Politics / Re: Hardship: Don’t Join Protest Against Tinubu, Afenifere Begs Yoruba People by Umuinyioku: 3:50pm On Feb 25 |
Ebinpiawazuu:He is a factional leader of Afenifere, superimposed on Yoruba people by dissatisfied Tinubu group. The authentic Afenifere is led by Pa Adebanjo from Ijebu Igbo,Ogun State. He is detribalised and doesn't view issues from ethnic prism unlike Pa Adeforosanti who operates under Tinubu's Media gurage. His appeal is meaningless and doesn't represent authentic voice of Yoruba people. The Yoruba people will join the strike because they're not insulated from hardship ravaging the Land. 3 Likes |

nlfpmod:It's better the government looks inward. Develop our capacity and fight corruption. By so doing,we shall come out of the doldrums. In the meantime, let's fix our internal problems. And this will restore investors confidence in our country. How do you expect foreign investments when there is insurgency, banditry, unaddressed religious and ethnic genocide and jumbo jet corruption? Let's fix our problems with sincerity first before we attract foreign investments. 1 Like |

Chukwuka319:Your comments betray your real image. You must be infant with timidity of innocent soul. Gowon erred in his comments. He must know he didn't defeat Biafra via firepower but centrifugal forces played a major role. Biafra is epitome for freedom. Freedom of all oppressed peoples all over the world. The struggle for freedom is sweeter than Melody of vuvuzela. Biafrans are proud of their heritage. Fought for freedom from Fulani hegemony and expansionism. They sensed occupying same space with northern aristocratic hew and their Southwest sympathisers will not augur well for equitable polity. And they are vindicated, going by what's playing out in the polity today. By the way, the average Biafran he fought against have homes of their heritage. But Gowon has none. His ancestral home of Anga in plateau state has been taken over by same Fulani's he fought for to preserve Nigeria's warped federalism. He should be ashamed of himself with his vitriolic comments. |

LegendHero:What are you yarning here? That Obi is wrong to carpet INEC for inefficiency and maladministration, leading to installing a drug addict and certificate forger.as President? Tinubu didn't win elections but was installed by INEC in cahoot with the presidency. The injustice is the Achilles heels to Nigeria's development and growth. So much suffering and anomie in the Land. The gods are angry. Mahmoud Yakubu and his inept INEC have caused serious breach in our political evolution. So sad. Weeps! |

Business / Re: Lagos To Convert Computer Village, Ikeja To Residential Area by Umuinyioku: 5:57pm On Feb 22 |
LagosFc:Obi came third? You're behaving to true character...snatch, grab and run with ballot boxes - according to your mentor and political godfather Tinubu via his gospel of politicking. Labour outlandishly won Lagos with over one million votes but upturned with less than 12,000 margin. Labour also won Rivers with landslide. But the rascal and political betrayer, Wike, upturned the results which had wide margin of votes for labour and gave it to Tinubu. That's the basis of his compensation today as FCT Minister and Mayor of Abuja with countless money spinning vaults opened for him to gesticulate with it. You could see Tinubu didn't win more votes than Obi. Even in Abuja, he floored him. It was a prerequisite for a President to win the territory to legitimise his rule. But it was overruled by the establishment to pave way for Tinubu. In fairness, Tinubu didn't win but put there by feudal establishment. And the injustice is what's playing out in the polity. A President that has no legitimacy and respect amongst Nigerians and international community. His obsession for presidency, Emilokan,is what is causing KATAKATA in the country today. Abeggi, Dei your Dei,make I dei my dei! |
