Lol. James has arguably the best chest control and ball retention of any fullback around; on
any other day would chest the ball and, at worst, shield the ball from the player before passing. I don't know what got into his head. He made it too obvious what he intended to do, hence why Gordon read the move. Even I knew what he wanted to do just before he did it.
You better rest with all this your James hype.

That guy's awareness is one of the poorest on the team. Usually dont have a go at him for obvious reasons.

And to the gassed up mediocre coach, I may have overated his tactical ability, The space I saw between players yesterday had to have been from him or lack of it.

No Top 4 this season again. Welcome to the league of midtable team

Does Chelsea have the legs to see this game off?
Jackson needs to go off. He's playing slow

And Gallagher should get some awareness. He's a mistake away from causing a goal. All that hop about is leaving so much space for city

When it's all said and done, Only one player holds the record as being the very first and only player from Chelsea to win the European Player of the Year.

At least those of us who rated him can look back at his awards and see something to latch on to not sure we can say the same for dem thugs dem

So the same people who have been complaining about the price of the dollar are the ones who are now planning to buy and hoard the dollar, and drive up it's it's price. Let no one say Nigerians are not the problems of Nigeria.
It's not a bad thing as long as the opportunity presents itself.

Even in modern economies, any opportunity for arbitrage is quickly taken advantage of. Although this is quickly priced in by algos.

Which is why I think the outright ban is the best move at least in the midterm pending when the CBN has the liquidity to match the (perceived) demand.

The other alternative if (when) they are confident is to flood the market with the dollar equivalent of M3, lets see how the market play catch-up

All the noise about Kai!!

Funny how they all forgot that Mount their best Chelsea player was also sold. I'm sure he's really doing well where he is.

What other indices, would love to be educated on it. I have always wondered the fixation on dollar.
Inflation, unemployment, rising rates, misery index
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by User09:
Anyway, like i've always maintained, speculators, hoarders and arbitrageurs need to be taken out so the CBN can actually access and deal with the real demand.

I've always wondered why the fixation on the dollar and using it as a benchmark for economic assessment when the general populace should be worried about other economic indices.

People will always find a way to get what they need and making what they need scarce will only lead to increase in price of that commodity.

Nothing will ever stop Usman at Yaba from getting his hands on that dollars; and nothing will stop Chibuzor from going to him because he needs to pay for Tokunbo electronics.
Just like the example you gave, How many people knows or cites the actual price of cocaine?

I hope you realise that the moment people start to buy and stockpile dollars in cash, it no longer becomes the problem of the CBN,

Nigeria is still a naira driven economy as far as I'm aware.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by User09:
swiz123:
Do this and watch naira fall to 2k within few weeks. The more scarce a commodity is, the greater it's value. It's simple economics.

Liken it to when to when the US tightened her borders after 9/11 and the price of cocaine soared.
Based on what Pricing Index?.

Remember there's no means and ways. There are no dorm accounts. Black markets will become illegal.

The CBN will have effectively taken dollar out of the banking system save for companies who trade in and do their reporting in Dollars like the IOC's.

CBN has always insisted that Dollar pricing is banned. They just need to follow through

Except you mean people will be purchasing dollars to stockpile at home which is a big risk in itself and isnt practical.

Like I said, its a radical measure but seems to be the only way out. The game is already rigged as demand is always going to exceedingly pass supply and there seems to be no way out, at least in the short term.

When you say ban BDC. What do you mean. Like CBN should stop selling dollars to BDCs?
Outright Ban. Same for all dorm accounts.

It's a radical measure but one that'll likely have the effects needed.

All means that creates the need for a Dollar needs to be taken out

The discourse here would be much better if some people stopped making everything about politics.

People who should be smarter making a purely economic issue a political one. Looking at exchange rates movement/depreciation daily for the sole purpose of apportioning blames.

Larride is actually right. I remember mentioning it 2 years back that the CBN needs to go all out and ban all means that creates the need for a Dollar. No reason why there should be such speculative movements in the currency. Its the only way now. As far as I know, dollar pricing is still banned in Nigeria and by the CBN.

At least up until the time they are confident they can meet the demand in the short term

If ur parents no really hold bar or u no get job wey dey cater for ur needs and still chop remain, CFA is not for u.

CFA will practically lift u out of poverty once u have it. Even if u pass just CFA level 1 alone, u go get better job not more of when u eventually pass level 3 and hold the charter .

The naira-dollar wahala would definitely make CFA more expensive now . Even ACCA is affected by exchange rate and it’s also a good certification that allows u practice home and abroad. U go just watch out for opportunities in Naija to get ur first break .
This isnt true as the market generally is now saturated. Especially since the Institute now allows undergraduates write Level 1

Who was Arsenals standout player for you?
I thought Tomiyasu was alright especially seeing how Sterling was locked in when he came on

Then maybe Trossard cos of the goal and his run around

Rice has been a steal for you guys. He was the standout player.
Not sure I agree having rewatched the game.

Bar the goal and before the goal he wasnt. I thought there were spaces he was meant to be in at times that was left vacant

And this isnt about Jorginho, cos like I said back then, If the major criticism about Jorgiboy was his pace, Rice isnt that fast either

It is convenient to paint Buhari with the same brush that Jonathan showered himself with everyday to hide their obvious Jonathanism. Partly why I don't join in the Buhari pillorying.

It is easy to see that Buhari was many things but thief is not one of them. Buhari is probably the poorest Nigerian former president and this includes Ernest Shonekan who was only there in the interim. And when one juxtaposes the offices he held with the "wealth and assets" he possesses - one is armed with extra proof.

I don't want to hear "but his children schooled in. . ." Or "he was going for medical check-ups in . . ." He is a former president. Find out the emoluments and benefits that go along with being that. You would know that he will be able to afford it - without being a thief.
From a purely economic perspective, I dont even see the need for the comparison. Those were two distinct economic cycles.

Im even seriously rethinking this business thing. Is it even worth it? FBN specialiased dollar fund as of today is doing 9% pa

If the Naira continues it's 20% yearly depreciation against the dollar, that's 29% interest pa without doing anything.

When you start compounding your returns, it gets more interesting.

How much person dey even make on the business coupled with all the headache and risks?
Just to correct your math here. You're supposed to multiply not add, Effectively 30.8% interest

Take a look at the bolded and see why you come off as dishonest.

Pretty sure you know the bolded is deemed offensive anywhere in the world.

Who are you to set the rules on what people should get offended by when you cant even do the same.

I'll be frank, Based off of what I've seen and read from you, It'll do you best to go see a psychologist. I have an idea what it might be, but it'll be best if you spoke to someone.

P.S - I'm sure you know by now that I do not respond to personal attacks, best keep it civil

The only reason Chelsea escaped relegation last season was the points that Tuchel managed to scrap for them.

This season, let us see the *ABRAKADABRA* that'll make them escape.. This bants go too sweet. Especially after spending 1B pounds to sign ninnies that they call "future players".

Boehly will be Chelsea's downfall and we will be here to witness it!!
Quoting this for Popizaino and his fellow Pochettino fans.
