Politics / Re: Hadi Sirika’s Brother Abubakar Arrested By EFCC Over N8bn Aviation Contract by Umuinyioku: 12:27pm On Feb 08 |
Truths9ja:You see why they don't power slip off their hands. Very brazen and corrupt. He should not only be arrested but prosecuted, jailed. Enough of the impunity. His senior brother went into phantom agreement with Ethiopia Airlines and squeezed life out of us. Money stolen and nothing like Nigeria Air Until these people are dealt with, the culture of impunity will continue. I weep for Nigeria! 4 Likes |

TOPCRUISE:Nigeria could play so well if NFF encourages local league players. The likes of Keshi,Rashidi Yekini,Sunday Olise,Jay Jay Okocha,Daniel Amokachi, Finidi George, Odegbami etc are products of the league. What is happening right now. I think the problem is NFF who have no vision of Nigerian football. But only to go there to grab money. Kudos to South African league! |

Sports / Re: AFCON 2023: Nwabali Man Of The Match In Nigeria’s Victory Against South Africa by Umuinyioku: 9:55am On Feb 08 |
robosky02:Nigeria won. But the lessons from the match is what we must imbibe. South Africa paraded entirely home based players. They are all from PSL. Only two foreign based who were not used throughout. Now,what happens to our NPFL. Apart from Ojo Olorunleke, a goalkeeper from Enyimba,no other player from the domestic league were called. This is not encouraging. NFF should should do something to improve the league and encourage local players into national team. Nwabali plied his trade at home front before he traveled to South Africa. Because he was overlooked at home. Kudos to South Africa for their superlative league! 4 Likes |

robosky02:Thanksfor the enlightenment. I think NFF needs to learn from South Africa who paraded home based players for the tournament and did exceptionally well. The boys stunned us with their dexterity and didn't feel intimated by our galaxy of stars. Future of football is in South Africa. NFF should learn how domestic league is organised from SAFA. 4 Likes 1 Share |
