It is chicken change and you're questioning - my goodness |
These towns are waka go entry points - no one disturbs you for paperwork going from one place to another. Once you move 150km from the coastal plain in west africa - freedom don reign. Which is why smuggling is so big. I crossed from Togo to Ghana on bike dirt track 50 km north of kpalime - the border guard under the tree waved at me. Try this in Lome and see action/reaction at play. |

PinkStarsFallIn:They are not eating that food, believe me. LOL. Nothing do you with that kind of veg and fruit. |
Goodman247:Your mama born you well! The shapes there are incredulous, soporific, cocacolabilical, phantasmic...and their vibe and demeanour is very relaxed. |
Oga, first of all. Let'e be fair...what mistakes have you made in the marriage (you said cheating, already abi) anything else. Anything else, she has done to you? When did this behaviour come to the surface? Be upfront, then we can choose the right avenue of behaviour. |
Chuzoetoh:No mind am ; we know that the hypocrisy is real. The country has been built on the blood of the East, in the same way that the US was built on the blood, sweat and tears of Afro-Americans. No be small ting. Orkar lives!

You ever chop 'Tchep' or 'Tieboudienne' from those Senegalese madams in the CBD. That food sweet me pass! I saw big changes in mentality there from visiting numerous times from 2008 to 2018. Previously, they thought they were French, just living in Ivory Coast. As Frantz Fanon said, 'Black Skin, White Mask'. However after Operationn Licorne they done see how the French just see them as ni55ers so they have begun to re-orient themselves as Ivorians and Africans first. As for the women, my goodness...the knacking there is different gravy. Every shape madam, but if you like small waist to azz ratio - your eye go yapa! |
OP - I hail una! I first went to CIV in 2008, as I made friends within the Ivorian community in London. I shot a documentary in Abidjan about their music called 'Coupe Decale' which is a precursor to the 'Naija afrobeats' scene. I stayed in a friend's house which his dad earned through politics. When I say big man, the house had no less than 20 rooms, of which myself and another film-maker stayed in. That was the first wave of Coupe so artists like Molare, Douk Saga, Tevecinq, Djassacite were all ruling and the vibe was fire. My French was ok when I arrived but improved quickly as I stayed there for 6 weeks. Our driver at the time, was part of Gbagbo's presidential guard, who later fled to Italy after the civil war with Ouattara. I was watching TV once that year and a newscaster was speaking on location, rapping fluent francais. Then her name came on the screen, Chima Okere, I jumped up from the chair. Haba. My friend, Aka - a Bete - then told me about the first wave of Igbos who were offered refuge after our civil war. The majority of them settled in Treichville but obviously bought land/property in other places and moved into other suburbs. Post filming, I had to go and send e-mails in the internet shops - that was when you go hear full strength naija pidgin as the boys were hustling hard on the PC screens. Clearly, there are good and bad, our problem as Nigerians is that we complain about naija and then go to other countries to behave in the same way that messed up Nigeria. That is wrong. However, being hard-headed, a large minority will follow that route. Have you been to Grand Bassam/Assinie as those places are super chilled and relaxing. As for Ivorians, I got a lot of X for them, as they do share and are kinder and more open than Nigerians generally. Anyway, I don speak my own. More Fire |
Livescores:Talent is universal, language is not. The coaches want to work with players that understand French. They have no time to wait to teach anyone, so anglophone talent must be 20% better than anglophone. If you can go to a FCFA country, learn the language, adapt and get into a club, cool. |
Livescores:Paris, Lisbon, Brussels is full of young players brought over by scammers and left stranded in hotels. If I was you, I would focus on training and playing at a good level in West Africa till end of the year as Coro don scatter football leagues all over. |
You seen the film about those people who escaped from a Prison in Russia and crossed the Himalayas on foot. Chai! |

Leave all of these imported religions alone - they stole our creation of One Supreme , Creator of the Universe, predated by several thousand years that of the Hebrews, Islam and Judaism. Black Africa was the chief source of 'The Land of the Gods'. |
WTF is 'received with nostalgia'. This is linguistic homicide, haba! |
Children of Hate feeding the step-children of poverty. This kind of hate fit feed the world. |

He died in March, they just used the past 3 weeks to arrange extra looting (from his private accounts) under an expired name. These ppl are terrible fraudsters and criminals! Naija is fukd - the Daura mafia has been exposed. I respect love scammers more! |
Na...Was in abuja for a few days to do small business. Went to see my cousin and in-law to see how they do.. One new build villa in Lokogoma. He is a Pastor in new generation church, all those things no matter for my brain, because I believe in african spirituality and our traditional gods. So, they arranged food for me on their table, I began to chop as they were bringing me drinks, pepper, napkin. In front of me was a bread bin, so as I used the first napkin to dry my greasy lips, I was looking for another one, so opened the bin. It was stuffed full of USD in rolls. I just closed the bin sharply, like I never see anything and moved on. This life too short sha. |
Dickson Etuhu, the former Manchester City, Preston, Sunderland and Fulham midfielder, has been banned from football in Sweden for five years after being found guilty of matchfixing. In November the Nigeria international was found guilty of attempting to fix a match between IFK Gothenburg and AIK in 2017. Etuhu was fined and ordered to serve a period of probation but avoided a prison sentence, with his lawyers still planning to take his case to Sweden’s supreme court. Spanish footballers arrested over La Liga match-fixing claims Read more However, the Swedish Football Association has now taken action to ban the 37-year-old Etuhu and the former IFK Rössjöholm player Alban Jusufi for “deliberately trying to persuade an Allsvenskan player to underperform in one of their team’s matches”. The decision also details the findings of the court, which was told that Etuhu and Jusufi met the AIK goalkeeper Kyriakos Stamatopoulos on 16 May 2017 at a Stockholm restaurant, where the bribery attempt took place. Stamatopoulos was offered around £160,000 (SEK2m) to underperform during a match against IFK Gothenburg but the former Canada keeper reported their approach and as a result the match was postponed the next day. Etuhu moved to IFK Rössjöholm from AIK in August 2017, shortly after the bribery attempt.

itsme01:Thunder strike you there. Lets talk about the massive looting down by Buhari's cabal. family and Daura kin. For one, they should sell Bubu's son's motorbike and buy rice and beans to disperse. |
Some fool will come and say they are accommodating us. LOL. Is it not in man's spirit to do business. Or should we all sit down and count coconuts from dawn to dusk. ![]() I salute my Guangzhou warriors. |
