It was introduced by the Catholic Church. We converted a pagan celebration on Dec 25 to celebrate the birth of our Lord.

The word "christmas" and the celebration is a Catholic invention. So if you are against the Catholic practises that are not expkicitly found in the Bible, you should join the JWs and avoid Christmas celebration.

I dont see anything wrong in celebrating birthdays, christmas and others. But the jehovah witness are against it. They always preach against it. They say the celebration attract all kinds of voilence and that it is a pagan practice which christian should not partake in. They should stop preaching against the celebration of christmas and birthdays cos there is nothing unscriptural in that. If there is, they should prove it now or never.

Many people dislike going to spiritual churches, when you ask them why? they will say many things about them. Some will say you can be contaminated with marine(water) spirit and another will even say they see fake visions and so on.

There was this my friend in my school those days, who is an ardent member of celestal church. He was so serious that he would prepare his white garment every friday pending on sunday when he will use it. When it was on friday, he would wake up very early in the morning, and wash his garment, in the evening he would iron it neatly awaiting on sundays. When it is on sunday, after his bath and all, he would put his garment and straightaway he goes to church with his bare foot. You dare not touch his garment unless u are looking 4 big problem that day. Sometimes, I even play with him, to wear slippers at least on his feet to avoid injury but he wouldn't.

One day he invited me 4 their harvest but i rejected cos i hv heard much story about some of their practices which are not biblical of which sometimes i bring to his notice but he would wave it off.

To me i dnt like going there cos i dnt want any contamination in my life.
