Seun: Historically, if a woman was promiscuous, she would get pregnant, and there would be no way of knowing which of the men she slept with was the father. Since men don’t like raising children that are not theirs, they built social structures to discourage promiscuity in females. Now that we have contraceptives and DNA testing, this is a bit outdated, but cultural change takes time. Thanx |

Christianity Etc › Re: Freemasonry, Evil In Nigeria? by urahara(m): 2:52pm On Jan 17, 2018 |
Bastage: To those who make claims about Freemasonry being Satanic or evil: This is a fallacy handed down by the churches. Freemasonry promotes the right of every man to believe in his own god - be that god Christian, Islamic, Judaic or whatever. The churches don't like that. They think every man should worship their god and despise any group which promotes freedom of worship.
Look at the vast majority of Islamic countries and you will see that Freemasonry is banned. The authorities simply don't want people to think for themselves. Take a look at any dictatorship and you will see that the same thing occurs. Freemasonry only survives in countries where people are allowed to think for themselves.
Freemasonry is neither secret nor occultic in the sense of the word that you have used it (I doubt if you know what occultic actually means though). Chirstians, Jews and Muslims are not forbidden from joining unless they live in a despotic country. The excommunication thing does not happen any more but is a throw-back to the days when the Catholic Church was the tyrannical dictator of peoples' lives. God is referred to as a Supreme Being because a Lodge may be made up of many faiths. There is no point calling him Allah when there are Christians present is there? By calling Him the Supreme Being, everyone understands that he is the god of their faith.
There is no such thing as a 14th level master mason. All master masons are holders of the 3rd degree.
Simply not true. Freemasons come from all walks of life - from street sweepers to royal princes, from captains of industry to lavatory attendants. No freemason makes money from the fraternity. If he did so, he would be thrown out. To the contrary, Freemasonry costs the member money - he will pay fees to his Lodge and he will pay monies to charities - Freemasonry being one of the largest donators to charity in the world.
I don't know about cab-drivers (although that wouldn't suprise me), but in London the vast majority of police officers are not freemasons. Something like less than 5% of the judiciary are members. That's a lower figure than for almost any other profession. The fallacy that most police officers are freemasons is spread by those who want it to be seen as some sort of organisation working secretly for the authorities.
Manley Hall wrote his works before becoming a freemason so can hardly be considered an authority on the subject. Alistair "The Great Beast" Crowley never was a freemason. He tried to join but was refused entrance.
Ogboni confraternity has nothing to do with Freemasonry. What you may find though (and this happens a lot) is that other fraternities take Freemasonry ritual and adapt it for themselves. There are hundreds of fraternities out there that style themselves as either masonic or psuedo-masonic but have absolutely nothing to do with recognised Freemasonry. Nice |

Seun: Religious faith is a choice. You choose to believe something in spite of the lack of evidence. You immerse yourself in experiences that would strengthen your faith e.g Going to church, reading only religious books, listening to only religious songs, making friends with only Christians. You avoid situations that might weaken your faith such as talking to atheists, studying evolution and the Big Bang theory, reading articles that criticize ‘men of God’, etc. This is very true |

johnydon22: Personal God
Chi means God in Igbo linguistics that is why the supreme God in Igbo pentheon is called Chukwu, a lingual sum of the word "Chi" and "Ukwu"
But on this note "Chi" is just God and it is personal. Peculiar to every individual. Everyone have their own Chi and your Chi determines your fate. Nothing happens or will happen without your Chi's approval and therefore you must at all times be in good terms with your chi because your Chi is like a spiritual essence that defines you.
The spiritual essence that defines your fate and life.
God of power, war, strength and wealth. Functions as an Alusi but also can be made a personal patron.
According to Igbo cosmogony. Everyone alive already has a Chi. So basically your Chi is there already you only need to make a connection with your Chi.
Doesn't necessarily have to include a physical shrine for your personal God but that helps amplifies the powers of your chi in this natural world. How could people leave such a beautiful religion to worship a zombie |

Seun: It’s a pity that he would lose his credibility with Christians completely if he became an atheist. Pastors would be like “see? we told you that he was an agent of Satan!” I suspect that he won’t allow himself to lose his faith for this reason. I suspect that he enjoys his platform as the “leader of the free nation in Christ” too much to mess with it.
I think atheists need to challenge Daddy Freeze publicly and get him to respond to some hard questions about his religion. Loooool Losing faith is not a matter of choice for anyone. Even if he loses faith, he may just decide to pretend and flow along |

The point is that
1. Christians follow different morality i.e catholics and jehovahs witness follow different sets of morality. Nigerian christians beat children, UK christians dont. etc
2. Atheists follow different morality. Some atheists dont support gays, some do.
Receive sense. Naaaah He won't. Just don't give him any attention. Very very very few Christians are worth your time. |

OP, there is nothing wrong in engaging in such. It helps you learn alot about yourself and how to treat your paramours (lovers or spouses) better during cøitus. Trust me, there is nothing more disheartening to a married man when he discovers he can't satisfy his spouse. This easily sends the relationship in a downward spiral and a loss of self esteem. You don't want to know what that is like.
NB: Too much of everything is unhealthy. |
