This is soo sad to read....May God comfort everyone that has experienced the pain of having someone close DIE, I just can imagine the pain ya'all have to go through. I Cant even continue reading this thread!..the reality of death! "Truly, to God we belong & to Him we shall return..., Every soul shall taste death". I just pray my time or anyone in my family isn't near, I wouldnt be able to cope mentally!..DEAR GOD!....Give people the strength to bear a loss, and grant them peace of mind & heart.

Hi
I pray all is well with you? Don't worry...God is ur strength & U wont die an untimely death. Please do come here to chat if u need people to talk to, talk about how you are feeling & listen to people's positive response if it makes you feel better...& Off course, ur doctor should become your best friend.
I am not sure if you can find this in Nigeria, please google "BLACKSEED OIL"...I heard it will build ur immunity etc, You have nothing to loose if you try it out.

Stay strong & God bless.

Elenababy: Just found out about my HIV status few weeks ago, since then life has been hell, I hardly eat or sleep...I even tried committing sucide but somehow am still alive, I need help and someone to talk to

I reject it... Abeg be specific... NOT all prominent APC members r looters.
Get well soon jagaban...You will return to Nigeria hail & hearty.

guonno: Prominent APC members will all have one form of disease or the other. The next disease to strike an APC member is leprosy.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Obama Wins Backing From Key Congressmen For Strike In Syria by ummitoagirl(f): 12:24am On Sep 05, 2013
I better start preparing my relocation to Nigeria, Giant of Africa...

obadiah777: not my predictions Sire. biblical predictions. its all in the bible
1-america will attack syria and blast it into the stone ages isaiah 17 vs 1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

2-russia ( gog ) gets involved and destroys the israeli people ( ezekiel 38 and 39 ) and then they and america start nuking each other. iran ( medes ) joins russia, china ( king of the east ) joins russia. north korea joins russia. they are nuking each other. firing all kinds of nukes. when the eurozone see that russia is winning they would join russia ( rev 17 ) and then they would all fire their nukes on usa. when the nukes stop flying america will have been flattened and not a soul survive ( rev 18 ). all major cities in the world would be destroyed by nukes. all western nations would be destroyed and they would have no food or water. hence the second leg of the war will begin immediately. all the surviving countries would unite against africa ( the only land left unscathed relatively ) to take the land for themselves. it would be a bloody war in which two thirds of the population of africa would be destroyed and killed ( zech 13 ).

3-after it is all said and done africa will be victorious but lets take nigeria for example with 180 million people. two thirds is 120 million. 120 million people in nigeria would be killed. only 60 million would be left standing.

Absolutely fantastic work. I would like to join your team & become a student ...buuutttt...I am not in Nigeria. Even though I will be visiting soon,(God willing) I doubt I can stay for more than 3 months!, furthermore, I doubt I can attend full time. What do you recommend? I actually have my own clothing label/line. NOTE: I have no sewing experience or idea, I design all the clothing & I own a sewing machine.

Hi Excelaior, I was going through past posts and I saw you mentioned Aliexpress, Can you recommend items on their that would move fast in Nigeria? I have been using the website since they started, so I am experienced with buying from there. One person told me, mechanic diagnostic machine will earn big money in naija...But I am female & would like to buy items I can give to my university student friend to sell etc. thank you
Health / Re: Cost Of IVF In Nigeria by ummitoagirl(f): 2:45pm On Aug 23, 2013
Thank you, I have told my hubby to check out Georges Memorial before I come over to join him..at least he can carry out all the tests required.

Blendy77: Most ivf hospitals here in naija are discreet about their patient's identity and medical history so people don't get to know what u did except u and ur friends and relatives meet urselves there at the hospital's reception. You could actually do it in europe, india or south africa if u really want privacy cos of his identity. Google is the best tool for scanning thru fertility centers where u're based. However, if decide to return to naija for the procedure, pls go through the thread and the other ivf thread and u will see all the good clinics that have been mentioned like Georges, Bridge, Nisa premier in abj, fertilaid in abj and also Diff in abj. I have no doubt that u'll conceive at first attempt since u've recently carried a pregnancy to term. All the best.

