Politics / APC Supporters, Give Me Answers To any of These And Get My Vote by uptoHim(m): 1:45am On Mar 18, 2015 |
I just want clear answers, may be your answers could convince one or two indifferent persons to vote for APC/Buhari. 1. During his regime, did Buhari fight corruption or indiscipline? If Buhari really fought corruption, who was justifiably/undoubtedly convicted, and which of them was a northerner? 2. What was Buhari's economic achievement during his regime? 3. What has Buhari done/said about his brothers/fulani herdsmen attacking and killing other ethnicity, either presently or in the past? 4. So far, in what single way has APC and their media helped the nation in the fight against boko haram? 5. Without Boko Haram, how would APC campaign had faired? 6. If Buhari is not a tribalised person, what tangible thing did he do for the eastern region(SS/SE) during his first regime? 7. Are u voting against GEJ because he has RELATIVELY performed poorly, or you just want something new? And with what we have seen of APC, is the party worth that something new? 8. And lastly, as de-tribalised as APC is claiming that Buhari is, why did he not campaign in the SS/SE during the first and second time he contested? Or did he campaign in these regions those times? 9. Do you really believe 100% that APC means well for this nation. Or you are gambling that we should just give them a "trial" chance 10. Do you really believe that APC/Buhari would solve the problem of these Boko Haram Islamic insulgency. Has any country ever solved it? You can answer any or all of these questions, or you can start e-war/insults. It's up to you! 25 Likes 7 Shares |
Politics / Re: Lekki Robbery: 2,123 Policemen Were Securing Jonathan – Fashola by uptoHim(m): 12:36am On Mar 18, 2015 |
fajesito: Because of God and because Fashola is my leader and elder, I will hold myself from insulting him. And for all those believing these Fashola's statements, I won't insult you too, but I'm angry with you on the way you reason. 2000plus police men for GEJ, then how many military men were deployed too? How many other security outfits were deployed too? May be the total number of security men realeased that day for GEJ visit was more that 5000. Even if na GEJ visit to Maduguri. Did any one in lagos that day see these police men with GEJ? I can imagine 2000plus police men following one man. I can't even imagine the slow traffic they would cause. Or may be they where deployed to man the check points, then where they not deployed to man Lekki check points too? Tell me, was Fashola's security police men withdrawn too. Was Tinubu, Ambode and all the APC top shots without their own police men on that day? Please Fashola, I'm really disappointed. I know that those robbers that day took much/enough time in their operations for any concerned authority to have done something. And I'm sure if Nairaland could get the infor as the robbery lasted, you also could had gotten it. What exactly did you do? 5 man robbery gang can be taken down by 5 man police men, or 5 man soldiers, or 5 man civil defence men(they use AK47 these days) or even 5 man any other security outfit including the navy. With an authority like Fashola and a sound establishment of a little emergency security protocol, the state govt could had responded with any other security outfit outside the police, that's if we agree that they could not make do with the police. I don't want to imagine that things could had gone the way it did if it had been fashola's family house or the state govt house that those 5 guys attacked that day. Well, its all right. We are all watching. I blame my fore fathers and my father's generation. But sadly enough, I'm disappointed in this our generation. 1 Like |

First, I am not the author of this piece, and I don't know who he or she. But whoever and wherever he/she is, i duff my cap. I just want to share it here so that at least, one prodigal daughter can return to her good life. Here we go... 1. He can spend a day with you touring beautiful places but at the end of the day he will go back to his wife and kids who will be missing him. 2. He is never going to leave his kids and wife because of you. He will only be fooling you all the time with words like “I will marry you, I will build for you a house, I will buy for you land, I will take you to the driving school, I will buy for you a posh car” and many more different lies. 3. Keep it in your minds that you’re not the only one he sleeps with apart from his wife. If he can cheat on his wife with you then can’t he cheat on you with some other lady? Seriously he does. He spends his time and money on other babes just like the way he does with you. 4. He really loves his wife that is why he married her, he can’t divorce her and he can’t marry you. You are just his side dish to take off his stress. So his loving you is for fun and temporary. 5. He will dump you after using you for some other fresh babe; he won’t fulfill what he promised you. Those will be lies that he told you just to soften your heart and to get what he wanted. 6. Getting pregnant won’t fully trap him; He has his real kids and wife at home that he can show to the friends and relatives. You and your kids will be hidden. 7. His property and money are his, children and his wife. It’s very hard to get a share on his property. 8. You will never be part of his future, so stop wasting your time and energy. Cease serving your body to him because he gives you some money, because he promised you something… A real lady works hard and gets her own money, pays her bills and a man with a lot of dime should just be a BONUS. Be wise dear Ladies. Get out of that sexual network. Stop wasting your time with married men. Love guys of your level who have true love for you not sex exchange for money True love has never failed anyone! 2 Likes |

