Persons suspected to be members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB on Sunday attacked a trailer carrying cattle.

In a viral video on the internet, the trailer bearing the cattle was seen going up in flames, while cattle which alighted from the truck were seen wandering without direction.

Sources said the incident happened at Ezinifite/Uga Road in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State at about 8am on Sunday morning.

The Anambra State Police Command Spokesperson, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga was yet to confirm the report at the time of filing this report.

It's no secret that the Fulani Government of Nigeria has tried everything within its power to get western countries to tag the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) a terrorist group. It has along with its terrorist Fulani foot soldiers done unimaginable things to destroy, dehumanize and demonize the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). It has lied, made up stories and even staged many killings and blamed them on IPOB.

Could it be a coincidence that barely a week after its propaganda about the killings of the couple, the UK government announced changes to its Asylum policies? I know that passions are always inflamed at the mention of IPOB and a lot of Nigerians can not hide their hatred of IPOB, however, there are very pertinent questions that reasonable people must ask.

First, where were the soldiers killed and why was the tribe of the soldiers mentioned by the Fulani Government of Nigeria unlike so many soldiers killed by Boko Haram and other Fulani terrorists? Are they setting a stage for invasion of Igbo land to massacre our youths and burn our villages? The story about the killings of the two soldiers are not clear and at the very least, bizarre. It is questionable. And I still don't know why people are not asking questions.

Secondly, how were the killers able to identify these soldiers among many commuters? Were they in their military uniforms?
Were they in their private car or public transportation when they were apprehended and killed? Where exactly were they killed?
You might find it very interesting that the report never answered any of these pertinent questions. The report alleged that they were on their way to Imo State when it could have easily for clarity sake, say where they were actually killed? To say they were on their way to Imo State means that their killings could have been in any of the Nigerian states outside of Imo State or even the other four states of the southeast.

Furthermore, is it a norm that a retired military personnel is allowed to wear his or her military uniform more or less while traveling? And will any reasonable person traveling to Imo State with what's going on in Orlu, put on his military uniform? And the answer is absolutely NO. What's the point that they are trying to prove? Will IPOB actually kill a soldier and make a video claiming they did it? And at worst, mention Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's name, when they know that same Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is facing terrorism charges? It makes no sense my friends. Do you think that members of IPOB are that foolish or could it be that those believing these tall tales are the ones actually foolish?

In conclusion, the purpose of this concocted story is to demonize IPOB and persuade western governments including the UK and others to recognize IPOB as a terrorist group. Folks, this fabricated story does not add up and if you're an honest broker devoid of hatred and sentiment, you will agree. In my opinion, the two soldiers were sacrificial lambs. They had decided to marry, and the military must at least retire one of them compulsorily. In fact, report has it that the groom to be had been retired. And this made them more expendable. In essence, why not eliminate them and hang it on IPOB?

Nnamdi Kanu's Lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor has reacted to the designation of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB as a Terrorist Group by the British Government.

This newspaper earlier reported that the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) posted the following update about IPOB/MASSOB on its website;

“IPOB is proscribed as a terrorist group by the Nigerian government, and members of the group and its paramilitary wing – the Eastern Security Network (created in December 2020) – have reportedly committed human rights violations in Nigeria.”

“If a person has been involved with IPOB (and/or an affiliated group), MASSOB or any other ‘Biafran’ group that incites or uses violence to achieve its aims, decision makers must consider whether one (or more) of the exclusion clauses under the Refugee Convention is applicable.”

“Persons who commit human rights violations must not be granted asylum.”

However, Ejimakor says otherwise. He tweeted on Friday; "Britain DID NOT declare #IPOB a terrorist group. Sorry to disappoint those that have concluded otherwise."

The UK Government has announced that it will not grant asylum to members of terrorist groups in the Eastern part of Nigeria like IPOB.



While they described IPOB as a terrorist group which has been proscribed by the Nigerian government, MASSOB was designated as 'banned' but not a terrorist group.

Thirty Nigerian citizens have been arrested in Saudi Arabia for displaying campaign posters of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the holy mosque, Kaaba, SaharaReporters learnt.

The Nigerians, while on lesser Hajj, Umrah, were reportedly nabbed by the Saudi police at the holy mosque as they walk around the Kaaba with Tinubu's posters lifted up.

An eyewitness, Murtala Adamu Jega, a Nigerian who also performed the lesser Hajj at the time said, "I'm a witness; I saw them lift Bola Tinubu's posters at the holy Kaaba.

"This is despicable. Instead of them to devout precious time to pray for peace to return to our country, 30 men made a mockery of our nation by lifting up a politician's posters in the holy place. Thank God, Saudi authorities were swift to have arrested them right there and then," he said.

For Zainab Abdullahi, another Nigerian who was at the mosque, "the scenario was a very bad representation of Nigeria's image before the world, and I think politicians must desist from this bad behaviour".

Meanwhile, a Saudi Arabian source said those arrested would be charged to court to serve their sentences.

Commenting on the situation, a renowned Islamic Cleric in Nigeria, Sheik Nura Khalid, commended the Saudi authorities for the arrest, saying, "Lifting up a politician's posters in the holy Kaaba has contravened Islamic traditions."