Thank you. I will keep that in mind.

omode2: you really need to b very careful because u av not been in Nigeria for a long time and ppl will be afta ur pocket s even those u think are ur friends knwin u are just comin frm a diff environment where things works be prepared for so many things if not, ur 2m may nt just amount to nothin cos rate of inflatn is very high. Any business u dont knw really well is an high risk rather than start urs immediately humble urself by taking a teachin job in a creche where by u can understudy d system and d naija environment or you stick to d clothing biz wc also brings steady income if u can be supplyin small boutique shops. Talkin frm experience!

Thank you soo much, I will like you to inbox me ur contact. I am thinking of lagos and I can bring in d furnishing from IKEA Europe. I better start looking for a childcare course to do then.

excelsiorfarm: @ummitoagirl, concerning turnover, busy & major cities eg lagos , abuja has high ROI. When we started, 350k was invested ,but u know it is ibadan, lagos will differ, abuja even higher because of cost of space or rentage. With God, u will have recover all invested & be making profit from a year or less. Fees in abuja is as high as 30000 naira & more in a month for a child, ibadan as high as 18000 naira monthly a child, lagos in d range of lagos, all d determinant is on location, standard, choice. Make sure it is pay b4 service or all parent should pay first week of d month or quarterly. Many are fraudulent in nature, ratio of worker to child depends on d standard given by d authorties in your state of choice. Maybe 1-5 or more, u can bring in your toys etc, make sure u do some handbills etc to hasten d growth,God Bless

I do not understand you.. You have this already or you can organise similar for me..How much did you use to complete it? and whats the turn over like? what area is it based & how much are the fees like?
furthermore, I am not sure I will like my father to get involved, he has two wives and they will surely start to raise eye brows.
Note, I do not live in Nigeria, I haven't in the past 14 years, I just want to come back for 3 months because I am deeply thinking of relocation. I only know my granny & 4/5 friends from my sec. school.

excelsiorfarm: @UMMITOAGIRL,i have a registered creche,i rented d place,refurblish/ungraded it,put in toys, beds, made it homely for kids & employed qualify hands for mgt
Business / Re: Businesses That Will Give You A Meaningful Income Flow Continually by ummitoagirl(f): 10:35pm On Aug 20, 2013
Thanks. The creche seems like a good Idea, a friend of mine just started hers around VI, she's is well connected though. I may get a childcare course certificate from my country (europe) so I will be well equipped. I wont mind the agric one too...my father is a poultry farmer but we are not really in touch. Please give me the info on the agric business, cost of rent & if I can employ someone to manage it.

excelsiorfarm: st worthy.i will recommend agricbiz, men must eat, whether poor or rich, daycare & creche if u have space or can get one in major city, also u can still do your present biz,but add cheap jewelleries to it i.e ear rings, necklands etc.all d above biz will easily give u good income daily/monthly, if well planned, executed & managed.area of agric will be fishfarming, goat & pigs, veg(u need land, can rent),for creche,u can rent apt

Hi,
I just came across this topic. I am coming to naija for 3 months to search for business opportunities..what would you advise a young female (28) to go into? At the moment, I am into high end modest evening clothing, custom made from China & India but I want something that will bring steady flow of income for me in Naija & that may help my relocation back to naija. I only have N2.M to invest & I dont mind employing someone.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the topic in a way or the other. I have tried some Islamic "dating" websites, but..I always fall off them after a while- I prefer a Nigerian Yoruba. I would like to meet via a mosque or a reputable someone that knows someone. off course, that wont be online..I have been a lurker on nairaland for some years now, it's nice to know there are some genuinely nice people on here.. Jazakallah kayran to everyone..NB: I reside abroad & my county is in a remote area with a tiny fraction of muslims.
