I am amazed at how Nigerians are so obsessed with the notion that bigger is better. Assuming that the Dangote refinery has more capacity than the 10 biggest European refineries, has that made more fuel readily available and cheaper for Nigerians? Absolutely NOT! The country still cannot provide enough fuel for its citizens even at high prices. It's the same way Nigeria boasts of its population yet is ranked very low in terms of African developed countries. Bigger is NOT better. Luxembourg has a population of about 653,000 people and it's more developed than Nigeria could ever dream of. |
Every Tom, Dick, and Harry would come to Nigeria and NOT only mistreat Nigerians with impunity but also take away your mineral resources yet you claim to be a country. Could you tell me any country that you would go to as a foreigner and exercise more rights than the citizens except Nigeria? This supposed arrest is nothing but a charade...nothing will come of it. These Chinese men will be released through the backdoor and that will be the end of it. What a hopeless and useless country, Nigeria is. |
Gjrich:All these deceptive MOFOS are just deceiving themselves! |
Your country Nigeria keeps borrowing and mortgaging your future and that of your generations to have enough money to steal. For those of you who are quick to jubilate and gallivant that your worthless naira is appreciating against the $, these loans are what your government is using to subsidize and prop up your failed currency. It has to keep borrowing more money to subsidize the naira otherwise, it will be in a FREE fall. And this is why the temporal appreciation of your worthless notes has not positively impacted inflation. So, for all the Agbadomites who are quick to mouth off about the gaining of Naira against the almighty $, you need to rethink! All of you are in for a rude awakening! |
What a ruse! Your country has gotten so bad that indigenous people have to sign an agreement with foreign invaders to be able to do normally what they have a God-given right to do. I hope that the Yorubas do NOT fall for this nonsense. If they doubt me, let them go and ask Dave "Devil" Umahi, the former governor of Ebonyi state, who reached an agreement and called a truce between the people of Ebonyi and the terrorists to cease hostilities by the terrorists. But did the terrorist Fulani herdsmen abide by the agreement? Absolutely NOT! What the herdsmen did was to leave town when an attack by their kinsmen was imminent. It's no secret that these terrorist Fulani herdsmen operate on "taquiya," which means to lie or cheat as long as you achieve your goal. So, to trust and believe them is at your peril. A word is enough for the wise. |
Imagine putting your life in danger and when something happens you will blame the water gods. What a hopeless place! |
Remaining in Nigeria is the surest and easiest way to kill you. Yesterday's survivors are today's victims and today's survivors will become tomorrow's victims! |
What about that for One Nigeria? All of you who love and believe that GOD will come down from heaven one day to make your One Nigeria better, keep deceiving and being dishonest to yourselves. Nigeria will happen to everyone who wants Nigeria to remain together as one. |
tollyboy5:Why NOT STOP me if you have the balls to do so? |
tollyboy5:You must be brain-dead then. IPOB led by PM Simon Ekpa banned your FRAUDULENT selection in Biafra, land, so where the 4uck did get the idea that IPOB supported your fraud? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_o9VLLEp_ds |
tollyboy5:And my comment is for people who have enough brains to reason and NOT for dumbos! |
Yea! Yea!! Yea!!! What has the appreciation of your worthless Naira against the $ done to improve the lives of everyday Nigerians? Absolutely NOTHING! Food prices are skyrocketing every day and no end in sight. So, telling us that your worthless naira has made some gain against the $ is of NO consolation to the citizens who are facing tremendous hardship and hunger. |
WOW! Look at that hammerhead ![]() |
What a hopeless country. I am glad the citizens exacted some form of justice. |
Now, tell me for those of you who are always shouting that Nigeria will be great one day, is this the sign of a country that would be great? A current governor was aiding and abetting the escape of a wanted criminal ex-governor who embezzled his state funds. This can only happen in a country whose feckless citizens believe that a non-workable, lawless, and hopeless country will one day become great when God comes down from heaven to run its affairs. What a hopeless and dishonest set of people! |
The government, through its agency, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), expressed worry that despite the recent appreciation of the Naira against the dollar, consumers continue to face escalating costs without a corresponding decrease in prices of goods and commodities. If this government is acting ignorant of NOT knowing why despite their false claim that the worthless Naira is gaining value against the $, then it's lying to itself. The truth is that the Naira gaining value against the dollar is temporary and would never lower the price of foodstuff. It is because NOT only is the government subsidizing the $, but it also has NO source of foreign exchange since the hopeless country produces nothing, hence nothing to export. And the moment the subsidy is withdrawn, the value of the worthless Naira against the $ would automatically go down. So, the government should tell the people the truth about its economic policies which are NOTHING but voodoo economics. |
Redhot111:Don't mind the same man who claimed he did NOT believe in Nigeria, but now he believes in the sovereignty of Nigeria. I wonder what changed! Hypocrites everywhere!! |
If you want to deal with those threatening the sovereignty of your hopeless and useless country, Liegeria, you START with the terrorist Fulani herdsmen. But I am certain you do NOT have the balls to go after them. After all, they are the only group of people that are FREE to roam around with AK-47s without any consequences albeit contrary to your laws. They are the only group that your brown envelope journalists and media houses are afraid to call out for their excesses. They are the only group that would come out publicly to threaten your country by going into a community, killing all the inhabitants, and taking over their ancestral lands. So, Mr. Presidiot Ebola Pablo EscoBAT Tiefnubu, you must put your words into action. We have heard that empty talk so many times. |
Nigerians are NOT seeing any decrease in the price of foodstuff! So, where is the decrease in food inflation? This government keeps lying to the citizens. |
