hi senga,hitv just added trace tv to both it's satellite and cable platforms.they removed mtvbase africa 4rm cable platform because mtv made them get thier signal 4rm dstv.so they told mtv,'no clean feed no mtv on hitv'.more channels to come soon, e.g,zee cinema,setanta sport news,fox news,cnbc africa,fox sports,e.t.c.also hitv is one years,and now offically has over 70,000 subscribers.

hi senga,well toyin was in london to finish some offical business,but had to come back because of d hitv 1year anniversary.hitv will be opening a business office in the uk.as at last year december they had signed trace,zee cinema,foxnews,islam channel,cnbc africa.this year more has been signed and will be added plus the others i mentioned next month.

hi senga if u check will dstv will be giving about 11 channels,including nta,ait,stv,mitv,channels.so is that value for money.apart from nat. geo. wild what is the quality channel there.

hi senga,do u know what he was doing there?.see hitv has the right for li liga for africa ,which they re sold some to dstv,nba,atp tennis events,serie a,uefa cup,fa cup from 2008 aug. to 2012.summited bid for uefa champions league.just like dstv,hitv now has the structure on in place.they have a state of the art broadcast centre,2 studios.so tell me which operator will not want to buy a share at hitv.all they need to do,is add more to it.for the first time nigeria youth can now get all the latest tools to work with.no other operator as that here.dstv do it's broadcast from s/a,mytv from germany,fstv was in london,gtv in the uk.so pls let's give hitv time,they need the support from everyone.

hi senga,who is the content provider?.am sure the person is giving u november's record.the sell of hitv doubled when they started the 19999 naira promo.and that was far back 2nd of december2008.

hi senga,just like u,i have great hope for broadcasting/dth business in nigeria.it's just that the people at nbc are just taking it too slow.i bet u that telkom or gtv will till have to buy into daar,trendtv or hitv.just like they did with multilinks etc.foreign companies don't start afresh.

hi senga,anybody who wants to buy can take upto 70% shares,and till keep 30 for nigerians.they [hitv] have invested millions of dollars in facilities and equipment,and are still buying more.don't forget that this foreign companies like buying into already formed businesses and invest more into them.hitv is seting the foundation.

hi,senga you are in the uk,saying what u don't know.who told u that hitv don't have a playout centre.for ur infomation they have 2 state of the art playout centre.one for cable[200 channels capacity],the other for satellite [50 channels capacity].hitv also uplinks it's channels by it self.no other operators[fstv,titv,trendtv] has done that.hitv has invested millons of dollar to thier operation in nigeria.with time u will be inform on the new channel to be added.

well just wait and see.they don't just add channels like that.if it were so dstv would have been adding channels everyday.pls wait,then u will see.

hi,pls hitv just installed a new subscription equipment and were carring out some in-house upgrade.so not all were srambled.if u were then maybe some records due to the upgrade were mixed up,or ur subscription as run out.
am sure u know they sent out text informing u guys to to update ur subscription.if u are off and u are not owing them call or visit their office.and pls the delay to add more channels is not hitv's problem but eutelsat.eutelsat technical staffs resumed work on the 14th.that is why u see trend tv said their freq. will come up by the end of the month.eutelsat is the one that adds channels,not hitv.hitv just signs for the channels and gets them the info.

hi,hitv has now fully scrambled her system.if u feel u are not owing,kindly go to their office with ur prove of payment and subcription form.and then u will be put on.they are trying to re-organize their payment system to serve u beta.
note, more new channels and contents to come in the coming weeks.

hi,for ur information the rights for the fa cup,was won by gtv[www.gtv.tv],for the the african zone.they re-sold for nigeria to hitv and dstv,s/africa to dstv.because they are not in the mentioned countries.the uefa champions league,caring cup,euro 2008 are for this season.hitv also has the right for 2010 nations cup and caf champions league.more to come,plus movies,documentries,music,etc.

see we shall see.my the way the champions league is owned my espn for africa,they in turn re-sold some to dstv.the right plus that of the fa cup ends this season.bidding will soon begin.dstv more to worry then hitv because gtv,and 4 other big operators will also be bidding for it.it's not all about the money,but ur bidding ability.can dstv buy every rights.well time shall tell.watch out for the nba this october 30th and nation cup jan -feb live on hitv.

see guys,if u feel dstv is the best,then check showtimearabia.com,orbit.com,foxtel.com,tatasky.com.then u will know that dstv is trash, see as i siad b4 hitv will soon unveil many new packages i.e,contents,epg,new channels,and other value added services.on or before the end of the year.the paper work are been worked out.

see i can tell you that the site in ikeja is bad,they had to go to france to get the full part to replace the bad one.they wanted to just repair it but toyin,hitv boss told them to travel and replace it in full.i am sure hitv will repay every subscriber in that area maybe with extra free months.

hi,mbc is a free channel on satellite.they don't broadcast to africa,their signal just manages to get to africa.i tell u that before the end of the year more channels,epg,contents will be on.thanks,

hi,before the start of transmission and before a programmes they now display the times of each programmes.so just keep watching.the epg wil soon start working and also more channels,contents and other valuie added services will soon be made known.

pls,hitv bought those repeater facilities and installed them since last year.me and u know power supply in nigeria is not good,so those facilities can get bad,i can tell u right now that they are working on the ikeja site,and that before saturday it will be back.thank u.
