Hello Guys,

Please I need advice on this forum.

I just completed my MSc program in the UK and my wife was offered a 3-year COS in her workplace. Tho she has a Canadian student visa she is meant to travel to Canada this September for her studies(Medical Biotechnology). I have been granted an open work permit too.

We are very confused as to travel to Canada or whether we should stay back in the UK.

No kids yet but she is 2 weeks pregnant.

No medical request yet. Do I need to be worried?

N:B I just completed my studies in the UK, I plan to join my wife and travel to Canada.

Please I need a few clarifications and suggestions.

My wife got a study permit Last year in August or September 2024 intake.

She intends to travel on the 23rd of July because her medical expiration date is on the 25th of July 2024 as written on her Border letter to avoid being denied a study permit at the Entry.

My question is,
Do they require a medical validity date to issue a study permit at the POE?

I learned that she is meant to travel 1 month to her school start date. Please If she travels on the 23rd against her school start date which is on the 18th of September, will this be an issue at the border?

Please which of the answers, can you give me a guide?

This is because of the answer he gave during the eligibility question setup. He can change the answer and the medical page will be removed.

He shared a page where there is a medical request on the application page.

I intend to wait till the visa officer requests for the medical. The cost of the medicals is expensive in the UK and I don't want to gamble with the cost.

My Fiancee Canadian study visa application has been approved and we just got married.

Please under which route can I apply to join her? I am a student in the UK and I am planning to travel with her since I am done with my studies here in the UK.

I am a graduate of Agricultural Economics and I have been doing business since I graduated.

I want to go for Master in Global Management because of my business rather than going for Msc in Agric which is linked to my first degree.

Will it in any way affect my visa chances?

3million is not enough ... You need a co-sponsor related to you.
Anybody that will be your sponsor, you need their statement of account likewise that of a co-sponsor. If your parents are sending the 3m to your account, you will state it in your sop.

I am getting an extra 4 million from my cousin but he will send it through my parent's account, that's a total of 7million which will cover for the 1 year PGD


With this, I don't need anybody's statement of account right?

Often times, admission into most programs in Fanshawe comes with a condition that Tuition deposit of about 2,300 Cad must be paid within 30 days.

However, I think during these Covid times, Fanshawe has been lenient with admission conditions. You may need to find out directly from the school if your program will come with conditions.

Hello boss,

I finished from the college but I am not more experienced. If you need to get admission to the school, you have to contact the International office via their email. You can get this info via the school's website.

With regards admission, there is little I can do. The International office representative will give you the list of their registered agents in Nigeria (please make sure you get this list directly from the school), through which, you will get your admission.

Once you get admission, you can then begin the visa application.

Caveat: The last time I did this was 2018 but I think the admission process is still the same.

Please how much is the first tuition fee, after you have been offered admission?

Biometrics was scheduled weeks ago shortly after receiving the instruction but the application came back as denied for several reasons. Should the person still consider going for biometrics? When the admission came through, school reached out to me to meet with their rep in Nigeria to handle my SP application at no cost. They have been handling everything though I still wrote my SOP ( with their guidance) and I provided other supporting documents as required my them most of which are the same with what has been shared here.

Which school is that please?
