I know you didn't ask me and perhaps I should be minding my own business. However, investment decisions are best made after a lot of PERSONAL investigation. Don't bank on what someone says. Train your instincts, you'd be better for it.
thanks my oga... you are very correct....also I want to learn from those that have gone a head of me ...your advise is highly welcomed.
thanks once again.

You don't need to notify the registrar. Your information is passed on to the registrar by CSCS. But you may go ahead and request for a "Transfer form/signature mandate form" from your broker. The registrar MAY request for your signature specimen if they don't have it and it also depends on the warrant value. They might just post if the value is not much.

I stand to be corrected.

thanks....but must I submit the e- dividend form via my stock broker before payment?

Their registrar is United Securities.............You will have to download their e-dividend form and submit to them or wait for Access to mail you your dividend warrant............You don't need to notify them that you have bought their stock................Thats the duty of the registrar and once you buy before the closure date, you will be on their register.......................
OK, I should submit the e- dividend form via my stock broker to their registrar before the deadline of dividend payment?

Before you move your funds, try and compare the basics.

Most of these investment houses have their own %. I think 0.05% or so and how long you will be investing.
By the time, you move your funds, charges , tax etc... will you be on the positive or negative?

Sometimes, Most banks their secondary markets are even better than the primary.

I know I got a better offer from the last secondary market than if I were to take the primary option.
OK. I want 365 days NTB come September 3rd...

what of the access bank shares question I asked.?

thanks

Patience is the key as per Access...........I have said it before if you remember that it reach 4.50k before it will rebound but thanks to their right issue it created a new low at 4 and here is the rebound...............Maybe FBNH will pay by March considering the fact that they are not raising money from right issue.................By next year,I won't by Access until it reach the final low.............
Oga Angelo,

Pls Am a newbie...

Should I buy access bank shares now or I should wait till maybe next week for the share to fall down to 4.0?
I want to benefit this their dividends....

Also how low do you think access share may fall after paying this dividend?

How will I notify access registrar (united security) that am a new access share holder if I buy the share today so that I will benefit this their dividends come September 3rd..

Kindly waiting for your answers...

Other stock guruys in the house, pls advise me...
Thanks.

CBN doesn't have the calendar for your request; however it's easy to know the dates. Last NTB auction was Aug 19th; the previous one was 5th, and the one prior was July 22nd. So, essentially add 14days consecutively and you'll get your Sep-Dec schedule.

Next bid would be Sep 2nd, and it's advisable you issue your instruction to your bank rep 1wk in advance.

Also notable fact is that 364-day tenors are done once a month, as opposed to 91 and 182day tenors.
so I can bid for 365-day tenor come 3/9/2015?
your response is highly appreciated.

IMO it has to do with interests...some people don't enjoy the number game even though they read courses related to managing numbers or work in an industry that requires dealing with numbers. Also, be ready to be involved in a discussion where you say something and a banker says something contrary and everyone thinks due to the nature of his job, he must be right. Information is key and the more the give out; the more you get...call it positive reinforcements
@ Oga Carpenter and other gurus, please do you have 4th quarter calender(September-December 2015) calender for Nigerian Treasury Bills.
Any link? I couldn't see it in CBN website.
I need it urgently.
Thanks.

For those who need to know historical and current rates (which CBN website delays in releasing), go to this website and search for NTB Auction, then click on your date of interest.

TBills are usually done roughly every 2 weeks. See attached for August 19th results. You're welcome! grin
Please can I get a link on NTB calender for 4th quarter 2015(September-December2015)
I need it URGENTLY.
Thanks.

when and where did you invest?
have you tried sending a mail to customer care requesting for your statement (not certificate) ? if you haven't do that, if that doesn't work let me know
I have sent several SMS to the customer care and my account officer to no avail until a minute ago, a customer care called me, informing me that some technical issues are delaying my getting my statement.....

How can I change my account officer? Am not satisfied with him....name withheld....I will call him and send sms several times for enquiries, he has not even reply my mails nor call me.... Is very annoying.

Someone in this thread complained bitterly about poor customer care of investment one financial services Ltd, I think I agree with him..
You guys have to SERIOUSLY IMPROVE ON YOUR CUSTOMER CARE.

PLEASE DON'T REPORT ME IN YOUR OFFICE OOOOO

Really Stanbic is my best for now.

Investment one VGIF formerly KGIF offers 11% net of any amount invest with clause of you earning more 35% depending on the yield. The advantage of this over the rest is that the interest is gurranteed while the other funds a mentioned the rates are not gurranteed.
http://investment-one.com/index.php/products/vgif

That will be all for now, choose wisely
Please why is Investment One financial services Ltd not given me my e certificate of my VGIF investment after 1 month... Both my account officer and my mails to their customer care proved unsuccessful.. Can you help me get the e- certificate?
