I got the same problem but with a laptop but Toshiba

I use Avast 4.8 and whenever I scan my laptop, it will report some "Suspicious files" on my hard disk and later on says that my Operating memory has been infected with virus, so it has to scan from system start up and locate the virus, whenever it does, it won't detect any virus. What is the course and how will I remove the virus from my operating memory?
