . that is already above 750K Naira.
Now the question is how many reliable ride that is neat and clean can you buy at 1000$?
This is why i said, we have to always explain things to our people and they can understand, it is not as easy as it seems
