I am a Life coach and I deal with this issue daily.

2. You must realize that your academic performance or result in any Nigerian Institution is not directly proportional to the effort you give.
3. There is so much you will need to change to get the results you seek.
4. I will want to point you to a straight part.
5. I want to get to know you so I can measure what you will be learning by the results.
6. With God's help, you will be surprised at the results you will get.

The Year 2, in the University is that stage where your final grade is still redeemable. I had 4.17 and 4.49 in my Final year, and still finished with 3.36
so trust me, your life is just starting.

This is my thought on this issue.
The brain like every other organ in the human body needs to be exercised. One way this exercise is done is through constant reading, storing and recall. Cramming does this to the brain, it trains the brain to do a short term storage and makes it a habit, in the end, you'll discover that, you cannot retain information for a long time. If you practise storing and recalling, rhe brain gradually stores information and allows you make use of it on a long term basis. Therefore, cramming or quick fixing, damages the brain and can leave you in a mess. Questions that require applied knowledge and reasoning outside the scope of your study can leave you devastated.

The saints are the triumphant Christians(Catholics).. hu hv lived an exceptionally pious life worthy of emulation..and are now in the heavenly abode with the creator they soo much reverenced in their life time..just as u solicit help from a personality in power or in a highly placed position for favours.. so do we pray to the saints to intercede on our behalf to God for necessary graces for our salvation.

Lols, we definately cannot blame oir parents because they probably dealt with us the way their parents dealt with them. One thing though is this, morality must never be compromised and kids must find genuine expression.
Imagine a kid whose design is to be a great musician, if his or her parents force him outside this path, forget it, the kid will grow up frustrated.
Little wonder why we have several medical doctors gifted in music, or architects who should have ended up as good painters.
For parents, it's always a win win situation, so they think but for the child, money may not bring him satisfaction until he can do that which his soul is wired to do.

Y does the church allow culture to get mixed with spirituallity?
Look, aftet several years in yhe church, I realised that most of it's practices are deeply rooted in Roman Culture and customs. You can not pick a persons way of life and make it a religion masking it as christianity, these are my thoughts ,Basically, what ever is not biblical should be left because Christianity comes with its visible way of life, Nobody can set up rules or enforce ways for others to Get to God, God is a spirit and Those who worship him likewise.

Take a good look at our society today and most especially at youths who are on the verge of destruction most especially the morally debase ones and those who are debauched.
You will discover that these people are largely products of homes where parents control to a large extent the entirety of the child's life.
Today I write to upcoming parents and those already in the business of Parenting. Please handle your children in the most appropriate manner. stop forcing your child to be an extension of your life, that you didn't go to med school, become a pilot or achieve a set goals does not give you the right to force your child to become what you failed to achieve.
Let kids develop their abilities while you maintain a prayerful, advisory and strong moral background for such kids. And for parents who do not give their kids any breathing space, you want them to brush their teeth with certain strokes, brush their hair in a certain way, lace their shoes the way you dictate, watch out, you'll end up raising a plebian of a child who will always never be able to make any firm decision in his or her life, moreso, such a child is a willing tool in the hands of manipulators.
I was a victim of such but I attained some degree of freedom in the university and began reading books on personality development till I mustered some degree of self confidence. I do not blame parents who indulge in this for they usually think that all they do is in the best interest of their kids but trust me, these kids are at their worst when faced with real life situations.
This may not have come out the way I planned but I hope you do understand my message.