Politics / Be Careful, Don't Let Your Victory Cost Us Nigeria! by uptoHim(m): 8:49pm On Mar 15, 2015 |
I am compelled to write this having followed this coming election keenly and realized that things have gone beyond just an election campaign. Or rather, things have had to be made very clear to all. It is now clear that it is no longer about PDP/Transformation or APC/Change. It is clearly about hate, tribalism and bigotry. With the manner we have been going about beating our chest and campaigning for our respective ideologies masked in party names, I'm afraid the victory we are sure of achieving with our candidates, might bring a greater loss to us all. To start with, I have come to believe that it is clearly not about APC and PDP, but about APC and her people against GEJ and his people. We need to know that there is "balance of terror". Balance of terror means that the next person has what you have, knows what you know, can fight you as badly as you can fight them, and understands your level of wickedness against him as clearly as you understand theirs against you. Unfortunately, many of us do not know this. And most importantly, we have foolishly come to believe that Nigeria can survive by a section of "us" alone. SCENARIOS Buhari Wins: If you are sincere to yourself, you will agree with me that MAJORITY of people who want Buhari to win are not sincerely about him being a better candidate or very qualified, but about Northern and SW ideology/interest, against that of MAJORITY of SS and SE. What this would mean is that the SS and SE would reject the election result and Buhari govt. And the first response would come from the SS. They could decide against moving Buhari's govt forward with "their oil". Don't deceive yourself by thinking that Buhari govt will be able to deal with them, as this time, it would not be an Asari/Tompolo thing. It would be a thousand times worse because I see a people rising in anger against perceived injustice and maginalization. And if its not handled well, and I doubt it could be, the SE might join. Imagine the rest GEJ refuses to hand over-The Gbagbo way Gbagbo was removed by the people from all parts of his country, not majority from a section. Since APC is more of a SW/Northern thing, this clearly tells you that there can't be a Gbagbo way in Nigeria. Remember the subsidy protest how some people pulled out in some part/s of Nigeria when they started seeing it as something with tribal undertone. This clearly tells you that any act of ousting him out violently would affect, not just only GEJ as some of us think, but could lead to what "Nigeria" can't handle GEJ wins Just like a talked about Buhari candidature, the MAJORITY of people supporting GEJ are not doing so because of him being the best for Nigeria now, but because they see him as their person or interest. And with the impression APC is creating(I don't know whether its a true or a false impression) in the minds of their supporters that Buhari has is carrying the voters larger crowd, or has already won, I see them vehemently rejecting GEJ victory. The north would erupt against those who they think are GEJ people, the SW would join in their normal more civilised way at the beginning, but with time, things could go out of hand. And of cause, as a result of the balance of terror thing, the people who have always been at the receiving end, but have resolved to "retaliate any day again" would not take things laying down. You can imagine the rest Before now, It was easy to think that you are the politically stronger people, the better skimmer, the benefactor, or the main Nigerian. But today, things have changed. Everyone knows who they are, who they should call their enemy, who they should fight, what they NEED to do and what they can do. And with the way we have allowed this election to clearly expose all the hate, tribalism and bigotry that have been in us for so long, we should all be afraid. If you think you should not be bothered, I pity you because you are also a potential victim. We really really really need to be very very very careful. These are my thoughts. You can think otherwise, that's normal and human. You can re-educate me, believe me, I will appreciate it. Agree with me or don't, whatever is your opinion, DON'T INSULT ME. I'm already tired of your hate, tribalism and bigotry. I'm already tired of everything that threatens the PEACE of this country. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Greatihex: Don't mind him. Someone who is too dense to understand football and psychology, let alone understanding a man as great as Mourinho and a team as big as Chelsea. He is just hating. The write up even gives him away as one who could not read that match well. May be he needs to go and re-watch the match, and try and understand the effect of the red card on the ref, Chelsea players, PSG players and the overall performance of everyone on the pitch. If he is more "cluefull" that Mourinho as he believes he is, he would have known that the absence of a player of Ibra style would have little of no negative defensive effect on a team. It can only reduce their scoring strength, not their defensive strength. And the psychological effect? It was a plus for PSG. Yes, Chelsea did not win. But they tried. I don't why that should mean that a success like Mourinho has become clueless. Anyway, I don't blame some of us, politicians have instill the into us the culture of calling those whose lives are centuries ahead of ours clueless. Its a pity. 2 Likes |

pendy79: What do you expect, when you are the one giving our government a bad press because you want to give GEJ administration away. its ia going to take Nigeria more than 50 years to recover from what some of us have done to her in the name of hating GEJ. Its really a pity. Of course, "you" won't stop until you wake up to find out GEJ's loss means Nigeria lost 7 Likes |

aresa: You are here to compare Fashola's achievements to that of GEJ. A state and country! What a highly of self mockery! And of course people who reason like you do would come here and click like for you, and as you expect, also support this your insult to GEJ administration. Well, its just a pity that "they" have taken away every sense of sound judgement that was left in some of us before this election. We are all talking about the generation of our fathers that has failed this country. But sadly enough, I have come to realise that they have also succeeded in using us to destroyed the generation of our children. Let me tell you, all these nonsense will not stop in some of you long after this GEJ/Buhari thing is over. Believe me, the level of decay this election campaign has instilled in some of you will come down to badly affect this country. And I just hope that this country would even be there by then |
