I do NOT condone the killing of any innocent person especially that of an Igbo man. However, this article is to address Governor Charles Soludo and the M0R0NS, who have very shot memories. After watching the video, especially where Mr. Soludo and Andy Ubah debated the issue of insecurity, then if you are being honest to yourself, you should be able to have a clear sense of why there's insecurity in Anambra State. In that debate, Charles Soludo not only embarrassed Andy Ubah before the whole world, he decimated him.
Mr. Soludo accused him of bringing insecurity to Anambra and called him a criminal, a kidnapper, house maid to Olusegun Obasanjo and informed the whole world watching the debate that Andy Ubah forged his WAEC certificate. Meanwhile I saw he was attempting to still play the bet. I told him he should wait let's resolve the withdrawal before he plays his bet. He went ahead and play a bet of #1000. I became angry and asked him if I didn't ask him not to play that bet until we resolve his withdrawal. I asked him how he intend paying for the bet now. He says I should use his atm. I told him his atm card is still showing insufficient fund. He said why am I shouting at him if I know who he is.

People around later heard the noise. They started begging. When they asked me what the problem is before I try to explain, they would hit me with the belt that I should shut up. When they are satisfied they finally left.
I checked for the name tag on his uniform but he has removed it. His other two colleague are putting on muftty. I do have a CCTV camera in my shop which they are not aware, so everything is on video.
Please, how do I proceed with this case and get justice, pls don't say police cos I took an issue to the police the other time when money was stolen in my shop. Even with video evidence nothing was done. They tasked me anyhow. One naira no come out..

SlyDev: ASABA-APPREHENSION, Tuesday, enveloped, Ugbolu community, near Asaba and its environs as suspected adherents of the Independent People of Biafra, IPOB went on rampage burning down two Dangote trucks, one keke and damaged one Audi Volkswagen car.
The suspected IPOB elements reportedly blocked the Ugbolu/Illah Road at Mile 5, shooting indiscriminately. The Vanguard gathered that one was feared killed during the shooting.
A source in the area, told our Correspondent that road users and residents of the area fled into the bush for fear of being hit by stray bullets.

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) may have bowed to pressure from families of victims of the March 28 attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train as the corporation has shifted the resumption of service.
The NRC had earlier fixed Monday, May 23 for the resumption of the train service but the relatives of the victims opposed the move, saying it was insensitive to resume operation on the route when their loved ones are still languishing in captivity.
Apparently bowing to their demand, the NRC postponed the resumption indefinitely as no new date was announced.
Spokesman of the NRC, Mr. Mahmud Yakub, in a statement on Friday said a new date would be announced “soonest.”
In the statement, the NRC apologised for the delay in the resumption of the service even as it assured the families of the kidnapped victims that it was working very hard to safely rescue the kidnapped victims.
It said, “The NRC will continue to cooperate and collaborate with the Federal Government in its uncompromising mandate of protecting the territorial integrity and the internal security of Nigeria for safeguarding the lives and properties of its citizens especially as it concerns the rail sub-sector.
“In same vein, we once again identify with the relatives of those in captivity on the account of the recent attack on AKTS to be rest assured that the Federal Government is alive to its responsibility for the safe rescue of all persons being held hostage.
“We therefore appeal, particularly to the relatives of persons held hostage to be patient and cooperate with the Corporation and the Security Agencies as the Federal Government is exploring all possible ways and means to ensure the safe release of their loved ones from captivity, soonest.
EBMedia: Anambra State governor, Professor Charles Soludo has said that he inherited a “red treasury and pervasive insecurity” from his predecessor, Willie Obiano, IGBERETV reports.
Soludo said this while speaking on Thursday May 19 during his presentation of the N170 billion revised 2022 budget proposal to the Anambra House of Assembly. The Governor said his administration would take steps to overcome the “humongous” challenges confronting it.
Soludo said;
“We have seriously started reforming our system of tax administration to significantly ramp up our internally generated revenue over the coming years. In the meantime, the dire needs of Ndi Anambra and our transformation agenda cannot wait.
“We are working on a mixture of financing options including debt that is ring-fenced to fund bankable projects and/or infrastructure with impacts on the economy to guarantee efficient and effective service delivery to our people while ensuring fiscal sustainability over the medium to longer terms.”
The Governor also disclosed that his administration would partner with international developmental organisations, the private sector as well as the federal government to achieve some of the projects of his administration.
Soludo added;
“We are reforming our processes and ramping up our active engagements to maximize the benefits of such partnerships.
“For example, we have budgeted to meet our counterpart funding requirements to access federal and development partner funds.”
On insecurity, he said;
“We have chosen to confront the foundational issue of security head-on and expected that those profiting from the lucrative criminal enterprise would viciously fight back, and they have.