I knew that your COWARDLY terrorists in military uniforms are NOT to be trusted or believed. I commented on this issue when the military issued a statement about the incident and warned the public NOT to trust the military because they lied about everything. Now, it's obvious that they are justifying the lack of trust. If you trust and believe the terrorists in military uniforms, you do so at your peril! Enough said!! |
y3mi:I agree with you wholeheartedly! The issue is that Nigerians fail to realize that any country put together based on a clash of value systems or cultures will never work. The citizens have been so browbeaten that they suffer from Stockholm syndrome and would defend their oppressors. In Nigeria, when you fight the oppressors, you do NOT fight with both hands, you use one hand to fight them, and the other hand you use to vigorously fend off the oppressed because they are the ones that would give you the toughest fight. |
immortalcrown:Here in the US, I can take your pictures as many times as I want in a public space where no reasonable person expects privacy as long as I am NOT using it for pecuniary gain assuming you're a celebrity, or using it for illegal purposes, then bring your lawsuit. I can guarantee you that you will lose! However, I can NOT say that about the lawless Nigeria! |
immortalcrown:It's a no-brainer, if you are in a public space, it's obvious you are NOT trespassing. But If you use any picture taken with or without permission for pecuniary gain or in a criminal way, that's a different ball game. |
immortalcrown:"You can be sued for this nonsense." Yes, you can sue anybody you want but that does NOT mean you will win. I am NOT certain if you are talking about Nigerian law or the Western world, especially the US and Canada. But at least in the US, whether taking a picture of an individual violates his privacy rights depends on that person's reasonable expectation of privacy (REP) where the photo was taken. The more public a place is, the less REP a person has. For example, your REP at a park or on the street is very limited. But, you can reasonably expect privacy inside your home or another private place, such as a changing room. Sometimes, you have a REP inside a public place, such as in a bathroom at a park or inside a locker room at a gym. |
lowkey0147:I share your sentiment. I believe that we do not need anyone who denies he or she is Igbo. After all, there are NO benefits to us as an ethnic group if the individual is Igbo or not. They are making it seem like them being Igbo elevates Igbo as a race. But that's NOT the case. Interestingly, these guys bear both Igbo first and Last names but claim they are NOT Igbo. I wonder why they are NOT bearing Chinese, Hausa, Yoruba, or Fulani names and claim they are NOT Igbo, at least that would make sense. Seriously, I have learned NOT to pay heed to these folks. They can be whatever the 4uck they want to be, it makes me or any other Igbo person no damn difference. It takes NOTHING away from who we are as an ethnic group. The irony is that when the chips are down the other ethnic groups Yoruba, Hausa, and Fulani would show them who they are regardless of their denials. Look at the Okuoma community. That incident tells you all you need to know! |
Hezzyluv:Your country has NEVER been UNITED and will NEVER be! Let's be honest with ourselves for once. WE HATE and despise each other and are always "at daggers-drawn!" Is that how a united people act? Absolutely NOT! So, let's break up the damn contraption and let everyone go their separate ways. The people would be better "separate and alive" than "together and dead!" A word is enough for the wise. |
miketayo: ...those prices weren't suddenly lowered WOW! Ignorance is NOT bliss. What is the title of the post or thread? In case you did NOT get the memo, it says, (Price War: Ethiopian Airlines On Lagos -london Route Now Cheaper Than Air Peace). Now go figure. To say that "those prices weren't suddenly lowered" shows that you were oblivious to what the post was all about but in your haste to show your knowledge, you went ahead and made a fool of yourself. And as if that was NOT bad enough, you keep arguing blindly. I do NOT mean to demean you but it's difficult for you to grasp and comprehend easy concepts. As I said earlier, you don't even grasp what the post was all about and I can't waste my time trying to get you to understand what is apparently beyond your comprehension. |
miketayo:My point was direct flights are more expensive than flights with layover, most of those flights have 1 or 2 layover that's why they are cheaper. Air peace flies direct. Far from it, I do not have to spend a sleepless night trying to show your ignorance, but that's beside the point. You just stated your point but you completely missed my point. If you possess reading and comprehension skills, there's no way you would respond the way you did. You were completely off the mark. I was NOT talking about direct flights or any layover. My point as clearly stated was why all these foreign airlines suddenly decided to lower their airfare since Air Peace started plying the Lagos to London route. Below is my comment, so tell me why any reasonable person would react the way you did. UnabashedIPOB: Why do all these foreign airlines suddenly want to reduce their air tickets after having been fleecing Nigerians for so many years? Do NOT be suckered into their bait-and-switch tactics. If they could slash their prices NOW, why have they NOT been doing it all this while? I hope Nigerians are NOT fooled by their evil ploy! |
miketayo:Were you NOT the guy running your diarrhea youth who had never seen the inside of an airplane? Now, look at the list of Airlines involved in the ticket war and tell me how many are foreign airlines besides the UK ones. You see a lot of you guys who have never been out of your failed country, would come online and hide behind the keyboard and act like you know what the 4uck is going on. But in reality, you do NOT know anything other than what you read online. Just like I advised you prior, you have to develop the skill to comprehend what you read and NOT just read something and run with it without understanding what you had read. As they say, half education is very dangerous! Please next time if you have nothing of substance to contribute to any intelligence discourse you better keep quiet and NOT make jest of yourself!
|
This is why we want to get out of this failed contraption called Liegeria. Your government is the sponsor of terrorism hence it would NOT stop until its goal is achieved...take over by the terrorist Fulanis! |
miketayo:Yes, I did and that was NOT to waste my time with mindless and feckless individuals! |
I wonder why the names of the other members of the gang were NOT highlighted as well! |
